Absolutely the most poorly run practice in San Diego. I can't image how they are still in business. I am not sure Dr Lajvardi has any idea how poorly run the practice is. You are better off going to Tijuana for care.

Just stay away. He has good and bad days but unfortunately in medicine one bad day can have a lot of lasting effects.

Unprofessional medical office. Nursing staff ( Leilani ) was very disrespectful and rude over the phone. Can’t get ahold of anyone and call backs are only at their convenience. Don’t recommend whatsoever nor appreciate how they treat clients. Will not continue using them for future needs.

I scheduled a visit with this office about a week in advance. I received no reminders so it was good I added to calendar. When I arrived I filled out some standard paperwork and was then taken to a room. Initially they did some standard screenings, but then left me in the room for over 1 hour. I asked Lalani if they forgot about me and she just said “no” and walked away. They had nice equipment but completely wasted my time. Wonderful doctor and very friendly staff!

I really like Dr. Lajvardi because what he is doing is professional. my experience with him was awesome, he patiently answers all questions and cares about who ever goes to him. Thank you.

Dr. Lajvardi is a wonderful doctor. The family environment that he has established at his clinic is amazing. He truly cares about the health and well being of his patients.

Don't waste your time taking yourself or your loved ones to him, Dr. Lajvardi is a horrible doctor who shouldn't be practicing medicine.

I live in Chicago and this doctors office hit my insurance for $750.00 for a drug test. I have never been to this place in California?????

I wish I could post no stars. This was the worst experience I have ever had with a medical group. Complete lack of respect for patients and their time. Go somewhere else.

I have been a patient of Dr. Lajvardi for over 10 years. From day one, he has made a commitment to devote himself to improving my personal health and I couldn't be more pleased. His staff provides a welcoming atmosphere from the moment I walk into his office. I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone needing a Family Medicine Physician to schedule a visit with Dr. Lajvardi and see for yourself. I did and I am fortunate that someone with Dr. Lajvardi's experience is readily available to me.

Incompetent and unprofessional.

He is money hungry, he does not care about his patients. All he does is prescribe more tests to be done at his facility. I would not take my dog to him.

One star only because I had to pick one. No star is more accurate. Rude,doesn’t listen and has no time for his patients. Gives meds and changes them at will. Totally messes with your body so you end up in the hospital. Please stay away if you value your health.

My past three experiences with Dr. Lajvardi at his La Jolla office have not been good. For the first two the office called me to reschedule the appointment, then for the reschedule they called again and wanted me to come in early. I did come in early both times. Both times they did not end up seeing me until the originally scheduled appointment. The first time Dr. Lajvardi left the office after only speaking with me about two of my three issues. I had to make another appointment to have the third taken care of. At that appointment Dr. Lajvardi was not there, another Dr. was. For the second experience Dr. Lajvardi never saw me and the assistant could not help me. She told me to come back the next Thursday because Dr. Lajvardi is only there on Thursdays. I went back the following Thursday and the office was closed with a sign in one of the windows that medical office space is for lease. I was never called or notified that the office had closed. The signs in the office on my previous visit said that the office would close on December 1, 2018. This is a very unprofessional practice. Do not wast your time with them. My biggest complaint is getting through to the office - it is very difficult. Dr. L replaced my last MD who retired, and those were big shoes to fill. However, when I met w/Dr. L, he was patient and listened to my concerns. He also recommended that I have a more complete physical than I had had in many years (based on my age) - so I thought that was good (still waiting for results). The office did screw up on setting that appt and it was very difficult to get them (office) to follow up w/me (took weeks!). I realize that it's a new practice, so there may be some bugs to work out. I'll give it more time.

Dr. Lajvardi took over the practice of my former physician after his retirement and I couldn't be more disappointed in the transition. I really wanted to like the doctor, but unfortunately he's been terrible from every angle. Care: Did not want to listen to me at all and tried to change the treatment plan I had with my prior doctor. Wait: For each of my two appointments I had to wait more than an hour past my appointment time. Insurance: Billed my insurance incorrectly and sent me a $500 bill.

Incompetent and unprofessional. Referred me to a specialist not in my plan then "forgot" to send my notes to another specialist.

This doctor is so hard to reach it's ridiculous. Called the office on Thursday morning at 9:30 and got a recorded message asking me to call back during "regular office hours" ... Monday through Friday 8:30 till 4:30. This office is a JOKE!!

He's extremely knowledgeable about a wide array of topics and always has my best interest at heart. So glad that he's my doctor. His staff is friendly and professional, they've always been accommodate me when I have an urgent matter. I feel that he truly cares about me, which is rare to find these days. I love my doctor!

I'm new to san diego and was looking for a psychiatrist and pain management specialist, until I can find one he's been a huge help in the medication I need. Friendly, as well as his staff with a clean environment. I'm surprised his rate isn't higher.

My opinion regarding this individual as a professional and a human being is simply, " I believe this individual shouldn't be allowed to practice anything other than a conscience!" (all practice, practice of this or any other kind should be strictly prohibited with the general public. Practice should be limited to your family members ONLY! I will do whatever it takes to ensure that you wont be treating my mother for a diagnosis that you are no more qualified to give than I. I had a routine checkup with Doctor Lajvardi and it was the most UNPROFESSIONAL experience I've ever had with a doctor. He didn't perform any of the routine exams and ordered expensive tests that were uneeded. I never recieved my results but did however recieve a large bill. They ended up losing my blood sample.

Up until recently, the PA was running the office. Making decisions she was unfit to make. He seems to have lost his desire to help and gained desire for more offices.

The doctor spent only 5 minutes listening to me before he started writing a prescription. It was very surprising to me that he prescribed a wrong medicine for me and I did not realized that until I went to the pharmacy.

I went in for routine blood work and it took two hours. They schedule patients 3 every 15 minutes and wonder why the waiting rooms are packed! The doctor never called with the results, I had to call them. The doctor ordered another test, but they didn't have the equipment to perform the test so I was told they would call to reschedule when the equipment arrived. They didn't. I had a mammogram, the imaging center called two weeks before my doctor to give me the results. This was by far the worst service I have ever received and I have already changed doctors. If you want to be treated like cattle, this is the place. If you want your doctor to treat you like a human whose health is in their hands, go somewhere else!
