I went to Dr. Tessler for an issue with one of my fingers, he was very patient and diligent trying to figure out what the issue could be as he didn’t want to jump into surgery if it wasn’t necessary. Eventually we had a second set of X-rays done and this time we knew what the problem was and we scheduled the surgery to fix it. The surgery went very well and my trips back the the office for PT and checkups afterwards were always pleasent. I am planning to make an appointment to see him again for an issue with another finger after my great experience from last time. From the minute they answered the phone they were more concerned with my insurance (which I have) then my injuries. I was in an accident and they didn't seem to be concerned that I needed immediate attention.

I know when I am reading reviews, I like them to be short - so I will keep this short - but know that I could fill two pages, single spaced with the numerous complaints about Tessler. When I arrived for my 2 PM appt, multiple patients were in the waiting room. Once gentlemen had an appointment at 12:30, and wasn't called back until 2:10. I wasn't called back until 3:15, and then I waited in the room until 4:45 for the doctor to come in. When he did come in he was INCREDIBLY disrespectful to me when I mentioned the long wait. "... when I have to deal with frustrated women, like you..." I stood up to leave because he was being so rude, and then he began to YELL at me for leaving. When I walked out, he was still yelling, His nurse, who was INCREDIBLY SWEET asked me what was going on, I began to tell her and Dr. Tessler came around the corner in a flurry yelling, "NO ONE TALK TO HER. SHE DOESN'T NEED ANYONE TO TALK TO HER." He also lied to me and told me it was my fault that I had to wait that long to see him because I was feeding my baby. The nurse followed me out to my car to tell me that he lied to me, and that it wasn't my turn to be seen when I was feeding my baby, he was just using the fact that I needed to feed my baby as arsenal. Plus, what was I supposed to do? Not feed my four-month baby for three hours? The nurse also told me that the wait time is ALWAYS like that.
