Dr Zimlich is the best orthopedic surgeon!!! I had my left knee replaced last year and my right knee in Dec. My recovery has been amazing for both thanks to Dr Zimlich!! Dr Sarah and all his staff are so awesome! Thanks so much to such an amazing team Dr Zimlich for and his staff! Thanks again Dr. Zimlich!!!!!

I work at NYU and wanted my mother to come to NY for her surgery. Not that there's not great doctors in SC. But I know my hospitals are thorough an attentive to their patients. I guess that's the one thing that bothered me. After my mom knee replacement with Dr. Zimlich he didn't come see her after she woke up. He didn't come the next day or reach out to at all once the surgery was done. When she had issues we were seen by the nurses(who we're very nice and attentive). Something else I didn't like was they have a one year follow up behind a knee surgery(that's incredible behind any surgery). My mom needed a second surgery and I brought her back to NYC and she was amazed and impressed by the difference. Doctors personally and verbally attended to their patients and follow ups. My mom had less worries and comfort this time around. For the most part Dr. Zimlich and employees were satisfactory, some more than others. At the hospital there was a nurse walking without a mask.

I got an appointment within 2 days after receiving my referral. Dr. Zimlich used good eye contact& listened to my symptoms. Short wait time, and staff friendly.

Yes, I highly recommend Dr. Zimlech. He is a very knowledgeable, professional, and caring physician. He is a very cautious doctor when it comes to treatment. Surgery is a last resort for him. Also, the office is very clean and provides all precautions against Covid. All employees are very courteous and kind.

I like the staff. They are friendly and helpful. Very patient just kind people.

Dr Zimlich is the best orthopedic surgeon in South Carolina. He is kind, compassionate listening and explaining each and every step of your procedure. He replaced my hip and it was the best decision I made and he was the best surgeon for the job. I had total knee replacement in April of 2019 by Dr Zimlich. It was not the diagnosis I’d hoped for, but it became a blessing anyway. My mobility comfort is 100% improved! I feel that everything possible was done pre-surgery to reduce anxiety and I was given every tool possible to expect success. Of course, my job as the patient is to follow instructions and strive to meet physical therapy goals, but I feel I was able to do that because I was armed with all of the information I would need, had the best surgeon possible who did the perfect surgery and was encouraged and cheered on by his wonderful support staff. I just had my 15 month check-up and I’m happy to report that I’ve had NO issues and x-rays are still perfect! If and when the other knee needs replacement, I will definitely be going back to Lowcountry Orthopaedics and no one other than Dr. Zimlich!!

Excellent orthopedic doctor/surgeon and practice! He replaced both of my mother's knee joints and has now done very well diagnosing and administering care to my right knee!

Dr Zimlich listens. He takes his time and explains what the problem is. Options for treatment are suggested and the decision is left up to me.

I was seen early which was great. Everyone was very professional.

This is my first visit to Dr. Zimlich and so far he has shown me concern over the pain in my hip. After x-rays were taken he sent my information to an MRI department to have more images done. So far I am impressed. I have been dealing with this pain since 2017.

Dr. Zimlich was the worst dealings I have ever had with a so called professional. He was rude, condescending. He questioned whether I would do pt after he had talked to me for less than 5 minutes. What did he think I was there for? No empathy. I would never return to him. Good luck to anyone who chooses him. I gave him an one because 0 wasn’t an available option.

Dr. Zimlich’s patience and honesty with me is appreciated. I’m respected as a patient. I know this because he takes the time to listen to my concerns. Although I may want not to hear about any physical restrictions I may have its clear to me he’s genuinely concerned about my total well being and quality of life. Dr. Zimlich’s staff are professional and down to earth. Always a friendly hello and smiles.

Dr.Zimlich has a wonderful personality. Very pleasant and easy to talk to.

I have seen Dr. Zimlich in the past for other joint issues including surgery to repair a fractured elbow. He is very knowledgeable and a good surgeon. I didn't have to wait long, had xrays and was seen by Dr. Zimlich in a short amount of time. The entire staff was very efficient and nice.

I was referred to Dr. Zimlich by my doctor for my knee issues about three years ago. I am well pleased with Dr. Zimlich and everyone else at LowCountry Orthopaedics. They are all very friendly, very caring and the procedures used on my knee have worked. I highly recommend them.

Dr. Zimlich has collected several hundreds of dollars through insurance for my three visits to him and I would say (with certainty) he couldn’t tell you the color of hair without looking at my pic. Cattle are treated with more respect and care than what Dr. Zimlich provides.

Dr Zimlich and his team were professional, measured, experienced and smart: just the kind of folks I wanted to do my knee replacement surgery. There timely and understandable answers were reassuring. His surgery allowed me to meet all of my goals involving walking, biking and swimming. When I first met with him I could barely walk. Now my knee replacement is a fully functioning joint! From start to finish my total knee replacement was amazing! Dr. Zimlich explained everything well and was very encouraging along the way. Everyone in the office was helpful and kind. I highly recommend Dr. Zimlich and his team. This has been a life changing surgery!
