Dr. Raymond W Deiter

This man no doubt saved my life and my daughter's life. I had a placental abruption while in labor with my youngest daughter after having a previous miscarriage. I was at the hospital and Dr. Dieter was not there yet but told the staff not to send me home again as they had done the week before. It was a good thing he did, because things drastically went into a crisis situation. That man got to the hospital so quick. It is true that he is not all touchy feely and he won't baby you. He will tell you like it is and get down to business. But when it comes down to an emergency and your life and your baby's life are in absolute jeopardy - I would never want another doctor in that room! The staff was nice but Ive known this doctor and worked with him over thirty years he is the best and has taught some of the best that are practicing now all over.

"The Butcher" is what my family, ex-coworkers, lawyers call him. I'm begging you to look elsewhere, if he botches your surgery, he will not only Not fix it, he will disappear. Unethical is one of many words.If one person reading this is saved from his knife, I've done my job. 7 years ago I had the unpleasant pleasure of choosing him as my doctor.. I didn't know I was pregnant until I was 18 weeks, and delivered at 24 weeks.. I really would have thought he would have done a few extra test, made sure everything was ok since I was so far along before I knew and nothing. I was only able to meet him once before I went into labor and was rushed to the hospital for a c section. Only to be asked if I'd like to "treat this as a miscarriage" What a horrible thing to say. My two younger brothers was delivered by him, my first son was delivered by him, and now my other son will be delivered by him in march ❤❤

I have been going to see him for approximately 20 years. And seen his associates as well. I have high regard for him and his staff.

My experience with the offices personnel in general was just ok. I think the woman who works the front desk was having a bad or something the first time I ever went there, she was on the rude side. I had been referred to this office by my PCP to get hormone replacement therapy started. Once I was called back to a room, the very first words of the nurses​ mouth was not "hi, or how are you this morning, or even I'm going to start by getting your blood pressure & temp, nope it was "when was your last pap?" I replied when I had my hysterectomy. She said "Well Dr Deiter 'likes' to do one anyway!" I'm not having any trouble that I would need a pap, plus I saw on the news or read in a magazine a couple of years ago that new research shows it is safer for women to NOT have regular paps, to only have one if there is an issue of some kind. So I tell the nurse that & she said she knows nothing about that.. so I explain that if he is going to insist I have one I can just leave now but she took it some other way than I had intended because she put her hands up as if to protect herself & says "ok, ok don't bite my head off, you can talk to him about it when he gets in here." Luckily he didn't ever come in, his PA Jennifer came in. Jennifer is an absolute sweetheart, very understanding, quite compassionate, & professional. If you choose to go here after all these bad reviews I strongly suggest that you request Jennifer. Here's my concern about Dr Deiter himself not coming in the room to see me after I had refused an unnecessary pap and the nurse saying he "likes to do one", then it seemed as if he sent Jennifer in his place since he wasn't going to get to do a pap... pervert? or not? I will leave that up to you all... As for me, I'm sticking with Jennifer who didn't require the unnecessary​ pap. If it wasn't for Jennifer, then I definitely would've given ONE ???? only! Miscommunication is my biggest problem with them. I like going here but honestly I'm getting tired of it. I had a miscarriage and was recommended to go to a hospital where they can get the information about it. I had a check up appointment on Tuesday afterwards to make sure everything is healthy and okay after what had happened. On the way to the office I get a reminder call for my ultrasound appointment for the next day. I informed the receptionist that I had a miscarriage and can no longer go to the pregnancy appointments and am headed there now for my check up after the miscarriage. She said okay sorry. So today on Friday I just got another reminder phone call about my prenatal check up. At this point I'm really aggravated because I shouldn't have to repeat myself multiple times about a situation I'd rather not have to repeat. I don't like to talk about it. So I informed the receptionist again that I can no longer make the appointments they'll need to be cancelled I'm no longer pregnant. She then asked if I was okay and I said I was just there Tuesday for my miscarriage follow up appointment. I can't go to these appointments anymore they need cancelled. I can't find elsewhere to place it, but Linzi Stewart is also a "Doctor" here. She fails to listen to patients, and gets insulted when they are not satisfied with the half-assed answers she or her cohorts give. I think she was partially angry simply because a male even wanted to discuss these things. She was very unhelpful and almost aggressive in her irritation with me. I may have been a little irritated, but was still civil in discussing my concerns with her. In addition, this place plays Christian music in the exam rooms which is disturbing considering the views many Christians have on the woman body and what they can do with it. I chose Dr. Dieter after I was told I would never be able to carry kids. He is very old fashioned, and a "wam bam thank you ma'am" kind of guy! I would NEVER want a Dr. that would want to beat around a bush to tell me the truth about what was going on, or what i may have been doing wrong. Two kids later, and I would definitely go for a third or a forth if it was possible. My sister has chose him as well, and fixing to have her second with him. I recommend him for any women need! I have seen a lot of bad reviews about being upset about not seeing Dr. Deiter regularly, and only seeing the PA. This happened to me too, however, I actually thought the PA did a better job at explaining each pregnancy milestone to me. She was very thorough. I do feel that their nurses won't necessarily call you back when you have a medical problem and have to leave a message. Sometimes they claim to never have gotten the voicemail, when you have left one. Other than that, the staff seems friendly and professional. Do not go there unless you want to wait over an hour past your appointment time only to go back to be seen and hear all the staff talk/giggle about patient's charts at the nurses stand which is near all of the rooms. Completely unprofessional! I 100% agree with the poor/unprofessional service comments. I actually have 3 different completely embarrassing/unprofessional stories from this office. Don't do it. Don't trust your child's future and your own to this "doctor". If there are two words that describe him, they are hateful and rude. My daughter was delivered by c section several years ago. I remember two things about the experience. First of all, they pushed VERY VERY hard on me and on her!!!!!!! I had had another c section previously by another doctor, and it was nothing like this. When my daughter was about two, she was diagnosed with Autism. She is TOTALLY NON VERBAL at age 7. I often wonder what could have caused this. Gee, I wonder what?! I have no proof though. Also when he closed my incision, he used staples intead of stitching it with surgical thread. I loved Dr. Deiter and his PA Kelly Dennis! They were both great and I had seen both of them through my entire pregnancy. Very nice and considerate all of the issues I was going through and helped me all the way. He delivered me when I was younger and now he delivered my son.
