Dr. Rishi Thakral

I had emergency surgery to repair a broken bone around a prosthetic hip implant. After about a year, the surgical site still wasn't healing and was, in fact, getting worse. Now, about 18 months later I am informed that I have an infection at the surgical site. It wil require two surgeries and lots of antibiotics to eradicate the infection and repair the surgical foul up. Before the surgery Dr. Thakral was very arrogant about his abilities and scoffed at the idea of surgical infection. Furthermore he was very reluctant to administer post operative pain medication.

Dr. Thrakal isn’t only a fine physician but also a fine human being. He tells you exactly what needs to be done and he also shares the plan for your care. He has a very human side. As a former medical professional I don’t put a lot of faith in other professionals I’ve had to deal with for my own health. I trust him!

Dr. Thackral is an amazing doctor with a great bedside manner. He has taken the time to explain what needs to be done and why. I have had a very hard time due to an infection in my knee and he has made sure I got the best treatment possible. The infection is gone and I am starting to walk again.
