Lovely Doctor, will come again

Good thorough visit-clear what is needed

My primary care sent me to this practice in September for an eye exam since I was recently diagnosed with diabetes. I spent almost 3 hours at the office. After one test, I was sent back to the waiting room for over an hour and then when I was called back to the exam room I spent 45 minutes waiting for the doctor. Several times I got up to leave and the staff apologized and said the doctor was a little behind. When the doctor came in she never apologized or anything and asked the same questions as the tech and attempted to try to read over my information quickly while she had the tech show me videos. I was livid and frustrated. My most recent issue is that I broke my glasses completely and I wanted a copy of my prescription and information in the exam (from Sept 2022). I have left at least three messages for someone to call me. No one has. One day I spoke to someone who told me that I could come by and get a copy. I stopped by the office on December 30. The receptionist told me that she couldn't print it out because the doctor had not signed off on it. I didn't know what that meant. She said she could try to have the tech print it. I waited about 10 minutes then she told me that the tech was busy. I asked if someone could call me back. No one called back so I left another message yesterday. So I guess I am going to have to go somewhere else to get an exam and glasses because I have not glasses right now. This is an urgent matter and I can't get in touch with anyone in that office.

Dr Bovelle was very pleasant during my examination. She explained all procedures to me in terms that I understood.

Called the office over 15 times from 9 to 10 am and it would keep going to voicemail so I showed up. Was referred to them by Bowie ER due to having metal in eye which needed to be taken out the day after ER visit as an emergency. When I arrived the receptionist was on her phone and I was told they were unable to see me today, also they were unable to help me in finding another place that would be able to take metal out for me. Dr. Renee Bovelle is a great doctor, however her staff needs improvement. I have left voicemails to retrieve my prescriptions and no one bothered to return my calls. I have had staff hang up the phone on me and screen my calls. It should not be this hard to receive good customer service. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to this office and advise others to make sure the quality of service you receive matches the quality of care. Dr. Bovelle is on her game. I had cataract surgery on both eyes and could not be happier with the results. I would highly recommend her service.

This was my first time here at Envision. I like the staff. Very professional. I did not like not being able to have internet with my cellophane with an 1:5 wait. Please fix this issue.

Dr. Bovelle is a physician with impressive credentials, but most important, she has the utmost of integrity, skill, and compassion.

I saw Dr. Bovelle today as a new patient. Check in was smooth. Her assistant was the best. Her assistant explained every test that was being performed. Dr. Bovelle was very nice and explained the results of the test when she came in to see me. My appointment went so well that my husband and daughter are both scheduled to see her the doctor. I recommend this office if you're looking for a personable and professional atmosphere from a doctors office. I saw Dr. Bovelle today as a new patient. Check in was smooth. I was recommended to Dr. Bovelle by my Brother-in-law. It took 2.5 hours for my appointment to be completed. I saw Dr. Bovelle for less then 10 minutes and spent most of my time waiting. Very disappointed in the service for the amount of time that I spent in the office. I wouldn't recommend this practice to anyone.

Love the staffing.

I have been a patient with dr. Bovelle for many years. Dr. Bovelle always take the time to listen to my concerns about my eyes. She also always have the time to ask about how I am doing.

Everyone is very professional and they know their job(s) very well! Dr. Bovelle is awesome! She keeps ensuring that I am doing fine, prior to, during and after the cataract procedures! Laura and Katrina are excelent and everyone works together well. I will recommend this office to anyone who needs cataract surgery!! For the first time in 13 years, I can see clearly! Bless you all.

The doctor was MAGNIFICENT as was her med student.

Great work puts patients first very accommodating I am very pleased with service, keep up the good work.

My appointment was scheduled for 11:00. I was called back at 11:25...vision screening then dilation, only to wait 30 minutes for the Dr. She was in with me for 2 minutes. No apology for the wait or anything. Horrible customer service!

Awful experience. Wait time is totally unexceptionable and one of the receptionist is very unprofessional. After waiting over an hour for my scheduled appointment, I was skipped. The receptionist was so busy talking to a co-worker about her personal business, that she forgot to give the technician my chart. Then woman never apologized and never showed any sense of care or concern. I had to cancel that appointment is because I to go back to work. Break time wasted. I will never go back. Awful experience. Beautiful office. Excellent corneal specialist with impeccable credentials and training. Friendly and patient staff.

I was very disappointed with my experience at this office. I arrived within the grace period of my appointment with my two young children and I did not get out of there until approximately two hours later. The assistant dilated my eyes and told me 10-15 mins. and she would check on me and she did not. I had to reach out and Dr. Boevelle told me it takes about 40-50mins. and I said I did not have that kind of time after sitting here for about 1.5hrs. already. Plus, the last straw was the condescending attitude when I had questions and it felt like we were a bother to her. Overall, It was not a family friendly environment. The efficiency and consideration of my time especially with two young children made it my last time and I would definitely not recommend this place or Dr. Bovelle to anyone. I got to the office 35 min before the appointment ( 9:55am for a 10:30am appt). I assumed I would complete the paperwork and be ready for the appointment. It is now 11:35am and I have yet to be seen by the Dr. Not only, have I missed a good portion of work. My daughter, who is waiting with me, will probably get to school in the afternoon or not at all. This is the first time at this facility and may be my last. I am disappointed with the efficiency and customer service. Especially, since I provide initial patient information to make the process easier. If I knew how long this would take, I would have never made an appointment. Dr. Bovelle is the most caring, compassionate, and accomplished ophthalmologist, I've ever met. I'd recommend her to anyone, and everyone.

Love this group of professionals. Great staff, clean facilities and very nice and polite service. So good, it sometimes gets too crowded in waiting room because of the high demand for great patients service! Keep up the good work guys!
