Dr. Rick Chavez

I went to Dr. Chavez 20 years ago when I was taking 2-3 Vicodin a day to cope with hip pain which I broke playing football and I wanted to get off them. He put me on Suboxen and 20 years later and a bunch of hard times I am still on it. I would have been better off just getting off the Vicodin back then. Suboxen and Subutex are helpful but not when they just take the place of something else and you are on it forever. The withdrawals getting off Subs are awful. Tried it once and did not sleep for 5 days. Should have never gone on Subutex. Dr. Chavez moved up north and now he is back in So Cal. I saw him in the grocery store tonight and wanted to approach him about all this but decided it was not worth it. His wife Lynette is a nice person but this Subutex has caused me a lot of problems over the past 20 years. Too many to mention here but not sure Dr. Chavez is the way to go.

I have been treated for pain issues by Dr. Chavez for over 10 years! Dr Chavez is an incredible doctor! He helped me manage pain from not less than 10 orthopaedic surgeries including knee and shoulder replacement as well as multiple cervical and lumbar fusions! He is very kind and empathic while maintaining a healthy doctor patient relationship. I highly recommend Dr Chavez to aid in pain management!
