Wow! That's sums up the amazing experience I had with Dr. Clifton and the gO Orthopedics team! In training for the Boston Marathon, I reached out with an injured foot to gO for help in getting me to the start and finish lines. The caring, professionalism, knowledge, understanding of my needs, and treatment as a patient by Dr. Clifton and all the staff was remarkable. The most EXCELLENT care I've ever received in the world of Orthopedic Care. Dr. Griggs is exceptional within his profession and has the most kind and professional bedside manner. Clinical appointments have always been on-time and I've never left without a question discussed and answered. The office staff are phenomenal and kind. He performed surgery on me, and the pre-op, surgery & post-op care exceeded all of my expectations. I could not recommend gO Orthopedics enough! Unnecessarily costing me a ski season. Saw Dr. Clifton for a complete fibular fracture. Not only was he rude, he completely missed the fact that the bone never joined together. Based on a single in-house x-ray, he said it was healing “just fine.” In reality, the two halves “healed” themselves as completely separate entities. 8 months post-injury I couldn’t figure out why all the pain when trying to return to my “normal” activities. Finally saw another doctor who immediately ordered an MRI and CT scan (go figure!) and found out that my fibula could not possibly be any more broken. After walking around on a broken leg for 8 months, now I’m in need of surgery. Just as the ski season kicks off. How do you actually miss that?? I can’t speak for other folks, but I’ve got a friend who was told by Dr. Clifton that he was “lying” about his back injury that happened on the job...at an establishment whose owner is good buddies with Dr. Clifton. Further tests ordered by another doc revealed fractures and a rather serious back injury requiring multiple surgeries. Others have complained about knee replacements gone bad. Saw Dr. Griggs for a shoulder injury. Found him and his staff to be very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. Very impressed and won’t hesitate to go back for further medical treatment. Well run office.

Dr. Griggs removed a tumor from the palm of my husband's hand. It was as pleasant of an experience it could be. He was always polite and kind, and he is one of the best hand surgeons in the state.

Dr Griggs treated me for a ski accident -> fractured tibia. My surgeon in Austin, who is one of the best, emphatically told me that Griggs "did a great job on your leg!"... Thank you Rhett and staff for the exceptional care.

Worst experience with an Orthopedic surgeon.

staff was unhelpful and griggs was rude and dismissive when I saw him. Wouldn't recommend.

I tore my ACL and visited Dr. Grigg's for an assessment. He and his assistant Dara were very friendly and professional. I appreciate that I saw the Dr. at my appointed time and was not left waiting. I got a diagnosis from my MRI immediately as well as a referral to a physical therapist and instructions for next steps. I found all the staff to be helpful, supportive and a great group to figure out my treatment with. I like that Dr. Grigg's is also an athlete and thinks about treatments from an athletes perspective as well as thinking holistically about his patients. If you have an orthopedic injury, I highly recommend the gO clinics in Crested Butte and Gunnison. I had a total thumb displacement with bones sticking out of the skin. Dr Griggs skillfully relocated the thumb after another doctors many attempts failed. He then performed surgery on my thumb from the associated injuries. I am very grateful! A master of the hand. And I have about 90% use of my thumb!!!

Dr. Griggs was right on time for my appointment, I did not have to wait. He was very friendly and professional during his examination. He gave me his diagnosis as well as a treatment plan and a referral to a physical therapist. I did not need surgery thankfully but I would use Dr. Griggs if I had. I will visit him again if needed. I also like that he's an athlete and comes at his treatments with that perspective. A bonus is the clinic also offers mental health therapy as it was a shock to learn my ski season was over in January so I appreciated being able to talk to a professional about how that was effecting me.

Dr. Griggs is hands down the best! He is not only an amazing surgeon but also truly cared about my outcomes, rehab time and getting back to my sports and lifestyle. An amazing doctor!

Dr Griggs is the most caring and compassionate doctor I know. My surgery was a success and all my pain is gone. I would recommend him anytime!

Dr Griggs has replaced both of my knees, repaired one shoulder of mine and operated on at least six people I know. In my experience he is a gifted surgeon. I and my friends are delighted with his work. He is also a wonderful guy who really cares about his patients and goes to great lengths to help them.

I have seen Dr. Griggs twice now and he, his assistants, and services have been outstanding! I wouldn't recommend anyone else! Thanks Doc, Max

Even though it was the first day of my ski trip, the visit to the doctor was one of my best experiences ever. He is very knowledgeable. He is professional, as is the rest of this staff, and he is good at what he does.

Dr. Griggs has done a total knee replacement and two other operations for me. I keep coming back because: they have worked out well, I feel he is a gifted surgeon, really cares about his patients, listens and does his very best (which is outstanding) for you. I cannot speak too highly of him and his practice.

I recently broke my arm while visiting the Crested Butte/Gunnison area. The level of care I received from Dr. Griggs and the entire staff at Gunnison hospital was amazing.
