I saw Dr. Brown last week. He was so professional. He sat down with my husband and I and listened to all of ours concerns and answered all of our question. I definitely would love to recommend

Dr Brown is a great doctor and has helped us and is great to work with. His staff, specifically Margie Fernandez his NP is very accommodating and is always available if we have had any questions or concerns. We couldn’t ask for a better medical professional to work with and take care of my wife.

I have been with Dr. Brown since July 2019. I have been lucky to have found him. He is a serious, knowledgeable Dr. in his field. He literally saved my life. When I saw a different Doctor before Dr. Brown that Dr. recommended I start taking medication which was then expensive and needed to be taken every day without missing one day. Fortunately, I was referred to Dr. Brown. He studied my case and after a long visit, he did not think I needed the medication at this point. After 3 1/2 years, I am doing well and see the Doctor once a year.

Dr. Brown was very concerned about my situation. He was able to schedule an MRI for the evening of my visit and a biopsy for the next day..He went above and beyond to help..He is kind, extremely knowledgeable and very up beat..I wish I had seen him straight away..Liver Trouble get an appointment with Dr Brown..

Dr. Brown was so friendly. He is very caring and explained everything thoroughly. He really took his time with me, unlike some doctors who always seem to be rushing you out. A side note: If the website says there are no appointmentss for a long time, call directly, because that is not always up to date. I highly recommend Dr. Brown.

Superb experience!

Dr. Brown is a true expert in liver medicine. He cares for his patients as if they were his own. In spite of many years in the field he still is youthful and with a great sense of humor when needed. Thank You Dr. Brown and WCM!

I am not always the easiest patient to deal with when I am in crisis. And before Dr Brown, I had been cycling through a number of doctors. So after a difficult search to find a helpatolgist to treat my Primary Biliary Cholangitsts, I am relieved to have Dr Brown and NP Ms. Fernandez-Sloves on my team. Dr. Brown’s personality is very friendly and engaging. I felt very comfortable with him.I came to the visit with a list of questions and he respectfully answered both my serious and my sometimes - silly/hypochocnrical questions. Dr. Brown is a caring, warm and extremely knowledgeable doctor. He was very patient and took the time to answer all my questions and made me feel at ease. I highly recommend him. His staff was also very helpful and professional and always responded to my calls.

Dr. Brown is the best liver doctor I have ever had in my life. He is knowledgeable, kind and his bedside manner is like no other. Whenever an issue surfaces he knows exactly what is wrong and properly diagnosis. I could not recommend him enough to anyone with liver disease.

I regretted seeing Dr. Brown. He has extremely unpleasant bedside manners. On top of that I felt rushed and he didn't get to explain much of my condition and didn't really answer any of my questions. I was very disappointed.

Dr. Brown was my initial doctor when diagnosed with liver disease back in 2014. He was very attentive in the years after my diagnosis and I saw him in between my appointments with the gastroentologist. In February/March of 2019 I went for my normal routine appointment but at this time I was pregnant. I expressed to him my concerns of being pregnant with liver diseases and he assured me that all will be ok. I shared with him that I had developed increase itchiness of the skin of which I thought I may have cholestasis of pregnancy. He said he would monitor me and schedule regular blood work to check my liver enyzmes. In the interim, he put me on meds to try to control the itchiness. Months went by and I would do the blood work but I notice that him and my prenatal doctor were not talking about my results. I called numerous times and was directed to speak to his assistance of which provided no value to my diagnosis at all. She simply read information that I was already privy to, based on the notes on the portal. I asked her to have Dr. Brown call me because the itchiness had increase tremendously and I wanted to know if my meds should be increased. She indicated that I should consult with my prenatal doctor about increasing the meds. I was confused as Dr. Brown was the one who prescribed the medication not the prenatal doctor. Therefore, shouldn't he be the one to suggest an increase in the medication. I expressed that to her and she explained that she would contact him and get back to me or the prenatal office. I gave her 3 days and she did not call my prenatal doctor. I was extremely upset because no communication had been made after i expressed that I no longer wanted to talk to her but to Dr. Brown. I had to put in a formal complaint to the office manager in order to get a call from Dr. Brown, at which he expressed that he was not "well versed" in cholestasis of pregnancy. SMH. You being a liver specialist can't do research on cholestasis of pregnancy to give your patient adequate advise. And if that was the case, why didn't he tell me he was not "well versed" when I went for my initial appointment months before. I felt like this was an excuse to his lack of participation and communication with my prenatal doctors. In addition, I felt like he put not only my health but my unborn child life at risk. My prenatal doctor was even baffled by his lack of interest in connecting with her to discuss my symptoms. I know there are patients that he provides service to that may need a liver transplant or have worse conditions, however your job as a doctor is to provide the best service to all of your patients regardless of the case. Dr. Brown has been taking care of me for over 10 years! When I needed a liver transplant I went to see him and he was extremely confident and comforting. I can’t imagine being under the care of anyone else. He really cares about his patients!

Dr Brown saved my wife's life. He along with Dr. Samstein, Dr Haluzun and their respective staffs. When dealing with life threatening situations of a loved one, you tend to be overprotective - which you should be. I also learned to trust the process. They know what they are doing and they are hands down the best at what they do - this includes Dr. Brown. My wife is alive today for this reason - and thriving.
