Dr. Rick J. Berrios

He did both my children's wisdom teeth, my neighbor's kids' wisdom teeth, a weird growth extraction for me. He is very kind, reassuring and has a great personality. We all healed well, minimal discomfort. My son has another mouth issue now, so we called Dr. Berrios to hopefully take care of it. He and his staff are awesome.

I came to Dr.Berrios for a follow up/checkup after getting a tooth extracted and an implant placed. I was worried because I’d noticed the area around the implant was red, swollen, and would occasionally bleed (this was about 10 days after the initial surgery). I voiced my concerns to Dr.Berrios and he completely ignored them and waved me off, saying everything was fine. He even went on to list the symptoms of an infection, and 3 of the 4 symptoms he mentioned were things I said I’d experienced. Still he waved me off and sent me home. I knew something was wrong so I went to another surgeon and got a second opinion and sure enough, just by looking at the area for 2 seconds she was able to tell it was in fact infected and prescribed me antibiotics. I will not be returning to Dr.Berrios anytime soon, as I can only assume his blatant disregard for my concerns was due to the fact I’m a young woman, or his own indifference. I was referred to Dr. Shaw by my regular dentist for oral surgery. I could not have been better referred. Dr. Shaw made me feel like i was a long time client of his and his skills backed up his chair side manner. An apparent true professional in his trade.

He does EXCELLENT work! He is very kind, attentive and prompt. He has also hired an office staff that is equally pleasant and professional. Highly recommend!
