I absolutely am terrified of dentist. The night before my appointment panic starts to set in. The drive leading up to my appointment, tears take over and I am a mess . I’m not an easy patient. Healthcare has seen many changes in recent years, and Dentistry is in forefront this progressive mode, also. Just this week I had a difficult molar tooth (way in the back!) that needed extraction. Not a prospect that I was looking forward to, but my skillful oral surgeon, Robert Lemke, DDS, MD, and his excellent staff, made the process a breeze. Actually he made it a brief, pleasant dream with the use of IV sedation. I woke up quickly and was on my way shortly thereafter. Even more amazingly, I have had no pain, swelling, or need for any pot-op pain meds. However, he and his staff supplied me with all appropriate home care instructions and prescriptions for meds if I felt a need for them. Lastly, Dr. Lemke called me that evening to see how I was doing and were there any questions; nice, caring personal touch! This is posting under my maiden name, but these people are Awesome, Awesome. The staff is so friendly and helpful. Mrs. Brenda is the one that set everything up and she’s amazing. Henry is awesome. And Dr. Lemke is the cherry on top. They make you feel so comfortable. It feels more like you went to visit Aunts, uncles, and cousins rather than an oral surgeon’s office that you’ve never been to. I had 3 impacted wisdom teeth removed and besides asking them if they wanted to play basketball and eat chitterlings (I was pretty doped up), I don’t remember anything about the procedure. I've been terrified to get my wisdom teeth pulled ever since I was young. Knew 4 years ago I needed them removed (all 4 impacted), but put it on the back burner because they didn't give me trouble. Out of no where I got an infection and had to get them taken out pretty quickly. I honestly had nothing to be afraid of. Everyone at Dr. Lemke's practice was so pleasant, comforting, and kind. I almost felt silly for how scared I was because the surgery itself and the healing process has been a breeze. The assistant (Laura I believe) was super sweet and personable. Dr. Lemke explained everything very well and was incredibly reassuring. A great experience overall. Dr Lemke has a remarkable bedside manner. Our daughter healed perfectly with no issues. He even called late the night of the surgery to personally check in to see how she was doing. He left his personal mobile number for us to contact him in the event we had any questions or concerns. Leading up to having my wisdom teeth removed everyone prepped me for a truly awful experience. With Dr. Lemke the experience was anything but that! My wisdom teeth pain was soreness at its worst and the gaps (thanks to the platelets the used to fill the gaps) healed completely in a matter of 2-3 weeks. Dr. Lemke and his staff provided such fast and friendly service. Was in severe pain for 3 days with my wisdom teeth coming in and had developed an infection. With so many offices being closed right now My Dentist was able to refer me and after reviewing my xrays Dr Lemke seen me the next day and successfully removed all 4 molars. professional and on time, no wait time made me feel relaxed, felt no pain

Dr. Lemke is wonderful! I had a lot of reservations going into my extraction and called last minute ready to cancel! He took the time to speak to me again on the phone and explain his method and why it works so well. I felt at ease with his knowledge. It’s not often doctors take the time to graciously explain things to patients, especially ones like me who love to challenge everything. I opted for the PRP and I have to say it made a world of difference! I had all four teeth removed and I took 1 ibuprofen a day for about three days because my pain was that tolerable. You cannot put a price on the benefits of speeding up the healing process and minimizing pain that drastically! I am completely satisfied with my experience and I highly recommend Dr. Lemke! He knows what he is doing and it may be different but it is a game changer!

They did a wonderful job of making sure I was comfortable and well informed on what was being done about my oral health. The doctor was very personable and cared about my health going beyond what my appointment was for to make sure there were no issues that may have been missed. I highly recommend them.

When I say I am a BABY about elective procedures that may cause me harm I am not kidding... but the time came where I had no other option but to get my wisdom teeth out. Dr. Lemke could tell I was anxious for our consultation and calmed me down instantly just talking about our hobbies. The day of surgery was just as easy, everyone was nice and professional but so fun with how they kept your mind off of what I thought was my doom. I got the PRF, where they take some blood and spin the plasma out of it and put it on the wounds for and 80% faster healing time. My biggest fear was using the syringe to irrigate the sockets but with the PRF I didn't have to do that! All in all great people, easy procedure/process, and fast recovery. I won't ever do it again, but if I had to I wouldn't get myself all worked up over it. Dr Lemke and his team are great! Dr. Lemke did an outstanding job! He and his staff were extremely professional and highly skilled, and provided an excellent care! My oral surgery took about 5 hours with many manipulations but I was made very comfortable with IV Sedation and local anaesthesia, and was in a deep sleep during the entire procedure! I never had any discomfort or pain, no noticeable swelling or bruising. Dr. Lemke provided an amazing care, also explaining the procedure, answering the questions, and following up.

