Very good

Very through with information on the hip replacement.

I had my right knee replaced by Dr Avino he did such a great job I was so thankful that he did it and everyone has complemented on how great of a job he did with my scar I would recommend him to anyone

Met a patient of Dr Avino that had both of his knees replaced and was walking very well, then there was a news report on robotic knee surgery with little downtime preformed at the Gardens hospital by Dr Avino, the robots had the name Mako, which was the manufacturer of my 254 Mako, no relation just interesting. Upon arrival in a large waiting room the staff were friendly and helpful, we were seen on time. Each and every staff member was courteous and professional. Meeting Dr Avino was very pleasant, he took his time and explained the problem with my knee and how he will treat that knee from start to finish, explaining the time line for in home therapy followed by the therapy in the rehab center. All of our questions and concerns were answered, never felt rushed. Have the papers for my doctors to approve my surgery. Feeling very happy tonight that the pain and suffering will be treated in the near future. We are Very Happy that we met Dr Avino and his wonderful staff today. I highly recommend you contact Dr Avino.

Dr. Avino's office is conveniently located with adequate parking. Check in was prompt and efficient. A few minutes later I was given two X-rays needed for Dr. Avino to make his diagnosis. After a brief wait in the examination room, Dr. Avino arrived and fully explained the X-rays and his conclusions. He solicited questions and answered all. Check out was also quick and efficient. I was recommended to this practice by friends and I will recommend it to others in need of orthopedic care.

Was kept waiting a full hour, no apology. Bedside manner lacking. Looked at X-ray, Told me I need two new hips. After 5min discussion he got up and started walking out of the room and I said, oh, are we finished here? And he said, there’s nothing else to say. He will not be receiving my business, ever. Do not recommend.

I enjoyed meeting Dr. Avino. He is very knowledgeable and with a calm demeanor. The office & nurses are excellent as well.

Recently had a full hip replacement. Would recommend Dr. Avino 100%! He and his staff take the time to explain all the details of the operation and follow up care.

Everyone was wonderful and pleasant. Dr Avino is very thorough and has a great personality. So glad I chose Palm Beach Orthopedic Institute. It was highly recommended to me and it was the perfect choice. Thank you everyone.

Had a great visit today with Dr. Avino, remembered my first visit last year, with fractured hip. Listened to what I was feeling and going through, did new x-rays, gave me a shot and said it should be good for several months, any problems to feel free to call. Wonderful place and very friendly, helpful, fun, and knowledgeable staff. Love this group.❤️

Dr. Avino is truly a magician - I have suffered with an extremely arthritic hip for quite a long time. I had previously seen three non- PBOI surgeons who were not what I wanted in a surgeon - their practices were very non-patient friendly and more like an assembly line. Dr. Avino spent a lot of time with me explaining the procedure, reviewing pre and post op precedures and showing me how the new hip would look. I am truly grateful that I found his practice and recommend him highly. His MA, Heather is also amazing - she pays total attention to details and responds almost immediately to any e-mails!

Dr Avino is very patient and explains everything very thoroughly! Heather is a gem to patients - you can email her and she gets right back to you !! I’m so glad to have this team for my hip replacement!

Dr Avino and his staff are professional, thorough and personable. My recovery from the total robotic hip surgery that took place 6 days ago has been phenomenal. Virtually no pain nor swelling. The RN Mary and PT Viktor who visit me at home have only positive comments about Dr Avino and they are fabulous—calm, supportive, clear directions on what to do and not to do, etc Also, the staff at the Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center did a great job both pre-op and post-op. Judy and the other pre-op staff explained everything that would happen, what to expect, steps to take to insure I had a positive outcome etc. The pre-surgery jitters and concerns I had were totally understandable as it is invasive surgery but NOT warranted in retrospect. I will be scheduling the total robotic left hip replacement with Dr Avino ASAP.

