Dr. Richard Guerrero

Didn't get to the bottom of what was wrong and didn't support me when I tried to seek answers through other avenues. Office staff is a nightmare to deal with. Find someone else.

It's been an extremely frustrating experience to try to get through to them to help with a letter of medical necessity. It's been two weeks of calling and leaving voice mails, speaking to one person briefly, getting put on hold forever, and ultimately they refused to help advocate for my health. It takes months to be seen and they no longer do Telehealth appointments. The person I saw for my appointment was only minimally helpful. Can't find a new GI quickly enough.

Dr himself is a great Dr but it takes months to be able to see him. Ive tried to get my husband in to see him because of a bleed and they have nothing until May or June? That’s ridiculous

Dr. Guerrero's diligence and insightfulness saved my life. Very professional and cooperative with the rest of my medical team.

Arrived for 3pm appointment, 5:22pm & finally was placed on exam room. Same wait time or longer at every appointment. Ridiculous to miss work for this! Hope to see Dr. Guerrero before 6pm.

Office never answered me. They left me on hold for 43 minutes and then hung up on me. This has happened many times not just this time. Awful customer service seriously terrible I could not get my simple questions answered through the phone. Do they expect us to drive 30 minutes to their office just to ask my question?.

Unable to get in contact with office, left several mesages no one answers or returns calls also, have faxed referral and no one has been able to contact back for new patient.

Horrible. He ignored my pain, didn't order any medication or additional diagnostic tests to find out what's really going on with me. Had me suffering for 3 months already since the hospital visit. Now I have to wait/find another gastroenterologist that will truly help me. Also, the wait time is ridiculous. Had me waiting for an hour each time and only talked to him for 10 minutes each time because he had other patients waiting and it was close to waiting time. He has a ton of patients that he can't keep up with, I personally feel he's just there for his paycheck and not to help his patients.

Cannot seem to make contact with anyone at this office, called, left messages, was even referred from Providence Hosp. Days have gone by without even a trace. I don't think this place is open anymore. Wow, 3 days later I had to make contact physically, just to be rudely told, I can't and won't be seen, even after a E.R. Referral. De. Guerrero did not have the compassion for my sister and let her die. His last words to her were, “you need to figure out what to do because there is nothing that I can do for you.” This coming from a doctor is a slap in the face. His only focus is money and not the patient. Do not go to him!

Dr. Guerrero, is a great doctor. He was able to figure out what was wrong with me immediately after going to many doctors for years. He is awesome, patient and very knowledgeable. 110% recommend him

Dr. Guerrero and his staff were great! I was referred by my PCP for an age related colonoscopy consult. In spite of current COVID-19 restrictions, I was met immediately, filled out appropriate paperwork, saw the attending tech for my consult, and walked out the door with a surgical appointment in hand, all within 40 minutes. On the day of my procedure, I was, again, met, qualified with (more) paperwork, and being prepped for the procedure, again in a most timely manner. My nurse (MERIDES) was very informative, going over ever item of information in detail that I, a layman, could understand. I was then turned over to Dr. Guerrero’s tech (SYLVIA) and my anesthetist (ROBERT) who continued this session, again with detailed questions and answers about the procedure. Dr. Guerrero then informed me of his planned methodology with step-by-step instructions. After the procedure, my wife and I were given copies of all the related findings along with, again, specific post-procedure directions. His office even called me the day following the procedure to check on my status, and inquire of any additional questions on my part. That, ladies and gentlemen, is quality care at it’s finest! very efficient office staff - every is very friendly. Dr. Guerrero does a good job of explaining everything very simply and is caring and easy to talk to.

Attempted to be a potential patient, left several messages but no one has contacted me. I called to inquire what ins. Dr. Guerrero accepts and locations. I was placed on hold twice and no one ever retrieved the call. On my third attempt, I left a message with my name, number, and reason for my call. Post 2 days and no returned call. Dr. Guerrero might be a great doctor but it is impossible to get information or set up an appointment. Do not care for this type of service so I will look else where for MD. Takes great care of my father and is always courteous and professional.

I can't say enough about the courteous staff and amazing Dr. G. The staff is very attentive to your questions or concerns, very friendly and knowledgeable in their work. Dr. Guerrero makes an effort towards getting to know his patients & establish a good relationship with them and not just be another client. This physician is: Very punctual, professional, thorough, and his one on one face to face is awesome!! I moved here a year ago, and have been his patient for several months. He explains everything and listens to YOU, as the patient!! I feel safe and reassured that he will listen to me and WE together for my benefit!!
