The staff has pathetic manners specially the optometrist. He s also a man of very few words. They need to work on their communication skills

You cannot get an answer to a basic/generic question from the doctor without the office forcing you to come in for a visit (when one is not needed). When you do go in, the whole exam is done by a resident and not the doctor.

A fantastic doctor, extremely talented and able to answer all of our questions and work with us to feel comfortable about the decisions. My son has been seeing him for 10 years now for checks post childhood cataracts surgery at 6 months. Mentioned by another reviewer, many times we are seen by a resident, a lot of times very qualified, but yes you may occasionally get someone that's a bit fresh. Dr Levy does check their work and it's great to know that they are growing talent in this field. Dr levy is a pompus jerk he is rude and very unpleasant and unprofessional i came to him with a strabismus problem which he is an expert at but I also had a chronic inflammation going on that I asked him to look at and all he kept saying is your her for strabismus surgical consultation with his background and expertise he could have looked at my issue the other doctors I have ever seen at Weill Cornell would go above and beyond helping me if I had a situation like I did yesterday but he was just interested in telling me about his strabismus surgery and he wasn't concerned about my well-being at that time which was very upsetting I will not be ever let him touch to do his for surgery...

Very knowledgeable and amazing Dr and the team. Equipped to deal with complex issues. However, there is usually a wait time. Nevertheless, five star review because of how good the Dr's is.

Dr. Levy is the absolute best. Been following both of my children for many years. We could not be happier with his care.

My Dr Levy did surgery yesterday on my daughter’s Nicole Gass eye. She has Duane syndrome. He did a fantastic job on loosening the muscle. So she doesn’t have to turn her head. He explained everything took his time. She doesn’t have to turn her head anymore. Her vision is still perfect. My daughter trusts him wholeheartedly. I found him to be easy going and a caring Dr that wants to help his patients. I highly recommend him.

I brought my kids to visit Dr. Levy after seeing good reviews about him. He delegated the eye exams to his resident, who was very inexperienced and could not get the reflective measurement after half an hour struggle. That's when Dr. Levy came in to help with an OK attitude . In the end, we received a bill of more than $500 PER kid. More than 3 hours spent in his office for simple eye checkup, unreasonable bills and OK services. I brought my kids to visit Dr. Levy after seeing good reviews about him. This was the first time I met Dr. Levy. I went to him for a second opinion regarding the need for an MRI prior to strabismus surgery. Compared with the first doctor I went to see, Dr. Levy spent far more time explaining the condition. He faced me when he was answering questions as opposed to the first doctor who concentrated more on his computer and avoided eye contact - oddly - until the last couple of minutes. Dr. Levy answered questions honestly. I would definitely recommend him.