I recently had a total hip replacement with Dr. Avino as my surgeon and consider the entire process as nothing short of a miracle. From the professionalism of his staff to the excellence of his work, I am so grateful to have had him help me. The pain I was living with prior to surgery was immediately alleviated, and as stated on his website, I only needed Tylenol for the days post-op. In fact, I never experienced pain in the aftermath, but just a tightness or stiffness in my thigh. I am a walking testimony of his incredible skill. People who see me can't believe the difference in me If I could shout it from the rooftops, I would..."If you need hip surgery, hobble to this guy, and you'll skip away with thankfulness that you did."

I was taken on time, did not have to wait very long to see the doctor. X-ray technician was very professional. Dr. Aveeno explained my problem, gave me a course of treatment as well as a prescription. He did not spend anytime punching things into a laptop which was refreshing. I had his undivided attention. Good experience.

Refer me to another position I'll see how that works out it may improve my ratings later

Dr Robert Avino was wonderful! He wasn’t rushed, made constant eye contact and fully explained everything. The staff was delightful.

I moved to West Palm Beach from PA and this was my first visit. Dr. Avino has a warm and caring personality. I instantly felt at ease. I had both of my hips replaced a few years ago in Pittsburgh and I’ve had some problems since then. I feel confident in Dr. Avino’s medical expertise and treatment plan for addressing my issues.

Personnel were efficient and pleasant, explaining and performing all procedures in a timely fashion. However I waited 45 minutes past my appointment time before being shown to an examining room.

First time meeting Dr Avino to discuss hip replacement. He was on time, thorough, listened well, answered every question thoroughly, did not rush the appointment and I felt like I was in good hands. If his surgery skills are as excellent as his people skills, I’ve got a winner. I’ll find out in a few weeks, but I already trust him.

I saw Dr Avino twice already. He is very personable. He spent enough time with me, understood my problem and treated it.I recommend him fully.

Upon entering the office you are admitted immediately and efficiently with their laptop. within 10 minutes the doctor saw me x-rays were done and I was out within the hour. The staff as well as the doctor are pleasant and caring.

Very efficient and pleasant staff. Dr Avino quickly assessed my problem and I was out in 30 minutes. Impressive.

Dr Avino was so very nice - great bedside manner! He didn’t suggest any surgery. He gave me an option of a cortisone injection or we could just leave the knee as is! I opted for the injection. One of the things I really liked was that he told me exactly what he was about to do and that I may feel some pain or uncomfort and that was really important! It took about 5-8 minutes for my knee to feel better. I went out that night and danced without any pain whatsoever. 5 stars for Dr Avino!!! Dr Avino was so very nice - great bedside manner! Dr. Avino is a highly trained, talented surgeon. In addition, he can talk to patients, taking time to explain his plan of care. I couldn’t recommend him more highly!

I felt my visit was a little short and I probably won't be doing physical therapy. I have done this in the past for my knee/back and I have exercises I can do at home.

Didn't feel he paid a lot of attention to my X-rays. Cortisone shot put in area not source of pain and had no effect. Still having a lot of pain

He was very friendly and showed concern about my pain.

Saw me close to my appointed time. Examined me throughly and explained my options.

The office staff are welcoming and Michelle was easy to talk with and she listened to me. Dr Avino explained everything to me so I could understand the process. He allowed my daughters to ask questions as well and it helps that he is cute as well haha. I would recommend

My surgery could not have gone any better. I had very little pain. Dr. Avino is very caring and considerate. He contacted my family 3 times during the procedure with updates. He was considerate in regard to a very painful unrelated condition I had at the time. He even saw me in the hospital on a major holiday. He has a great bedside manner both in the hospital and office making me feel that he truly cares about my recovery, comfort and well-being. I haven’t had major surgery in over 50 years, so no basis of comparison, but I rate Dr. Avino as an exceptional surgeon! My surgery could not have gone any better. I had very little pain. Nurse was efficient and pleasant. Very competent. Dr. Avino was well prepared, he had reviewed pertinent medical records. He then examined me, discussed alternative solutions and recommended that we proceed in a conservative manner. I received a cortisone shot and he told me to do therapy and wrote a detailed chit for the therapy. I asked for a follow up appointment. Dr. Avino was what I needed: competent and pleasant.
