Very informative about different problems that cause your hand from preforming daily activities. Hopefully I can get by with Steroids and a hand brace.

Prompt and caring medical care

Everything was first rate.

Dr. Elliott is professional, courteous, and a trusted advisor!

He truly cares cars about the patient and takes the time to explain things in simple terms.

We were seen quickly and a plan was developed to get my son back on the field as soon as is safe.

Went in for cortisone shot in thumb. While I didn’t see Dr. Elliott, his nurses and PA took excellent care of me.

Dr. Elliott has always been extremely professional when I've seen him in the office. He listens to my concerns and answers my questions. Dr. Elliott is a very good doctor. He always on time. I enjoy going him. I will always go to this practice.

Dr. Elliott very knowledgeable and professional. He diagnosed my issues quickly and took care of them. I called for an appointment and I was seen with a couple of days not weeks or months with some other facilities. I highly recommend OSS and Dr. Elliott.

Dr. Elliott performed surgery on both wrists to address severe carpal tunnel. He was a total professional pre-, during and post surgery. Patient comfort and care were evident and constant by Doc as well as all nurses and support staff. Very pleased with the entire experience and OSS will be my only choice should any additional orthopedic needs occur.

Shot worked perfect. I didn't want it but my thumb is cured!

I was very pleased with the treatment for my condition. My problem was resolved within a week as Dr Elliott indicated it would be. I will not hesitate to call if needed in the future.

Dr. Elliot is friendly, professional, and his recommendations are always based on science. From our first meeting, I felt like I was being cared for by an old friend. I have recommended him many times to my patients.

I have been a patient for a number of years now and have the utmost respect for him and confidence in his abilities as a physician. I have had one procedure/surgery from him that totally rectified my hand issue. I do receive continuing treatments from him on another issue that is being managed successfully.

He gave a unusually high level of detail around the mechanics of my wrist, arm issues which I appreciated as a retired engineer. Not long ago I've had doctors become irritated at questions around that kind of detail. I was in so much pain, while I had a mainor injury at my place of work, which I just thought it will be fine. As a man it pained just a little bit enough to keep me going with work. Never did I know after a couple of months that I was injured inside my joints due to the impact I had on a frame that I was assembling parts on. When I went to Dr Elliott. I was like we can have this hand cut ✂️ off. After the Doctor took time to find out the course of pain he noticed a very minor gap and browse on my arm joint. He admmisterd treatment and now I'm ok. I am so impressed by the care given to me by Dr Elliott and all the staff in the OSS ASC. I encourage all my friends and family to come to OSS HEALTH to be treated for any Orthopedic issue when ever possible.

Dr. Elliott was very knowledgeable. He took the time to listen to my problem and try to determine what was causing my pain. His method of treatment has been successful for me so far. Although it was a Friday afternoon at 4 pm, he and his staff treated me as if I were the first patient of the day :-)

I had fractured my thumb and joint in a car accident. Dr.Elliott did surgery Oct.7th. It has healed very well. No problems. He is a very good surgeon and has a very nice bed side manner. I would recommend him to anyone.

In December 2021, I saw Dr. Elliott for both of my hands. Six years ago (in a different state and by a different doctor) I had two procedures done on my right hand at the same time — one of which was a ring finger-trigger finger release. Then about a year ago I fell and landed on the palms of my hands with my weight pushing my hands against the pavement. My hands hurt and ache and sometimes would swell since so I “finally” went to Dr Elliott for help. He gave me three steroid shots (one in right hand, two in the left). After about 3 weeks, my left hand is feeling about 80% better and my right hand (one with prior surgery) still hurts a lot! Dr Elliott’s plan was to try the steroid shots first with a follow up appointment in 6 weeks prior to getting an MRI of my hand(a) if necessary. I felt very comfortable with his planned approach & was hoping the steroid shots would have worked. But I have to return for further evaluation and treatment. Dr. Elliott was very professional and nice at the same time. He made me feel at ease throughout the visit and was very knowledgeable and practical in his treatment. Dr. Elliott fixed my carpal tunnel syndrome, and my trigger thumb. Entire staff is very friendly and very professional. I trust him to fix whatever issues I may face in the future.

Dr. Elliott is a skilled hand surgeon. I’ve had 3 successful surgeries relieving painful arthritis in finger joints. He has a gentle, kind bedside manner and caring support staff.

Dr Elliott is a superb surgeon. He performed an excellent job on my Dupuytrens Contractured finger. I would not hesitate going to him again and highly recommend him to anyone else with similar issues.

I had carpal tunnel surgery on both hands in September of 2019. No relief, still in pain up to my elbows and some times my arms feel like they are locking from my wrists upwards. I have a balance with OSS which I will not pay! They're supposed to be concerned about my health care and welfare but that's not the case. I would not recommend them to anyone. Dr. River Elliott and his team are complete professionals that do amazing work. He took his time to explain what happened and what i needed to do to get back to 100%. I highly recommend seeing him if you are having any discomfort he will get you feeling better quickly.

I went to see Dr. Elliott for a follow up visit after a few weeks had passed since injuring my wrist. I was mostly seeking confirmation that it was healing and advice on how I could help the pain and functionality improve. I feel that Dr. Elliott provided and addressed both of these things. He took additional x-rays, including new views that were not addressed previously, and went over the results with me. He also provided me with some at home exercises that I could do. I appreciated his attentive and honest assessment of the situation and explanation of future healing and expectations.

I visited with an irritation on my left hand. Dr. Elliot was extremely polite, timely, and matter of fact. He was honest in telling me that my cyst was not an emergency and didn't need surgery. It was a choice I had, but not something he felt as crucial. I appreciate knowing that it wasn't necessary to spend the money. He also has a sense of humor which is nice in a doctor, especially if you're seeing them for pain. I would recommend Dr Elliot to anyone!

Dr. Elliott provided an incredible experience from start to finish. I fell down the steps and ended up with a Distal Radius Fx. He communicated the entire process and explained everything so I could understand what it took to recover properly and return to normal life. My wrist feels great and I couldn’t be more satisfied. He exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend him on all levels of care!

He was such a good doctor! He removed a bone cyst in my finger and it healed wonderful! He's super friendly and I'd go to him again.

Dr. Elliott is phenomenal! My daughter fractured her wrist and I took her to the urgent care for treatment. The treatment she received was exceptional! The fracture was pretty bad and Dr. Elliott and his PA, Sarah, did an amazing job fixing her arm! She had surgery in the ASC, which was an amazing experience, as well. Dr. Elliott even called us personally the day after surgery to make sure everything was going well. I would definitely recommend Dr. Elliott and his team for orthopedic care.
