My experience with Dr. Das was about 50/50. On the one hand, she was the first person to diagnose me with seizures. On the other hand, she attributed them to stress which did not make sense to me as I would experience these events while relaxed and was not experiencing much stress at the time. The best thing she did was refer me to an epileptologist.

Dr. Das figured out the underlying reason for several issues that I have faced over a period of years. I am amazed at how quickly she identified what was wrong- it was confirmed by a MRI and bloodwork. My condition is rare, so it is even more impressive.

I was very skeptical of Dr. Das due to the reviews, but our experience was good. My father presented with increasing inability to walk and feel his hands; Dr. Daas was able to take him in within a week, where others neurologists were taking weeks to months. She only does Telehealth, but was able to evaluate him and order the tests we were hoping for, which eventually led to the getting the treatment needed. She also advocated to get him into a hospital(along with another neurologist) as direct admit because of the severity of his case, probably saving him from losing the use of his legs and arms. I am eternally grateful to Dr. Das for her intervention.

Rani Das is an incredibly competent, knowledgeable doctor, I trust her and believe she really knows what she's talking about. The way the practice is run, however, is what I have the greatest issue with. It feels like your health issues are not a high priority here, and that your issues will be addressed whenever they feel like getting around to it. I've multiple times been told to schedule for 2 months out for a follow-up appointment after being given new medications when I could really be seen after 2-3 weeks. I've also had them tell me to resend documents needed in order to schedule blood work that, come to find out, were already received over a week ago, and I would never had known if I hadn't called them on three separate occasions over the week. Overall, she is a great neurologist but you will have to be constantly pestering her office if you actually want anything done quickly. There seem to be quite a few negative reviews, but even from my first appointment with Dr. Das, she has exceeded my expectations. She was incredibly attentive to my complaints and took the time to get a complete picture of me as a whole prior to suggesting a treatment plan.

I made an appointment with Dr. Das a couple weeks ago. I was given the option of a 3:00 or 4:00 appointment. Since I work until 3:00, I chose the 4:00. Her office called me today to see if I could come in at 3:00. I said I couldn't because I'll still be at work. At the earliest, I could arrive between 3:15-3:30. They wouldn't allow it so my appointment got cancelled. I found out later it's because she wanted to leave early for the day. If that was the case, why did they offer me a 4:00 appointment in the first place? I am very disappointed. I made an appointment with Dr. Das a couple weeks ago. After 6+ years of chronic pain, multiple surgeries, and new symptoms manifesting I was told to see a neurologist. Dr. Das told me I needed to "spend time in nature and appreciate myself, download the app her office developed, and take vitamins." I was floored at the complete lack of actual medical advice I was given. It was a complete waste of my time and pushed back the hope of getting any answers for why my extremities feel like they're on fire. I'm still in constant pain but luckily have an appointment at a different clinic soon. I advise anyone who wants actual medical advice to go somewhere else. If you're looking for a doctor who simply just reads off WedMD during your visit, you found the place. Easily one of the worst doctors I've ever seen. Doesn't care about you or your problems and spends less than 2 minutes with you. When you ask her questions, she literally reads off her screen as if she's reading off the internet. It's quite pathetic and laughable. Also, as a side note, it took the office A WEEK to fill the prescriptions she prescribed me - A WEEK!!! Imagine having migraines and needing your prescriptions asap. This is not how patients should be treated. Was relieved to get in quickly with no referral needed. No problems parking. Staff was professional and pleasant, as was Dr Das. Not an unusually long wait time. RX was ready from my pharmacy before I got home; tests arranged for and everything. I am deducting one star from my review as I was charged a co-pay again when I came in for my test results. Never happened before with any other dr. She discussed my tests and when I got home and read what was printed out for me, I found discrepancies between what was said and what was in writing. I have been a patient of Dr. Rani Das since May 17, 2017. I can truly say for the last three years she has shown compassion and empathy in her efforts to find a solution for my chronic migraines. The staff was great, but Dr. Das is biased & orders unnecessary sleep tests. Took my 23 month old daughter to the appointment which was not ideal but necessary. After waiting 40 minutes, my pre-nap child was energetic. Dr. Das observed her for 30 seconds & diagnosed care taker syndrome...extremely insulting. Explained to her I already saw an ENT and had blood work done to rule out other possibilities. Repeatedly told her my stress level is down at least 50% since I stopped working full time (symptoms began while I was working). I did not believe that my onset of vertigo, nerve pain, freezing hands/feet, ocular migraines, memory fog, etc was a result of being a stay at home mom. She ordered a sleep study, MRHAS and EEG. Told her I didn’t have sleep issues & she said my husband might be able to help me understand I was having sleep issues and that getting a PART-TIME JOB could help alleviate care take syndrome.Wow. What would Dr. Das diagnosed if I had not brought my child??

I called early in the afternoon, stressed the importance of my wife getting the required medication and Dr Das didn't even bother to contact us! I'm considering a lawsuit as we were forced to go to the ER to get medicine when her seizure hit and the doctor prescribed the wrong medication. It's unbelievable that she didn't care enough to get back to us when my wife had a massive seizure due to Dr. Ras' prescription.

I had been to four neurologist and a pain specialist to get help with a chronic neurological condition. Dr. Das was able to diagnose and treat almost immediately. I cant say enough positive about her skills. I highly recommend her.

Medical Assistant doesn't know how to administer blood test or that you must fast for complete metabolic profile. The doctor doesn't listen. If you have neurological issues you are going to have way better quality of life in a state like Colorado. Most neurologists in Texas are in the stone age of medicine

I am giving one star after I called thier after ours Med Link Center on 8-20-17 to report side effects to a high dosage supplement I was prescribed by Dr. Das. The first person I spoke to at Med Link Denise told me Dr. Das would call me in 30 mins and she would check back to make sure. Dr. Das never called back. So I called again and got Denise again and let her know Dr. Das still hasn't called. Denise told me she would contact Dr. Das again and call me back to assure she called me back and I told her okay. Denise me back in 25mins asked if Dr. Das called and I advised her no Dr. Das still has not called. After speaking with Denise she placed me on hold to contact Dr. Das and she came back stating she couldn't even reach Dr. Das! I could write more but to sum up my review Dr. Das never called me back and I WAS one of her patients. Any provider that I pay a co pay to see that offers a after hours contact center to report medical issues, side effects and etc and the provider them self can't be reached and they never call back after a message is left is UNPROFESSIONAL! No one at Med Link has any explanation as to why Dr. Das never called me back either but they have my correct phone number. This shows me that the provider does not care about your well being only your co pay money. I will be searching for another provider. Future patients just be aware if you suffer from any side effects from a medication that is prescribed by Dr. Das and you call Med Link to report it after hours when the side effect occurs she may not call you back. Dr. Das is an outstanding physician. We are moving our healthcare to Austin from Houston. I was under the care of a Baylor Medical School Neurologist considered the best in her field in Houston. Dr. Das is her peer. Outstanding thorough, caring, outstanding communicator. Very best recommendation possible.

Dr. Das treats holistically and thoroughly investigates for the cause of an issue. have been seeing Dr. Das for about 2 years for chronic migraines. Even though she suspected I was having migraines, she ordered multiple tests to make sure nothing more serious or physiological was going on. I really appreciate that. She not only prescribes western medicines, but also recommends vitamin regiments and therapies such as breathing techniques and yoga. I love her holistic view of the body.
