Dr. Richard Craig Newhart

The only complaint I can come up with is the doctor is not in network for my insurance.

Dr. Newhart is amazing! I had 2 skin grafts done. He was very informative during the surgery, gentle and fast. He listens and answers your questions. We need more Dr. Newharts in the medical field!

I have never had such a thorough exam before coming here. The staff and Dr. Newhart were extremely nice, answered all of my questions and more. I left there understanding everything I needed to do for my treatment and left extremely satisfied. Highly recommend Dr. Newhart.

Friendly staff and over all great experience!

1/30/23 Most thorough first appt I’ve ever had! Friendly staff that cares about their patients! Explains everything to you as the appointment goes on and makes sure they take top notch care of you & your family as well! My bestie & daughter are next! Next appointment soon!

Jordyn (sp) is one of my very favorite dental hygienists at Dr. Newhart’s office. She is very professional, user friendly, personable, gentle and kind. She shares your own personal information with you and explains things well. After that, I get the privilege to speak to Dr. Newhart’s receptionist(s) l. It’s always a pleasure signing in and checking out with these fine people. Last but not least, Dr. Newhart is bubbly, energetic, positive, and upbeat. He is always professional and courteous. These are the reasons I keep returning to The Gum Doctor. ❤️

Professional, friendly, and friendly-the best out there!

My whole experience with doctor Newharts office was a positive one. My reason for going was stressful, as would any intense issues in the mouth be. But every interaction with the staff was welcoming and professional. Oral work is often expensive, and while I was talking to different offices to get a quote on costs I was sweating a little at the projected costs for what I needed done. But doctor Newharts office was the best financial option I had and I was so relieved to not have to pay an arm and a leg to buy a tooth. The financial team even filled out extra paperwork to send to the insurance company requesting they cover more because my issue was genetic not cosmetic. Because they did this extra step for me the insurance company covered hundreds more than they originally said they would. And I am so grateful to them for doing that for me. I am thankful for my experience with this team and I'm quite satisfied with the work they did for me. My whole experience with doctor Newharts office was a positive one. Laken is a great dental hygienist. She is very thorough yet extremely gentle and is a really nice person!

By far one of the best practices in WV. Lakin is awesome at what she does and I see consistent improvement in my numbers. And who can forget the man himself. Dr Newhart was able to save 2 of my implants which in turn saved me thousands of dollars and multiple surgeries.

Highly recommend. Dr. Newhart and his staff are always professional and pleasant. We’ll equipped office and we’ll trained staff. Dr. Newhart is good at his job and is always thorough in his treatments and follow up.

Laken is the nicest dentist Ive ever met! I'm so happy to have found this dentists office! They keep me well informed and cheer me on when my mouth has improved. 10 out of 10 definitely recommend!

Dr. Newhart and his staff are extremely professional and thorough. I didn't even have a gum problem when I first started going but was just so pleased with how much better my oral care was after going I intend to keep going. I very much recommend them for your oral care needs.

Dr Newhart is without a doubt a most excellent dentist/periodontist. He is always up to date with the latest procedures and equipment. He is also Very nice and explains things . L.and is truly concerned about the patient’s comfort and well being. Our area is so lucky to have him.

This is the third tooth of mine Dr Newhart has worked on, and he has consistently determined and fixed the root (no pun intended) cause. $’s well spent!

I have been going there for a long time. The staff is so friendly. Laykin is my dental hygienist and I love her. Dr Newhart is a great dental specialist.

Doctor Newhart is the nicest doctor I've ever been too. He has a wonderful manner and made me very comfortable. He is also very nice and complimentary to his staff. It was a pleasure to be in his office.

Dr. Newhart and his staff are wonderful! I was very anxious about my dental implant procedure, but there was no need to be. The procedure went smoothly and I had no bleeding and very little pain. They were very reassuring and talked me through every step of the process. I highly recommend Dr. Newhart and his staff.

I have been a patient of Dr Newhart for years. His entire staff is wonderful. Fear no pain! He is very conscience of patients pain and pays close attention to ensure no one is uncomfortable while he is working on your mouth! He is the best.

First question,, "do you have insurance?" After answering yes the charges flew. Took an x-ray of my lower left, stated I had an impacted wisdom tooth that would need to be removed. Charged x-ray price. Seen oral surgeon 8 days later, no wisdom tooth revealed in a panogram that Newhart's x-ray showed. Scam "dentist " First question,, "do you have insurance?"
