Dr. Parker is absolutely outstanding in every possible respect; the personification of professional excellence. The best place to be, if you've suffered an orthopedic problem be it by injury or disease , is in the caring hands of Dr. Parker and his wonderful staff. True story. Just so you know. The best doctor I have ever been under the care of.

The Doctor here is apparently unqualified to do his job. I came for an xray/MRI 6 months ago for an extremely painful injury in my knee. The doctor told me that he “thinks” theres something wrong with my meniscus and then said I’d be fine in 6 weeks walk on it as much as you want. Well its been 6 months and I can hardly walk on it for longer than 100 ft or I’ll wake up unable to move in the morning. I finally decided to see another doctor, first I got my scans from the staff at South Nassau, who are very rude and inefficient. When I gave the scans to the new doctor he asked who put it together because the files were all messed up and they had to spend 30 min getting an IT guy to fix them. When he could see the files he said that it was hard to make anything out with the scans I got and that I definitely needed new scans (which i needed either way). After I told him about my experience with South Nassau, I found out that if you have something wrong with your meniscus, it pretty much can’t be anything other than tear. Apparently micro tears in the meniscus are an extremely common issue that every doctor should be aware of, and they don’t often show up in MRIs. So Dr. Parker was somehow oblivious to this and sent me on my way. Now thats its degenerated to a radial tear in a part of the meniscus that is difficult to repair and does not heal properly on its own, I’ll probably never run or jump the same again, and unless the new doctor can figure out how to fix it during my operation, I’ll never play any of the sports I love again. I’m 19 years old, any issues in my knees would be caused by an actual injury, not just “something wrong”. Needless to say, go find another doctor. Friendly staff

Great advice and doctors.

Excellent Dr, and his staff are friendly and efficient, Dr Parker treated me without any delay .I highly recommend him .his office wait time is short.thank you again Dr Parker for your care.

If you’re looking for honesty and good communication and integrity stay away because the staff are the worst. They’ll hang up the phone on you constantly, Will never call you back just frustrating wish I can deal with the doctor himself without the staff. (on the good side Dr. Parker is the best)

So I send my husband with all of the office today with all new paper work stating that there was a change in insurance from the last visit. I spoke with 3 people one who hung up on me and the other Donna Oshea who is the office manager (unbelievable) I explained to each of them that my husband's new insurance requires authorization for a MRI. She (Donna) when on and on about how the old insurance carrier still has the old coverage active. Please make sure that you follow up with that office if you have any thing done that requires AUTHORIZATION they are not nice or customer friendly!! Lastly, the office manager doesn't listen very will!!! So I send my husband with all of the office today with all new paper work stating that there was a change in insurance from the last visit. Entire staff is friendly and professional, office is clean and I was seen in a timely manner.

I see Dr.Parker at the Merrick location, the staff was very professional, the front desk girl Emelina was very friendly and helped me with paper work questions, great that they speak both languages!!!! Dr. Parker and medical assistants are very professional.

I made an appointment for the Valley Stream office last week, I was taken in to see the doctor as soon as I completed my paperwork (VERY LITTLE WAIT TIME ). Dr. Parker was very friendly and knowledgeable, he knew exactly what he was talking about and guided me in the right direction. They were able to schedule and obtain authorization for an MRI for that same day. The results were in the next day. I highly recommend this practice to anyone who needs an orthopedist ( AND A GOOD ONE !). Had an appt at 10 a.m. Over 10 people waiting complaining about waiting. Waited about two hours started asking people what time their appt was they all said 10 and were with me that it was ridiculous. Good doctor very nice. But wish when they booked appts. It was booked properly vs. trying to get everyone in at one time.

fromt desk extremely rude , i would have walked out if i wasnt waiting for 1 hr to been seen for the first time . They messed up my chart and was lazy to get my medical record !!!
