had 2 surgeries done on me by Richard Blanks for “both acl’s torn in both knee’s” and after my surgeries I found out from another doctor that my acl was never torn and doctor blanks messed up my meniscus during operation and unnecessarily replaced both my acl’s for an insurance payout. I am 21 years old now and completely lost my ability to walk normally because of the trust I put in this doctor and it has been 2 years since I had those surgeries. Please save yourself and find a different doctor, I lost my sports career, my mobility, and my mother is traumatized from seeing me in this condition.

My visit with Dr Blanks went very smoothly, he explained what needs to happen in order to repair my shoulder problems. Dr Blanks was very thorough and made me feel comfortable regarding the surgery and recovery.

My regular doctor. Dr. Rosenberg ordered an MRI for me as I had a new and a different kind of discomfort in my right arm. He didn't think this was related to my previous problem but the MRI would determine how to proceed. Turns out I have a tear along with nerve and other damage to my shoulder. Dr Rosenberg referred me to Dr Blanks at the Fountain Valley office who specializes in Sports Medicine injuries. I experienced the same excellent treatment that I receive at the Anaheim office. Dr. Blanks went over the results of the MRI. gave me a copy and discussed what he thought was the best form of treatment at this time. He gave me a cortisone shot and requested authorization for physical therapy. He asked me what area was local and best for me. I gave him the name of a therapy group that I would prefer in Orange and he put in the request and hopes as I do that surgery will not have to be an option. This was a good visit and like the Anaheim office both the male and female MAs are professional and still as nice as can be. Highly recommend Platinum Orthopedic both offices. My regular doctor. I would definitely recommend doctor Blanks.He is amazing surgeon and this past vist went well I didn't had no infection on my surgery site that was my big worry.And he wanted to wait a bit more to remove my staples so my surgery site can close well completely and taking his recommendations to heart.The staff is nice and helpful.
