Dr. Johnson was very attentive and explained things very well.

We'd very nice . Really wasn't in with him long but was reassuring after viewing MRI and xrays.

I would recommend Dr. Johnson to anyone. He cared about how I was feeling and is willing to help you figure out what's wrong and the best way to go about it. I finally feel like I'm getting the help I need to start feeling better!

His staff is also very professional and eager to be helpful. They make sure everything is done right, very thorough. Dr. Johnson performed my neck surgery and I was very satisfied with the results. Professional from start to finish.

It was a ph call visit at his office so far at the beginning he made me feel comfortable

Dr Johnson was kind and caring as well as very thorough. He went above and beyond to give me suggestions for some other issues as well as a great plan for treatment of my sciatica. As a nurse myself, I can’t say enough about him, but he exceeded my expectations as a patient.

I had the pleasure of meeting with Dr. R. Johnson the other day. I found the staff to be incredibly kind to me. As well as attentive to details. Although Dr. Johnson wasn't able to help me. I would still like to recommend him for others to see.

Everyone was friendly and listened intently. I will definitely refer my family and friends if they are ever in need of this service.

Dr. Johnson is a gem. He is courteous, knowledgeable and he isn't afraid to smile, which can also be said of his surgical team (except for one nurse.) The rating would be higher for him except for the Neuroscience Groups' over zealous stance regarding the use of opioids. It caused me (71-year-old) to cancel back surgery with them. Now I still live with the pain and they think that they have saved the life of one more hypochondriac. Dr. Johnson is a gem. Very knowledgeable and put me at ease about the procedure.

He always listens to my concerns and addresses them so I can understand. He is a fantastic doctor who knows what he's doing. Would definitely recommend him to anyone!

Dr. Johnson is the most compassionate and caring neurosurgeon out there. I 100% trust and his opinion and his thought process. He has done 4 surgeries on me and my trust in him has never wavered. He genuinely has my health and well-being at the Forefront.

He describes my situation and gives me choices for treatment and I get a say in what the next step will be. He’s very caring with his patients.

Do not recommend. Failed back surgery and then Johnson failed to see what second surgeon did from Johnson’s own mri scans. Instead he kept insisting on referring me to pain management team to mask my pain vs finding source of pain a year after surgery. I dealt with this for a year before convincing him to refer my case to another practice.

Dr Johnson is a very good doctor I had him on an emergency brain tumor & I am greatful for all his help & knowledge & he took care of me right away!

When Dr. Johnson reviewed my MRI and informed me that he could fix my S1-L5 herniated disc, I was overwhelmed with relief. His calmness and professionalism gave me hope. My pain level at the first appointment was a 10. I had surgery on Thursday, Dec. 27. Since my surgery, I have been going to PT and stretching at home. I just went to my 6-week follow-up visit with Dr. Johnson. When he asked me how I was doing, my response was, "The surgery was life changing!" Would I recommend Dr. Johnson? Yes!

Excellent doctor.

I was in a great deal of pain and the surgery recommended was very major. Dr Johnson walked through the procedure with me and put my mind at ease . Nine months later after seven vertebrae being fused and much work being done through a nine hour surgery, I am pain free and extremely happy that I had the surgery and that Dr. Johnson was my surgeon. Everyone in the Neuroscience clinic has Belen great and I would recommed them to anyone.

Dr. Johnson was very informative and easy to communicate with. Completely removed the horrible pain I had. Hospitalization and rehab took longer than projected, but was worth it.

Dr. Johnson has allowed me to go from little quality of life to be able to look forward to a more fulfilling and rewarding quality of life, with his expertise my hope of being able to have a greater ability of mobility without the use of assistance from various medical equipment that I used to depend on and needed for many years. I have recommended dr. Johnson to other people. I am walking again with minimum pain after many years of having terrible leg pain. It hasn't always been easy having to go through two major back surgeries but now feel like a new person thanks to Dr. Johnson.

I had back surgery in Dec. 2016. This was successful but still had nerve pain. I could not walk on my right foot. Dr. Johnson recommended the nerve stimulater implant. This has given me back my life

Awesome doctor, did wonders for my disc / neck issues

I have worked with Dr. Johnson and his team for three years. They listen to me trust my input. He works very closely with Dr. Carl, my pain management team to provide care until they can get to the cause and solution to reducing and eliminating ongoing pain that I have had for five years. The two doctors felt I was a candidate for the NEVRO unit which has provided immense relief from my back pain.

Dr. Johnson was very thorough and professional.. The entire staff is awesome and very patient with all the phone calls & questions.

Other Drs had told me the pain was in my head. Dr. Johnson listened to me, actually looked at the MRI and walked me through exactly what was going on in my back. I was in 24/7 constant pain and burning in my leg for several years. The day after the surgery I was no longer in pain. No more burning. Dr. Johnson gave me my life back.

Completely botched the microdiscectomy. Had to go in to clean up his work 2 other times. No concern about my health. Got staph infection. Would not let him work on my dog!
