Good caring people

I had a great visit with Dr. Balotescu this morning as my new primary care physician. He spent much more time with me than I expected and allowed me to cover everything with him from nutrition to a shoulder pain to discussing medications. The office was very clean, professional and I really liked the practice.

Dr. B is a great doctor that offers alternatives to drugs for treatment and is respectful of my time unlike another dr I just got rid of

I came as a new patient, just need to establish myself with a physician. Dr. Balotescu was very good. We went over my history and he was a good listener. He didn't shotgun me with tests that are not needed at this point just because I am new to his practice.

I had an amazing first visit with Dr. Balotescu! He has helped me make necessary lifestyle changes that will improve my quality of life for years to come. It was great to feel heard and understood. I highly recommend this physician.

I could not have been more happy. Everything from the check in process to the electronic registration to the basic height and weight and blood pressure measurements to the phlebotomist to the doctor to the checkout was fabulous. I told the staff that they really had a very well run office and was probably one of the best office experience I’ve ever had and I’ve probably been to 10 different family practice doctors in the 30 years that I’ve lived in Jacksonville..

Great place for personal attention and heath care!

Good first experience! The staff and Dr. B were kind and helpful.

It was my first medical visit with Dr. Razvan Balotescu. It was an outstanding experience. Knowledgeable,professional, caring but probably the most important thing was the fact that he took the time to answer all my question and I thank him for that. Wonderful experience indeed.

Dr. Balutesco is just an amazing doctor. God bless his life because we need more doctors like him. He is very focused on giving his patients the best treatments available and always recommends the best specialist. My appointment was made with this office by my PCP, since there were no appointments at his office. An in-office appointment was made for the next day due to my chronic cough. When I arrived, the receptionist claimed she had been "trying to reach me." I checked my phone and the call came in one half hour before my appointment! She stated she needed to change it to a telehealth appointment DESPITE the fact the doctor was there and the time set up for me. Balotescu REFUSED to see me! I find this behavior unprofessional, rude and disgraceful. I am a senior citizen on Medicare! I filed a grievance with FloridaBlue and plan to file another! They expect me to give them 24 hours to change an appointment but clearly, not me. My appointment was made with this office by my PCP, since there were no appointments at his office. The WORST experience. Came in as a new patient to establish care, previously told that I could see the nurse due to the wait to see the Doctor being long, sure no problem! I arrived 20 minutes early, even though I completed my paperwork online. I then sat for OVER AN HOUR past my appointment time in the waiting area. I waited patiently but it became obvious that patients who arrived long after me were being called back before I was. When I asked the receptionist what was going on I was told they were waiting for a room to free up. A ROOM TO FREE UP, after I just watched 5 people go in. The audacity to tell me they needed a room yet there were obviously free ones. I spent a total of 5 minutes with the nurse. Absolutely worst experience and I will NEVER be back. The WORST experience. Dr. B is awesome. Very attentive during his visits, you never feel that he is rushing you. Focuses on your total health (diet, exercise, etc.). Lucky to have found him. Have referred three family members to him.

Dr. Balutescu is the best family Dr. I ever had, without a doubt. I am 85 years old already and have seen many FMDs in my life time. He is tops/

Dr. Balotescu is great. He really listens, has a great attention to detail and spends an good amount of time during appointments.

If I could give him 10 stars, I would. Finally a Dr. that cares, spends time with and gets to the root of the problem.......He's not into masking symptoms. I would and have recommended him often.
