Had 2 follow up visits. Discussed my surgery procedure and follow up care. He took plenty of time to answer all of my questions. I received a copy of my x-rays and reports. His staff, especially Eilene was extremely helpful. I would definitely recommend this group.

I had today my last visit to Dr. Gosthe one year after my right hip replacement, and year and a half after my left knee replacement, I am so grateful because my surgeries were performed with professionalism and a wide knowledge of the matter that affect my mobility. I recommend without a doubt His service.

If not for Gosthe I would not be able to walk well again and enjoy my future with my family and loved ones. He and his staff treated me as if I were a member of the family. I am gratefully indebted.

My mother had knee replacement surgery on both knees about 10 years ago ( the surgery was NOT done by Dr. Gosthe). Over the years she developed an infection in her right knee which caused her leg to swell and developed a nasty bruise on the back of her knee. We saw Dr Gosthe and I didn’t have much confidence in him because of all the other doctors that came before him that was misdiagnosed. In came Dr.Gosthe (who was recommended to us by her primary care doctor). He was very professional, patient, confident, has a sense of humor and passionate about what he does. Most importantly, he listened to our concerns, our fears, he didn’t talk down to my mother and he didn’t make any promises, but yet he was confident. Fast forward a month and 2 weeks after her knee surgery (again), my mom is doing great and we owe that to Dr. Gosthe. Thank you from my heart and my mom’s heart to yours. May God continue to bless you always and continue to be the best Surgeon Ever!!

I would highly recommend Dr Gosthe. He did both of my knee replacements and both operations have been a complete success. He was honest about all the hurdles that were ahead and took care of my most difficult case.

Dr. Gosthe and his assistant Allison made me feel welcomed and valued. They knew I was scared with the procedure I was getting. They calmed me and made sure I was treated and able to leave comfortable. They are not only incredible medical professionals they are also incredible humans. They truly like people!

Dr. Gosthe is kind and patient and a master of his craft. I was out of bed ambulating the same day as my anterior total hip replacement surgery and every day since. I haven't needed to use a walker or cane since the first week of surgery and have had minimal pain. Great staff. Very thorough, professional and leave no stone unturned.

Dr. Gosthe has got to be the best orthopedic surgeon I have ever encountered. His ability to repair my right hip is complete perfection. My hip was completely macerated. But he and his team repaired it on October 12, 2021 and I am now walking without a cane or any help. I was not even able to get therapy due to my co-pay which I could not afford and still with therapy at home on my own I am walking after only 6 weeks!! Having been in healthcare I understand the importance of providing compassionate and outstanding care to patients. I had a partial knee replacement in July of 2021 at Holy Cross and Dr Raul Gosthe was my physician. Dr Gosthe explained the procedure, answered all of my questions and preformed the surgery with outstanding results. I did a lot of research for a Doctor for my first total hip replacement, I am very impressed with Dr. Gosthe's credentials. I had my first replacement surgery with him on October 18, 2021 and am very pleased with the results. I was driving within a week, back to work in two weeks. I consider him to be a very excellent Doctor, listens and answers all my questions, surgery went very well, no problems at all, during or after. I am going to schedule my second hip replacement in the coming months if not weeks. I highly recommend him

Dr. Gosthe performed a 2nd hip revision (another surgeon did my original hip replacement and 1st revision) on my left hip on March 23, 2021. He did an amazing job ! Prior to the revision i had grinding and squeaking and i could not move about very well. Since the surgery i have no more of any of that! After seeing another orthopedic doctor for hip pain 3 or 4 times, a friend of mine told me about Holy Cross Hospital where she had a hip replacement done. I called and got an appointment the next day with Dr. Gosthe. He took x-rays and explained everything to me thoroughly and scheduled surgery for a new hip. I am EXTREMELY happy that I chose him for my surgery. It's been only 1.5 months and I feel like NEW! I also recommended him to a friend who saw him and was also extremely satisfied. A friend of mine recommend I see Dr. Delgado for a second opinion on my previous hip replacement. He recommended a revision and Dr. Gosthe. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Gosthe. He has given me a new lease on life by correcting a problem I encountered from a previous hip replacement. I had a limp which resulted in back pain and assistance from others on routine matters. He is extremely easy to speak with and shows total attention to your needs. I have never felt rushed when attending my appointments. Amazing doctor and fantastic, supportive staff. Everyone was incredibly thoughtful and Dr Gosthe did amazing work.

After seven weeks, I am fully back to normal activity after a full knee replacement. Working with Dr. Gosthe was a pleasure. X-rays were taken on site and read at my office visits, making my life much easier. In addition, his office staff could not be more accommodating. On a scale of 1 to 10 I give him a 20!

Great job on my total anterior hip replacement. 3 years of pain gone almost in a day. Walking without a walker in less than 1.5 weeks. Quality of life is amazing, all thanks to Dr Gosthe, and his wonderful office staff.

