I just love Dr Fisch so much. He explains everything clearly, he listens to you, he answers every question with patience. He diagnosis every issue with knowledge and he’s never wrong. Dr. Fisch is the best doctor I’ve ever seen. Thank you very much Doctor.

Dr. Fisch is wonderful, kind, patient, and an expert diagnostitian. I couldn’t be more grateful for the amount of time he spent with me to ensure that his recommendations would be correct.

My family and I have seen Dr. Fisch for many years. He is a highly adept orthopedic surgeon. His knowledge, expertise and communications skills are of the highest caliber. Furthermore, he really cares about his patients. Dr. Fisch makes me feel comfortable and confident with his diagnoses. In my most recent procedure, Dr. Fisch referred me to Dr. Mait. Dr. Mait specializes in the procedure I required. After meeting Dr. Mait, I was thoroughly convinced that Dr. Fisch’s referral was in my best interest. Dr. Mait is a topflight surgeon, and I was thoroughly pleased with his skills. Thank you Dr. Fisch and Dr. Mait. My family and I have seen Dr. Fisch for many years. I received excellent orthopedic care from Dr. Fisch. He is extremely thorough and offers extensive knowledge of the area of concern. His care and Physical therapy with exercise has helped improve my back pain.

Not only was the Doctor concern of my condition, he took time to make sure I understood my condition and how to treat my situation in more than one way

I had hand surgery done by dr Fischer he was wonderful great surgeon and so caring about his patients he will always come highly recommended

He is an outstanding physician! I cannot recommend him enough! If you need an ortho surgeon Dr. Fisch is your guy!

Dr Fisch is a great doctor. He is very attentive to his patients. He’ s a kind and caring doctor. These days it’s hard to find a doctor with these types of qualities.

Dr Fisch is a sweetheart. He explains everything in a manner that anyone can understand, and honestly cares about you. The staff are cordial, protocols were followed during Covid, and everything was organized.

Dr. fish is a wonderful person kind patient and very knowledgeable. He made me feel very comfortable.

saw Dr. Fischer with my grandmother who suffers from dementia in the Lynbrook office. Excellent mannerism, knew what was wrong with her before examining her. Took his time and was so kind. Most doctors now a days are always in a rush, but this man never was so thorough and kind. Old school doctor, the best! Highly recommend.

Honestly, Dr. Fisch, Sasha an Orlin & Cohen office manager, & Janet from the disability department has left a really bad taste in my mouth and I will never recommend them to anyone! If you need paperwork filled out by the doctor for an insurance company, it will most likely be filled out by someone from the disability department and not your physician, making things get lost in translation. Secondly, Dr. Fisch doesn't remember his conversation with me during my office visit 2 months ago I was told by Janet that I should make an appointment to refresh his memory (and get billed for it) or send the paperwork with an explanation of the conversation so that she can remind him for me.... Does that sound trustworthy to you? I made a complaint & Sasha called me & after hearing my story she was confused because my chart backed up my claim. She calls Dr. Fisch & tells me he changed his mind about the conversation we had during my visit in March. This has been a 2 month battle of incompetence

Horrible! Honestly, I am horrified that I was even recommended to see Dr. Fisch as a doctor. I was diagnosed with bipatellopemoral syndrome and was told that I needed to attend physical therapy! Upon my diagnosis and what the treatment would be, I explained to Dr. Fisch that it was impossible based on what my schedule was ,which is why I couldn't attend physical therapy in the past. Once he heard my schedule, he actually seemed displeased to know how many hours I worked and how long I stood in a single day (I am a makeup artist for a company). I told him the only way I would be able to work and go to physical therapy without being penalized for calling out and having flareups in both knees, I would need to be part time. He agreed and said it would give me ample time to rest after attending physical therapy. Fast forward, the insurance company for my employer needed forms filled out by Dr. Fisch so that my schedule could be altered. The only alteration would be for me to be part time which he agreed when I visited him on March 7th, 2020. The documents were faxed over to the insurance company who called me to let me know the paperwork was incomplete because of ONE line. It was a question to specify what my schedule would be like and the answer stated, N/A. So because of N/A it put a halt on the processing of my paperwork. I called the office and left a message. Janet from the disability office returned my call to tell me, she's the one that filled out the paperwork, not Dr. Fisch, and she put N/A because she didn't know what my physical therapy schedule would be like. Other than that, the paperwork supported that I would need to be part time because it was checked off that my schedule would have to be reduced. The insurance company faxes another piece of paper to Orlin & Cohen with one question this time (just reiterating that I need a reduced schedule) and someone at the office writes an answer that contradicts what was filled out on the previous documents. I call to see why this was and Janet tells me, "Dr. Fisch does not remember having a conversation with you about your schedule." I explain to her in thorough details what was discussed and she asks me, "why can't you attend physical therapy after work?" Hmm, maybe because I live in Brooklyn, work in Manhattan, and my doctor and physical therapy center are in Long Island?????? Also, sometimes I get off of work at 8:45 pm. Janet then asks me to call the insurance company and ask them to fax over the paper work to me, so that I can fax over the paperwork to her and put a cover letter explaining everything that I'm saying over the phone, so that she could tell Dr. Fisch and refresh his memory. Or make a virtual appointment with him to ask him about the paper and be BILLED as an in office visit. Seriously?????? Remind him of why he agreed that I need to change my schedule to get treatment which was written on the original documents sent to the office to be filled out by him which was filled out by someone else??? That put a bad taste in my mouth so I wrote an email to the office manager who called me. I spoke to Sasha on May 6 (yes, so this was 2 months of this) who I explained the situation to. Sasha tells me she" is looking at my chart and she doesn't understand what the issue is. It shows my schedule must be changed for me to get treatment & it was filled out on the original forms so why would it be checked off differently on the second paper that was sent?" Sasha tells me she's going to speak to Janet to discuss this matter & hangs up. About 10 min later I receive another call from Sasha who says that she spoke to Dr. Fisch & he made a new decision about my schedule. That although he put in the notes that my schedule needs to be changed in order for me to get treatment, get rest, and not have to call out when I have flareups, he no longer agrees I should be part time and that he is basing it on what he put in my notes. Dr. Fisch is an amazing doctor. He did my knee replacement surgery and in less then one month after I feel great. He took his time to explain the entire process to me including exactly what to expect after surgery. When I went for out patient physical therapy the first thing the therapist said was that this doctor did a great job. The only thing I regret was waiting to get this done. I would highly recommend Dr. Fisch.

Just a very down to earth individual. He listens as much as he suggests. Runs late on occasion because he takes the time to truly evaluate his patient but the wait is well worth it.
