A very pleasant experience. Dr Jones got all of my melanoma removed.

The whole office was so friendly and helpful. Dr. Jones was so good. He got right to the point and put me at ease where some drs will fiddle around. I would HIGHLY recommend.

I have been going to Dr. Jones for many years! My daughters were both treated by Dr. Jones for acne when they were teenagers. He has been nothing but professional and helpful with whatever we needed medically. He takes his time with you and always makes you feel like you are his only patient. I highly recommend him and this clinic.

I just returned from seeing Dr Jones. I have been going to him for several years. I have always found him to be very knowledgeable and ready to help in any way. Dr. Jones has been my dermatologist for years, whether it be for topical treatments or surgical procedures. I've always received wonderful results. His office is well appointed, his staff is knowledgeable and his nurses go the extra mile to make you comfortable. I highly recommend.

Staff were cordial and efficient. Dr Jones was very personable and helped us to understand the necessity for the procedure. He and staff were efficient and concerned.

(Misty was a boss in handling my skirmish-ness with the shot. Thanks for being patient with me.  She is a gem!!) Dr. Mac and staff give you a no-BS approach in their specialty. I am a busy wife, mom, professional with very little time, and they respect that. However, if you need that weekly doc-interaction, or like the 'up-sells' on unnecessary procedures/products you do not need, or just need hugs from your providers with surprise charges, then you need more than a dermatologist.  (I feel for that once, which is why I offer this review.  Don't be a sucker). Dr Robert Jones is an excellent doctor I highly recommend him. My last visit he did surgery on my ankle removing a knot. Piece of cake no pain no problem went home with stitches dr Jones was so informative and very professional. Great doctor

Dr Jones has been my dermatologist for several years. He has spent time talking and addressing any concerns I have. He does have a sense VERY dry sense of humor and is often cut and dry. But that is also his personality. I have never had a bad experience. There are times you may have to wait for an appointment, but they do get sick and do like vacations like the rest of us. Note to the wise, they are busier towards the end of the year when deductibles are met, so be prepared. Dr Jones has been my dermatologist for several years. I have been seeing Dr. Jones since 2013. Really down to earth guy which always make my visit enjoyable! The staff are great and both Dr. Jones and his nurse (Misty) go above and beyond to help you any way they can. I know there are negative reviews here but the ones who have had a bad experience are always quick to leave a review. The good/great visits tend to not be reviewed. I urge you to try them for yourself.. Nothing but great compliments/experiences from me since 2013!!

Dr. Jones has been such a caring and considerate doctor in helping me control my psoriasis throughout the past 30 years. He has always taken the time to consider the best medical treatment. I would gladly recommend him.

My family members have utilized Dr Jones' services since the late 1990s, beginning with my daughter's visit to him for acne treatment while she was a senior in high school. That was a traumatic experience for her at that age especially but he was very informative and did not try to paint any unrealistic scenario as to treatment and expected results, and yet he was exceptionally kind in his presentation. Since that time and experience I have utilized him myself on many occasions and could not be more satisfied with treatment and recommendations from him. His diagnosis and prescriptions for treatment have always been spot-on to solve my issues. I would not ever consider anyone else for my dermatology needs.

The physician removed several small places of concern as well as taking a biopsy of an unusual dark spot over my eye. The procedure was minimally invasive and the sutures were extremely neat, leaving an almost undetectable scar, He is an excellent surgeon and skilled with diagnosis. The entire staff, from reception through nurse and technician were helpful and efficient, Highly recommend.

Long Post warning: I have been a patient for about four years now. I was led to come to him after another dermatologist had sprayed some sort of freeze on the sores on my scalp and also sliced my ear to check for "skin cancer" which was negative, of course. Shortly after this medical fiasco, God led me to find the Dermatology Clinic of Jackson. I told him of my previous dermatology visit and Dr. Jones immediately diagnosed my condition as psoriasis. Prior to coming to Dr. Jones, I had broken my foot and the stress from breaking my foot caused psoriasis to spread ALL over my body. No other doctor could tell me what was wrong with me. No blood test could tell me either except that it was some form of arthritis. However, later on a skin test had proven what Dr. Jones had already confirmed. Dr. Jones placed me on Stelara and every symptom vanished: pustules, sausage fingers & toes, scalp and body legions, and the inflammation disappeared too, Dr. Jones is a God send and very mannerable!

Not a fan of this place at all! The Dr. runs in and runs out and doesn't listen to what you have to say. Everyone there always seems like they are in a bad mood. I had three different appointments and got absolutely nowhere. I would not recommend.

I am educated & do not expect to be babied. He was extremely rude & rushed; he acted as if I was an inconvenience. He was in the office less than 5 minutes and that was to remove cyst and stitch me up. I asked if it was being sent off for biopsy & he rolled his eyes, said no & walked out.