After Having hip surgery that was not performed correctly and spending more than 9 months in constant pain I was at my wits end. Then I was referred to Dr. Gosthe by my Physical Therapists as a surgeon who is known to do reconstruction of failed surgeries. And Thank God, we were able to have him redo the failed operation. Dr. Gosthe gave me my life back !!! He is smart, honest and caring. I was truly blessed to have him at this time in my life and to have him put an end to the pain. My wife had a blotched surgery that resulted in her always being in pain. It was so bad that she could not sleep in her own bed but instead found herself night after night in a recliner. Our lives were put in a terrible condition. The surgeon who originally performed the surgery continued to tell us that everything was fine... Dr Gosthe, however, showed us in our first visit what was done incorrectly, and more importantly, how to fix it. A scheduled 2 hour reconstruction surgery quickly turned into a 6 hour surgery !!! Sorry Dr. Raul, it is unsatisfactory. There were no guarantees, I know you will say, but you failed to get me to the way I was before the surgery, as you said was the goal. I am now much more disabled than before. So aside from that failure, you then failed to even see me twice for requested follow-up visits. The next-to-last appointment, you rescheduled due to a "meeting" (per your assistant), then when I trudged in my walker and even saw you on my way into the new appt., another doctor appeared. It seems you don't want to even see patients that might be the slightest unhappy, to explain, re-assess, or even refer.

Dr. Gosthe replaced my hip on 1-22-2021. I am so happy I decided to have the surgery. He did an amazing job. I woke from anesthesia and the nagging pain was gone. In 2 weeks I am on my feet and almost back to normal. He is through and caring. Explains everything in detail and will answer any question you have. I highly recommend Dr. Gosthe to anyone with hip or knee problems.

I broke my femur in a circular type of break & broke the bone going into my hip. While in the hospital, Holy Cross assigned Dr. Gosthe because of the difficulty of the break & his expertise. He did a perfect job. Three months later I am on a cane, my leg is straight & I am looking forward to my normal life. I highly recommend Dr. Gosthe; I believe he is the best. His staff, Samantha, etc. are accommodating, kind, and helpful.

Dr Goste has done both my hips total. If I had another bad hip I’d let him do that one! He’s professional and gentle. Confident and I’m so glad I found him. I had a total hip replacement. He is terrific! Very professional. Good bedside manner. Doesn't rush and explains everything. Great calming influence. Can't say enough great things. I compared his advice to another highly recommended doctor and could tell immediately that Dr. Gosthe was giving me a better and more thorough diagnosis and recommendations. Great doctor. I will say doctor of first contact for your orthopedic problems. He listen to my problems that I haved with my knee and foot and referred me to the right knee and foot specialists. 67 year old male with arthritic hip. Everything went as planned. Pain was very manageable and there wasn't much need for pain pills after a few days. Was walking without cain or Walker after 10 days. No restrictions. Everything went better than expected.

Dr Gosthe is worth more than five stars!!! Great bed side manner. Listens and gives answers so that the patient understands what he is saying. All the office staff are really nice and polite. Very little waiting time to see him. So if anyone out there needs an orthopedic dr. Please make an appointment, with him, he is worth it.!!

I stumbled upon Dr. Gosthe because I had to put off a shoulder replacement. Serious... my shoulder surgeon's PA recommended Dr. Gosthe for my knee which was a bigger problem than my shoulder. Dr Gosthe and his entire team are incredible at what they do. I am 43 Y/O Male Fire Captain that had R total hip replacement. I am now 5 months since my surgery...and am extremely happy that I no longer am living with the constant pain of my right arthritic /dead hip. Prior to surgery I could not even walk the dog and was using a scooter...I am a young 71 with a high BMI. Dr. Gosthe was supportive throughout. I went out dancing recently and walk the dog several times daily.Doing my exercises and muscles are getting strong.Keeping off the 42 pounds I lost and working on the next 10.

Handsome, young and competent. Skilled surgeon with comfortable friendly bedside manner. Explains all details and answers questions thoroughly and with confidence. Shows genuine concern with gentle, grateful attitude. My brother (I am his healthcare surrogate) is a high risk patient with numerous health issues, but he followed the doctor's pre-op instructions, encountered no problems, and recovered quickly with minimal pain and escaped all risk factors. The incision is small, clean and neat. We highly recommend Dr. Gosthe. After 6 weeks my brother can walk upright like a normal human being again. Feeling so blessed.

We were immediately comfortable with Dr. Gosthe, and he was very thorough in explaining the procedure for full hip replacement. That made our confidence level very high. Dr gosthe is probably the nicest Dr. I have ever dealt with - impeccable bedside manner. He explains everything to you in terms you can understand. I just had my hip replaced two weeks ago, he actually called me the day before surgery to see if I had any questions, saw him three times in the hospital and he called me after I was discharged, amazing! I just had hip replacement,I made a call to Dr.Gosthe's office and his Secretary arranged an appointment to see him within a week,she was sweet,caring and informative. I went to my first appointment and fell so comfortable with everyone in the office. I had a horrible knee injury and thought I needed surgery but Dr. Gosthe advised that if I just did therapy I will be better sooner and will not have to suffer the recovery that it would take after surgery. I followed his advice and am grateful that I did. I am much better now! He is a very knowledgeable and compassionate doctor. I would definitely recommend him to my loved ones.
