He has helped me with chronic sinus issues, performed successful sinus surgery on me, and he has helped me maintain good sinus health to date. Dr. Dattolo is a FABULOUS health care provider. I feel confident in his diagnosis and plan of care.
I am always pleased with the personalized attention I receive with Dr. Dattolo and his staff.
Dr Dattolo is very knowledgeable and compassionate.. He cares about children as if they are his family..He has incredible empathy..
Dr. Dattolo Has always taken very good care of me and my family. Always very thorough, never rushing. I had a question about a prescription and his staff gave him the message. Within a half hour I had a call back from the Dr.
Dr. Dattolo is very thorough and professional. He never seems to be rushed. Appointments are always prompt and close to the scheduled time.
I had a terrible ear infection he squeezed me in the next day was very professional and thorough I liked him very much.
Fantastic, caring, exceptionally knowledgeable and thorough ENT. Gets right to the point and moves efficiently, but compassionately. I wouldn’t go to any one but the best. He is the BEST! Also, his nurse is amazing and stays on top of every patient file. She has never forgotten anything he has asked her to do. A terrific duo!
Dr. Dattolo is extremely thorough, professional and diagnosed me accurately when other doctors had not been able to. I am so thankful for the care, workups, and referrals I received to get the appropriate care. Dr. Dattolo is the best!
Dr. Dattolo fixed a botched ear tube surgery that a Wellington ENT performed on my daughter. He was conservative, and didn’t perform the surgery right away. When he finally decided it was necessary, he did an amazing job. He’s so sweet to both my daughter and son, and I found him and his staff to be wonderful.
I took my 84 year old father to Dr. Dattolo for a check up. He was respectful, thorough and professional. When we realized the hearing aids he was using were over 12 years old, my father scheduled another appointment for a hearing aid upgrade. It was life changing. The audiologist, Samantha, was so good and my father is a new man with very good hearing. Love Dr. Dattolo and his staff. I took my 84 year old father to Dr. Dattolo for a check up. Just kept prescribing antibiotics! ! He needed urgent treatment, finally demanded CT scan. Miss diagnosed us
If I could give his team 0 stars I would. On Friday July 13th , 2018 I went to the offices of the “Ear, Nose and Throat Associates of South Florida, P.A.” at 3401 PGA Blvd., Ste 410 Palm Beach Gardens for a checkup on my nose. Prior to seeing the doctor I asked to be notified if there would be any additional charges outside of my $40 copay (i.e. special exams). They said NO. In addition, I wrote this into my paperwork as a new patient. Specifically, I added language to the agreement that it is their responsibility to notify me before any additional procedures are done that would cause me to incur payments to my deductible. The Doctor saw me, looked in my nose and said he thought that everything was okay, and he prescribed me a nasal spray. NEVER was I notified that when he looked in my nose that it would cost $258.78 on top of my $40 copay. When I went to pay my copay and schedule a follow up appointment, they requested that I pay $298.78. When asked why this was more than the $40 copay, I was told “because of the doctor’s procedure to look into your nose”. I notified them AGAIN that I requested to be told of any additional charges before any procedures were to be done. They said that this was not their responsibility and that I signed paperwork indicating additional costs associated with certain procedures. I told them that they were to notify me of this, which was NEVER done. I walked out without scheduling a follow up. Do you think they called me or apologized? Nope, they let me walk out and didn't have the class to call me to make it right. If I could give his team 0 stars I would. I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Dattolo because for a few weeks I was having issues hearing clearly, and I wanted to get a hearing test while I still have good health insurance (I'm retiring in December). The afternoon before my appointment his billing assistant called to confirm my insurance coverage and to advise that I still had $1100 of my deductible to meet (I knew that) so my office visit would be applied toward the deductible but not the hearing test. I inquired what the charge would be for the office visit and she said she didn't know what code he would be using. I told her that I was having issues with my ears feeling clogged and also had a headache. She guestimated that his office charge was $150 or so, and that the hearing test was $45, but only the doctor's charge would apply towards my deductible. I said OK. The day of my appointment, I was called into the patient examining room, Dr. Dattolo came in and looked in my ears, my nose, my throat and said my right ear drum was slightly damaged, but nothing else was wrong. I told him I had a headache for 3 days and my ears felt like there was cotton stuffed in them. He felt both sides of my throat and then sent me to the hearing testing room. After the testing, I went back to the patient room where we went over the test and compared it to a test done 3 years prior. He recommended possibly trying a hearing aid in my right ear, then we were done. I went to check out, and my total was $315!!! I asked how that total came about, as I was told less than $200 the afternoon prior. She said well it was $90 for the SCOPE he used on you. Can someone tell me how a doctor could use his naked eye and look in my ears? He couldn't, so of Course the scope would be needed and I wasn't given that price when I asked for an estimate of costs. I left the office very unhappy, because my ears continued to hurt, I felt ill and worsened after my appointment, and my head felt stuffy and I still struggled to hear. 48 hours later I called the office and asked if Dr. Dattolo could please call me in a prescription for a sinus infection (which I mentioned to him during my office visit, that I'd had one or two in my life and this felt like one), and they called me back and said he wouldn't call me in a prescription, that he would need to see me again. I said I saw him 2 days ago and I couldn't afford to pay those costs again, especially since I was still sick. The office gal said "well he didn't see you for a sinus infection". I responded that I mentioned it to him during the office visit and told him my head had been hurting for 3 days and felt clogged. She said well he will need to use a scope on you to determine a sinus infection. I responded yes, I'm familiar with the scope because I paid $90 for him to look in my ears, nose and throat 48 hours ago. They would not call in a prescription. So, for $315, which for the six minutes I saw him adds up to $25/minute, I left sick and got nothing for it. I certainly could've used (or saved) that money towards medical costs that resulted in me feeling better. When I questioned their exhorbitant costs, I was told they were a "specialty office". I did not receive specialist treatment. I ended up going to my regular doctor and was given Amoxicillin, which cleared me up, (which I asked Dr. Dattolo to simply call in and he refused) along with a nasal decongestant and sinus rinse procedure. I will never use this office again. I could've received better care from a walk-in clinic. I did get copies of my hearing tests so I can use them elsewhere. Google made me check one star so I could post this, oh well. Both myself and my daughter see him. He repaired my sinuses and it's been wonderful. Excellent bedside manner.
I waited two weeks for an appointment only to find out they had never entered it in their calendar. Totally in competent office staff. Too bad you can’t give a zero!
Excellent physician.

Dr. Dattolo is very bright and experienced, but also very personable and caring. I give him my highest recommendation.
Caring, patient and very knowledgeable
Dr. Dattolo did not seem to care about actual symptoms and correcting. He just wanted to prescribe one allergy medicine. When it did not work, his response was - it works for all my other patients. He was not interested in helping find something that would work. He acted incredibly bothered. Office tried to overcharge me twice. When I questioned charges, they rechecked and it was significantly lower both times. Check with insurance before you pay their bills.
Dr. Dattolo is part of a group practice, and was not my physician. However, he was on call twice following a major surgical procedure performed by his colleague. There were complications, and it was easy to tell Dr. Dattalo did not like being disturbed at night. His response was the equivalent of "take 2 pills and call (the other doctor) in the morning". As far as staff is concerned, there seemed to be a preoccupation with how much was left on my deductible.
He was a wonderful doctor! I will definitely be going to him next time!Highly recommend! He genuinely cared about my issue and resolved it!