I have seen Dr. Jones for a few years, 2 years ago, I was concerned about a spot on my head, and for the last 2 times I saw him, I showed it to him, he just looked at it and said it was nothing. I am prone to Basil Cell, and have had Melanoma twice, so I am concerned about things I see that aren't suppose to be there. I made an appointment with another dermatologist this year, and the spot on my head that he said was nothing, turned out to be Basil, and I have had surgery on it, and have to have more. I saw Dr Jones this past week and he was and always has been when we have seen him in the past, professional and gets the job done. What I went for is healing and I’m very satisfied with the results.

Very nice guy, listened to me with out interruption and didn't speak down to me. Got to the point quickly. Make certain though that you write down what he puts on his prescriptions though as his hand writing made my pharmacist almost unable to fill the prescription.

This was my first visit to Dr. Robert Jones. Everyone at the office was very nice and he was great. He explained things and gave me several samples. I was very happy with the visit and will go back to him in the future.

The BEST dermatologist ever! I'd seen two other doctors and had two biopsies, but the other doctors had no clue what the problem was. Dr. Jones took a look and asked some questions. He told me what it was...some sort of lichen dermatitis. I used the ointment he prescribed and the itching was gone the next day. It was gone in a week!

I visited Dr.Jones for a spot on my face. As soon as he saw it, he said it was a squamous cell carcinoma. He removed the spot and pathology confirmed that was indeed what it was. The surgical incision has healed very nicely and just looks like another tiny wrinkle in my already aged face. I appreciate that he was so knowledgeable and skilled in the surgical removal of the spot. I will definitely see him for any future skin concerns.

I waisted over 200 dollars with this doctor for nothing I do not have insurance and after my visit two weeks later my skin is the same all my hands fingers cracked,I do not recommend this doctor

I did not have a favorable visit with dr jones. i felt like he was 'careless' during my biopsy. he removed too much so near my shin area. i shared I did not heal well. it was not healed, still trying to open, when the nurse removed the stitches. then it pulled open. he had just left and rather than call him back to re-stitch they used BUTTERFLIES to close. I have huge ulgy scar and won't ever go back.

Dr. Jones has been my dermatologist for 16 years. He has removed several basil cells from my face and head due to sun damage over the years. I highly recommend for your skin health needs. I am completely satisfied with his services.

I went to see Dr Jones for a cancer scan. I had been helping a family that had an 8 year old child with a painful skin condition. A special shampoo was needed to treat the condition. The family couldn’t afford the very expensive shampoo. Dr Jones gave me several bottles of the shampoo to take to the family for the child. Highly recommend Dr. Jones when friends/family are looking for a dermatologist. Dr. Jones treated my 9 month old little boy when a knot appeared on his head above his ear. A Memphis hospital told us that it was nothing life threatening and to see a dermatologist. The first thing Dr. Jones did was biopsy the spot and the results were that my son had Leukemia. Dr. Jones immediately contacted our pediatrician to begin the process of sending us to St. Jude. We are very thankful for Dr. Jones!

If you want a Dr. that will baby you Dr. Jones is probably not your guy. But if you want a good knowledgeable Dr. he can't be beat! I would bet that the bad reviews are from people that expect to be babied. I have never had excessively long waits.

Dr. Jones is a very nice man when you become a regular patient. He is very professional and will discuss multiple options with you. Do your research and he will illuminate your understanding. I’ve only seen him once but once I got in the exam room, it was very fast and direct, I loved it. He looked, told me he didn’t think it was anything serious. He set me up on a payment plan to save me another visit, when we could just fix the problem that day. Small skin tag removal w/ numbing shot and a razor blade and I didnt feel a thing, done and bandaged in about 30 seconds. Very nice.

I started going to Dr Jones when he had a office in Germantown Tn. 16 yrs ago. Since then he and has closed his office here and I continue to see him in Jackson. It's worth the short drive. I wish all doctors were like him.

Very friendly, well informed doctor!! Knew immediately that the “mole” I thought might be malignant was not a mole at all. He gave me information to be able to tell the difference. He also removed an aggravating skin tag for free!! Very impressive this day and age!!!

I would not recommend this doctor to anyone! My daughter was referred for a viral skin infection. The wait time wasn't long. However, when I filled out the paperwork as to why we were there, the nurse that called us back, apparently didn't look at it! She asked why we were there! When the doctor arrived, he was so arrogant and rude! He didn't even look at my daughter's skin! Now, needless to say, I am having my daughter referred elsewhere because her condition isn't any better! Shocked!

My wife and I have been going to Dr. Jones for several years. I have had problems with melanoma. When he checks you over, he will find it if it's there. I had to see an oncology doctor in between his visits one time and that doctor over looked the new melanoma. On the next visit to Dr Jones, he noticed the new spot right away and got rid of it.

Dr. Jones immediately diagnosed my perioral dermatitis which was made worse by topical steroid withdrawal ( prescribed by a NP). He was very knowledgeable about POD causes/triggers and treatment. Thankfully, contrary to the horror stories I read about other dermatologists in a FB support group, Dr. Jones acknowledged the dangers of topical steroid misuse and that topical steroid withdrawal is real. I highly recommend Dr. Jones for his expertise, competence, and kindness.
