I have seen Dr. Grossman five or six times. He is always the same; calm and re-assuring. He is a supurb listener. There is never a rush to get me in and out. I have never thought twice about him being my go to guy for all things orthopedic. Doc finds the problem and gives me choices about how to solve the problem. Great staff members. Dr Grossman has been my Orthopedic doctor for years. Took good care of me during my very active female years and now caring for specific issues in my late 79s. Every recommendation for treatment has been ideal. Kept me from pain meds by non invasive pain management procedures

Clear explanations with good “bedside manner”

On time, gave full attention to multiple problems and successfully treated two on the spot,

I’m two months post knee replacement and I couldn’t be doing any better. I could walk easily after four days. Dr Grossman is a wonderful surgeon and a kind person. He takes the time to answer questions and explain procedures pre and post treatment. He is terrif and I recommend him to everyone.

Nothing but the highest marks for Dr Grossman and everyone at the clinic. He takes time to discuss options for your needs as well as the world in general. He is my first line of defense with anything orthopedic.

You know, you never want to see your orthopedist too often. Just saying. However, when it is absolutely positively necessary, I look forward to seeing RG! He sits down, looks directly at you in the eye, actively listens, then examines, inspires positive vibes and curative intuition. Lucky the patient who gets to see him.

Great doctor

Dr. Grossman and his staff promptly accommodated my request for an appointment for an office visit after suffering an acute ankle injury. Within 45 minutes from making the appointment I was received by staff who assisted me with the preparation of admitting forms and was quickly ushered to x-ray by friendly and competent technician. Dr. Grossman read the x-rays, diagnosed the problem, and explained it to me. We then reviewed my treatment options and a member of his staff cheerfully fitted me with a support boot. Staff then quickly helped me with checking out and discussed a follow up appointment with me. I was admitted, diagnosed, and treated by Dr. Grossman and his office in about an hour. Far better than the prospect of an emergency room experience.

Dr. Grossman has put me back together before. I now have a broken bone in my ankle and need surgery. So, once again, he has to fix me so I can walk again. He has a good sense of humor and nice bedside manner. More importantly, based on my extensive experience with him (surgery, shots, P.T.), I know Dr. Grossman can do it.

Dr. Grossman takes the time to listen to your concerns, conduct his examination of your ailing area, and explain his analysis in both medical and practical terms. He clearly cares about his patients’ wellbeing. I’m very grateful my friend referred me to Dr. Grossman.

Pleasant and efficient.

Dr. Grossman has a great sense of humor, interacts well, but more importantly, is also a careful diagnostician who offers sound medical advice. His Medical Assistant Giovanna is a great assent to Dr. Grossman - very pleasant, always helpful, and highly efficient.

The check in was quick, friendly and supportive. The Dr. Grossman is a true professional and explains my condition and the options in an understandable manner. Though I have issues, Dr. Grossman made me feel comfortable in my options and prognosis with his explanations.

Dr Grossman was careful in examining my knee, hip and foot and then explained in detail what he was able to observe from x-rays. He ordered an MRI for further examination of the foot and injected my knee with cortisone. I will have a follow-ip visit with him to discuss the MRI result and for a gel injection in the knee.

I always have complete confidence in Dr. Grossman and have often recommended him to others.

Terrific experience with Dr. Grossman and his office.

He is an excellent doctor, takes very good personal care of the patients, highly recommend him.

I would highly recommend Dr. Grossman. He was empathic, thorough, knowledgeable, informative and most of all caring. He offered follow up and clear explanations of his treatment plan. The office staff were equally efficient, attentive and caring, even in the midst of Covid -19 challenges!

Great doctor

It was excellent! Dr. Grossman did a full knee replacement on my right knee Jan. 29, 2020. My recovery is going beautifully and I am very happy about that. His pain management regime was superior, keeping my pain regulated very well without any danger of addiction. I stopped all pain medication 2 weeks ago and have only infrequent minor pain or discomfort now. He is a really good physician who listens carefully, explains things well, and really cares about his patients.

He is THE BEST. Always listens, spends lots of time to try and resolve issues.

As usual my appointment with Dr. Richard Grossman was excellent! I have led a very active life, including playing polo. I'm now 77 and through destructive ortho-arthritis I am paying the price. Dr. Grossman has rebuilt my shoulder in 1994, done a full hip replacement in 1906, helped me through 3 shoulder dislocations, and is about to do a full knee replacement. I have had superb results with each surgery and each time I've regretted not seeking treatment sooner. I have referred a number of clients to him and they too have had great treatment. One thing I really appreciate about him is: the saying goes See a surgeon and the treatment is surgery. Not so with Dr. Grossman! He utilizes a number of treatment modalities. In addition Dr. Grossman truly cares about his patients, a real boon when you need his help.

Dr. Grossman was understanding and well informed about my knee condition. Today, I am pain free.

Dr. Richard Grossman gave me wrong information, went against his own protocol and pushed me to have a very expensive (PPP) treatment that was ineffective. He first said a test was needed to check my suitability for PPP but, after WOSM failed to get it done, said it didn’t matter because the success rate was over 90%, even for unsuitable people. I suggested a cheaper and better-known treatment but he dismissed it, claiming success was much lower. I later learned from the PPP patenting company that success was 50% for unsuitable people, not “over 90%.” In my experience, money has always played a crucial role in WOSM doctors’ decisions. My first bill after treatment had a fat red arrow with text saying I’d have to deal with bill collectors if I didn’t pay. And I got phone calls with the same message (for WOSM, you’re “guilty until proven innocent”). I recently found out I had overpaid for some services three years ago and was never told. Too bad there’s no “zero stars” category.

Hepasses his patients on to junior partners after running them through every possible expensive diagnostic test even when they show no results It is also unclear why he had additional and unnecessary personnel in surgery which I wouldnt have known about until I received a copy of denied claim to WOSM from Medicare for same

Dr. Grossman takes care to explain what's going on, and what all your options are. I really appreciated his thoroughness and professionalism!

Dr Grossman is attentive and patient. Surgery is not his run to option and that is reassuring to me. I trust his judgment completely.

Dr. Grossman is a straight shooter and a great listener. He's also a good guy. Like everyone at WOSM, his orientation is to get you back doing what you love if that's what you want. It is what I want, which is why I keep going back.

Dr, Grossman is a consummate professional. An excellent surgeon with a good bedside manner, he has repaired my right shoulder (torn rotator cuff) as well as replaced my right knee. His practice is supported by an outstanding team of physical therapists. Highly recommended!

My experience was OK, I decided not to have Dr Grossman do my surgery because he did not accept any insurance. His staff demanded that I pay upfront and they get reimbursed by my insurance. My insurance tells me it doesn't work that way, and they need to pay him. I'm now stuck in the process of trying to get reimbursed. I wouldn't recommend him for this reason.