Dr. Lemke and his staff are simply amazing. I was referred to Dr. Lemke for an oral surgery that I was very nervous about. I also had another pre-existing condition that made surgery a little bigger deal than the average person. Dr. Lemke made sure I was 100% taken care of. He communicated with my other Doctor to make sure surgery was safe for me. I would highly recommend Dr. Lemke to anyone needing oral care. My surgery went seamlessly. He even personally followed up with me later that day.

Today I had my last two wisdom teeth removed and I can say that everything went smooth I love the staff here nice and professional and Dr. Lemke did a wonderful job felt no pain and woke up with no pain! I was very nervous when I went in for oral surgery in preparation for my implants especially since I chose not to be sedated. Numbing the area was probably the most discomfort I experienced which was very minimal. I was surprised the procedure only took about 45 min. I had no bleeding so no gauze needed and very little pain. I was very pleased with the outcome!

Dr Lemke and his staff are wonderful. Made my implant easy and pain free. Dr. Lemke's chair side assistant Henry is the best. Keeps you so relaxed they have to tell you you are all done. I would always return to this practice with dental needs. Highly recommend them.

Got 3 wisdom teeth extracted 2 months ago and he didn't prescribe any pain meds at all. Just an anti inflammatory. I had the worst 2 weeks of my life. When I called the week after because my pain was unbearable I didn't even get to speak with him. It was an assistant that called me back and told me to stretch my jaw out. Also, he only gave me 4 abx pills. Told them about that when I called for the pain and they just told me oh he must have made a mistake and forgot to give you the additional 12 for post surgery. Great Dentist.. Great Staff.. but also awsome technology!! he has a reasonably price 3D XRay machine that that can give you the best view of the teeth and bone structure to provide you with the most accurate look at the areas needing work.. Sometimes Dentists\Doctors will tell you that you need a procedure done and the procedure.. But this Xray will show you in very clear detail what CAN be done.. He was able to even show me and confirm that i had enough room and bone to complete my impants and even the size of screws that would be used. This Xray was very reassuring in the process that was needed.. My 1st experience with Dr. Lemke last week will be one I will never forget. It all started 5years ago with a condition that felt as if my throat was closing due to the constant neck pain and discomfort, inflammation to where it felt as if I had swallowed marbles and had them stuck in my throat. Unbearable Neck pain which would leave me taking myself to the ER on several occasions, The panic attacks from not knowing what was happening to my body. I'd been seen by Multiple ENT, GI, SLP, PCP and they all gave me series of testing including CAT scans, ultrasounds, blood work, biopsies, Even surgery from what I was being told was the problem. My life has been a constant battle with no remedy as to what was happening, Every possible test that was placed in front of me was Taken to bring my life back to normal in which I honestly can't remember right now how that feels. I was facing yet another surgery to remove a Sub mandibular Salivary gland in which i was being told was the Newest problem on my Condition. I was Scared because what if this surgery didn't fix my problem like before? I did some in depth online searching and years of writing medical journals on myself to try to find my own cure lead me to see Dr. Lemke and his staff for an evaluation. He performed a 3D X-ray and My heart sank because I prayed for the moment that something could be seen and it finally happened. I have been seeing Dr. Lemke and his staff for about 10 years. I have had dental work performed by Dr. Lemke and esthetician services by his staff. Each experience has been wonderful. The doctor and his staff are very attentive, thorough, and friendly. I have been able to get appointments on short notice and am seen on or shortly after my appointment time. That is refreshing after waiting 20-30 minutes at many other doctor’s offices. I also appreciate the ease of getting to and from the office location. Take it from someone who have had worst experiences with dentists; teeth pulled without proper diagnosis of the source of pain, infected molar pulled without any antibiotics treatment (worst pain in my life), bad bridge replacement job, which sent me to Dr Lemke through a referral, and it was a blessing. Him and his staff were excellent to say the least. The customer service and treatment plan was excellent. His patient care unparalleled, and his magic touch left no pain and cured my anxiety.

Dr. Lemke is a great dentist he is very friendly and makes you feel comfortable, great bedside manner. He even called at 9pm to make sure my daughter was doing ok after her wisdom teeth were removed the day before, he asked if we had any questions and how she was doing. I reside in Laredo, Tx and for over 8 years I had been consulting with dentists in my hometown that gave me no hope for dental implants for I did not have enough bone and would require bone graft that for me was not an option financially. Being of a young age, missing teeth and wearing a partial that not properly fit, was affecting my social life and also affecting my health for eating very poorly. I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Lemke. He has placed 2 implants for me so far. I have not had any complications. I trust him implicitly. He is also an MD (not all Oral Surgeons are) so I feel I am in very competent hands especially since I needed sedation. I highly recommend him!

Dr. Lemke and his staff did a wonder job putting an implant in my mouth. They were professional and extremely supportive. I have had the implant in my mouth for ten years without any problems. You can't even tell the tooth is not real. I would recommend Dr. Lemke to others for care.
