Dr. Ramzi M Shaqareq

I have been seeing Dr. Shaqareq twice a year for approx. 7 years and he is totally professional and never too rushed to discuss care.

DO NOT GO TO THIS PRACTICE! To begin with, I was astounded that the receptionist was not wearing a mask and a patient was allowed to enter with his mask under his chin. Secondly, the doctor sent his office manager in to the examining room to see us WITHOUT A MASK to tell us that the doctor would not see my son because he has Cerebral Palsy and that I needed to see someone who specialized in CP. My son is 26 and has been seeing pulmonologists in New York (where we used to live) and I have never heard of any of them "specializing" in cerebral palsy. They specialize in lung disease, which is what he has in addition to CP. This practice puts its patients at risk and obviously is not highly qualified. If you want quality healthcare, go elsewhere. Felt that I got the best possible treatment and owe my life to the doctor and staff! I might not be alive if The doctor didn’t listen and insist I go to the Hospital and follow his diagnosis and recommended treatment! Very caring and concerned! Highly recommended!

Fabulous staff and service. Prompt, professional, compassionate, friendly, and supportive care. Easy location and parking. The whole team made my experience very smooth and pleasurable.

I switched to Dr. Shaqareq after coming to see him for a second opinion and was very impressed by his knowledge, care, and overall positive attitude. Busy practice but the staff handle it very well.

This office does not follow CDC protocol for preventing the spread of COVID. The receptionist and office manager did not wear masks and patients who do not wear masks properly or social distance are not asked to do so. This practice puts the health of its patients at risk.

Very professional and helpful doctor and nice staff.

Dr.Shaqareq is very knowlegeable with managing sleep apnea and has done a great job in helping me manage my sleep apnea.

I have been seening Dr. Shauq for about two years he and his staff have always treated me with the upmost respect they have been caring and concerned always I do believe if you want respect you must show respect for others

My mother had an amazing experience with Dr. Shaqareq. She went in for COPD and he was very thorough. She also said he had exceptional bedside manner.

I have had the pleasure of speaking with Dr. Ramzi M. Shaqareq, he has a big personality and is very knowledgeable in internal medicine and pulmonary disease. As a pre-med student he gave me the insight of what it’s like to be a doctor, the good stuff and the rough stuff. If you want a doctor who’s not going to beat around the bush, make an appointment! He is a doctor that will tell you what you need to hear, prepare yourself however, because what you need to hear and what you want to hear may differ! Overall Dr. Shaqareq is a 5*! I was beyond impressed with my experience at this doctor’s office. My first contact with Dr. Shaqareq and I was completely blown away by how helpful and kind he was and how fast he was at getting back to me! My appointment ran on time, Dr. Shaqareq was really knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable throughout the appointment! I would highly recommend this doctor.

I was referred to Dr. Shaqareq to have a bronchoscopy procedure. The procedure, was described as a rather challenging one due to the location of the nodule. Dr. Shaqareq performed a procedure that was as close to pain-free as I could imagine. Although the suction felt quite weird, the level of discomfort was much less than most dental work. Dr. Shaqareq was patient, thorough and efficient, explaining every step of the process, and he did an excellent job. I highly recommend him, and although I do not expect to have more bronchoscopies done, I would not hesitate to use him for other medical purposes.

This was the best doctor experience I have had in a long time. I would love to have him around if I ever get sick again. The Doctor had been busy but still took the time to make me feel like I was the only patient there. He made me feel like I was the first patient of the day. I loved visiting and if I need their service again I know I will be welcomed.

My experience with Dr. Shaqareq was rather interesting. He does not like a patient that asks to many questions. He has a short fuse and when I questioned him on some of his statements, he lost it. He said that he would not treat me and stormed out of the office yelling. This may have been the first real instance where I found a doctor that thought he was GOD! I as a patient know my body and what I tell the doctor should be considered. When the doctor thinks he knows me/my body after a quick review of my office forms, I must question his assumptions. A good doctor would further explain his/her assumptions in a manner to help the patient understand. The 5-10 minutes we had together was the worst doctor experience I have ever had in my 72 years.

I have always been able to talk to the doctor and get my problems resolved. Coming here is like dealing with trusted family. Would never consider changing doctors.

Excellent experience with my medical care. The entire experience was smooth. People here are very familiar with all the processes, procedures, and required documents. I really appreciate the professional and medical skills that the doctor has.

Dr Shaqareq has a very condescending attitude. He berated my husband and belittled him repeatedly. My husband has some memory issues but did not need to be treated so rudely. What happened to the Hippocratic Oath to do no harm? You Dr Shaqareq harmed him repeatedly. He’s old and he’s sick. You dropping a bomb and telling him he needed a lung transplant like he needed an aspirin did not go over well. You have the bedside manner of an alley cat.

My experience is that office is very positive. The physician is very caring and knowledgeable, he always has something to offer you to help with your disease. The staff are very skilled and professional.

This doctor has the WORST bedside manner and treats his patients horribly. The office is very unorganized. The left doesn’t know what the right is doing. Communication is every aspect was HORRIBLE!!!I do NOT reccommend to anyone. They don’t care about their patients and are all about money and NO fOLLOW THRU blaming everyone else!!! Would give 0 stars if it was an option. I was refused a script for a nebulizer multiple times regardless of the fact I was having difficulty breathing and my rescue inhaler wasn't sufficient enough to help me where a neb treatment would have. I was told I "only have mild asthma" before AND after a faulty PFT test. The clip continued to come off my nose during testing which to a competent doctor would render the results of the PFT inconclusive, this info was pointed out to him but again I was told I only have mild asthma. My PCP had me come in as an emergency favor and got me the proper help and told me it was a good idea to ditch this guy. BTW, I have Moderate Persistent Asthma with recurring bouts of Bronchitis. Just literally abused by his office staff. The nurse slammed the door on us in the office. Husband is very ill and unfornately we are at their mercy. But....The Dr. seems very smart, caring and wanting to help my husband

The Doctor and staff has helped me a lot trying to deal with multiple issues. My insurance has made me jump through a lot of hoops. They have gone above and beyond to assist me to get the medical treatment I needed from my insurance. The doctor is thorough and put me on very effective medication. Absolutely fantastic! Always friendly and accommodating, and they really knows his business.

I recommend Dr. Shaqareq highly. I have been a patient of his practice since I moved to Florida seven years ago. He spends time with me, and explains things thoroughly.

Found Dr. Shaqareq at that office to be rude, arrogant and negligent. Shows no compassion or concern for me when I visited.

My overall experience at that practice was extremely positive. The doctor is very skilled, and professional, and always has a positive attitude; that made me feel better and confident that I'm in good hands.

Dr. Shqareq has been taking care of my husband for the past seven years. He is very good at what he does, and provides excellent care and compassion. He clearly knows his stuff and always up to date and has something to offer when you need him. Everybody at that office treats patients with great respect.

- confused one of my meds with some random one and then tried to play it off - without bluntly saying it, told me that my current treatment plan for OSA was wrong and my previous MD and i were both idiots... treatment has been working perfect for the last 1.5 years - told me if i fall asleep during the day, to just stop. What?! - told me i needed to get off of my antidepressant that's been working amazingly for the past 15 years. And then questioned my diagnosis. - condescending

I would give them ZERO stars if I could. Their poor treatment of my neighbor was disgusting. The doctor ignored her issues and his staff was worse. They took 6 weeks to forward her medical records knowing she was having issues breathing! Lucky for her, her cardiologist recommended a new pulmonary doc.
