Amazing doctor who tries to figure out the source of your pain. I like that he doesn't just prescribe medication for pain but does procedures and injections! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

My first concern is his need to perform a physical exact with my clothes off. The exam he did could’ve been done with them on so that was alarming. Secondly, he seemed as if he didn’t want to treat me. He looked at my x rays from many years ago and decided that there was no need to treat me with a “there’s nothing I can do for you.” I’ve had recent imaging done explaining where part of my pain is coming from which I acquired right in the exam room with him from the imaging center it was done at and he didn’t even offer to wait for them to be faxed over to see how he may or may not be able to help me. I accompanied my wife to see Dr M just today. We both found him kind, warm, a good listener, and gentle. His explanations of the diagnosis and injections were thorough. We were very pleased.

Dr Menard took his time to clearly explain all aspects of my husband's condition. We really appreciated his time and consideration.

An amazing considerate caring doctor he takes his time with you. Hes very professional. He has a great personality and you will feel comfortable with him.

Dr Menard did injections in my lower back for pain but did it 3 inches too high and did it again a few weeks later where pain actually was, when getting off the table the pain was much worse, and now after two weeks extremely worse. He screwed up and now won’t do anything to help. He’s incompetent and rude, even his nurses are afraid to talk to him, the man has anger issues. He hurt me and won’t do anything to help. The only thinking pain management specialist in the Fredericksburg area. He's not there to just hand out narcotics, but to explore reasons for pain and look for multiple ways of addressing it.

What can i say about Dr Menard? One of the best Drs I know in his field . Extremely professional, listens to patient concerns (me), he genuinely cares and every procedure / injections has always been successful. Highly recommend him.

Dr. Menard was professional, friendly and an absolute Godsend when it came to the steroid injections I needed in my neck for herniated discs. I had the same procedures done by spinal "specialists" in San Antonio and they were nothing but ineffective torture sessions. Dr. Menard is so exact with his technique, that the procedures not only went smoothly, but also worked very well at relieving my pain. And, I didn't have to leave Fredericksburg to get great care. I was very impressed with Dr. Menard. His personal interface was EXCELLENT and his explanation was honest and straight forward. He said that he doubted his treatment for my problem(sacroiliac) would probably not help me as the nerves on the front of the bone could not be reached by the ablation process. A DR who was NOT out for enriching himself with an unecessary procedure. Five STAR all the way!

Dr Menard was very very thorough and professional. It’s pleasant to deal with a doctor whom understands my issues. Additionally his nurse Theresa and other staff were easy to talk to and seemed genuinely geared to helping me improve my back problems.

Dr. Menard is rude, arrogant and has zero bedside manner.

Dr. Menard practices the latest treatments for chronic pain. He is highly knowledgeable of both old and new medications and is trained by manufacturers of medical implant devices to surgically implant, monitor and remove those devices. He sees his patients through the necessary treatments for the control of chronic pain.

Dr. Menard was kind and professional to my 89 year old mother. He explained everything he was going to do, to her and my family. After surgery he showed us pictures of her spine and what he did during surgery. We highly recommend him and his staff.

My husband has been going to him for over a year for severe back pain. He has done NOTHING to help his pain level. His only answer is epidural in spine...three times in a year and a half with no help whatsoever. In 2018, my husband went to Dr. Menard for severe pain and he gave him NO remedy...no over the counter regimen, no prescription regimen, no TENS unit recommendation, no physical therapy recommendation. When he called about level 8 pain, Dr. M never called back.

Referred to Dr Menard last summer. He ordered MRI. After reviewing he said I'd have to have spinal surgery. I suggested steroid epidural and he said it wouldn't work I insisted to try and he shook his head and said ok. He did procedure and it worked for 6 weeks :( anyhow went back today and after he reviewed MRI again I'm being sent to surgery to a doctor we both agree on. Thank you Menard for your listening, patience, care and advice. I'm listening more this time

Worst Dr in gillespie county!!! A pain management dr that makes you get undressed, pee in a cup, charges you a copay and hands you a damn brochure with not even a thought and no help whatsoever! Treats you like a drug addict not even knowing you, literally a pain management dr who does nothing for pain.

This guy tried to kill me! Gave me so much with a nerve stimulater then used the wrong length lead forcing me to have a revision surgery which then led to a severe MRSA infection of the site he reopened. Ended up septic, barely alive, surgery again to remove every thing then home health for 6 months with a picc line for antibiotics, a hole in my chest that required packing daily several hospital stays for secondary infection so then finally 6 months later a skin graft to close the wound. Because of the damage to my chest I'm in constant pain in that area. All through this not ONCE did I receive a phone call from him to apologize or check in. Do Not go to this doctor, he has no review's because they erases them. He asks for you to take off All clothing and get in a gown to asses you (pain management should never ask this of you!) and is very crud to patients along with all his staff. Very unprofessional Doctor and staff and perverted, when my mother was asked to take off her clothing I told her to get her belongings and we were leaving. I being a mental health worker went straight over to what was said was risk Managment and made a complain. Then found out they had not even followed up on the complain. Do Not see this doctor alone! For starters he never once inquired about my previous surgeries or the extent of my injuries. Secondly he decided with no reason given to discontinue my current successful care plan that was implemented by one of the top sports doctors in the nation. He provided no replacement care plan specific to my accident/ knee joint replacement at only 27 years old and decades of surgeries. None. Finally, as if the entire appointment had not been enough of a shock, his last comment was a cruel joke about my disability. His nurse was standing there and heard the entire thing. This man is not only a joke of a doctor but even more of a joke of a human being. The first thing he said to my mother in law was that she was fat. She is there to see him because she is in a lot of pain from Shingles and that is the first thing he says??? Makes me sick to my stomach. After reading his reviews from multiple sites I guess that’s just him. A mean mean person. I hope when he needs a doctor he gets one just like him! I will be telling EVERYONE how bad he is and to stay away!

Dr. Menard all but harassed my poor elderly father, immediately accusing him of wanting pain medications, which my father kept trying to tell him he did not want. He clearly assumes all patients come in for the same reason. In front of both my mother and father he repeatedly stated; "If you even live that long." We were there to inquire about spinal stimulation that was recommended by his surgeon. He did not even give us the chance. They were charged $175 and left discouraged and humiliated
