Very knowledgeable, funny, and has a great bedside manor. Great doctor!

We’ve been coming to this office for 23 years! I’ve always been so pleased, and continue to be. Dr. McGahey is genuinely sincere and thoughtful. I cannot share enough appreciation.

Dr McGahey is a fabulous pediatrician. He doesn’t rush your appointment and takes his time to listen to your concerns. You can tell he truly cares about your child and enjoys his job. While there, you feel like his only patient. He’s more than willing to address any and all of your concerns. Highly recommend, Dr McGahey.

Dr. McGahey is an extremely caring, attentive, & knowledgeable pediatrician. He constantly stays up-to-date on all medical research, he provides detailed care & information, and he treats each child with respect, kindness & compassion. We honestly feel like he treats our twins with the same attentive kindness he'd give his own children! He is an amazing doctor and we are so happy to have him care for our family now, and for many years to come. :)

Dr. McGahey has been caring for my children for the past ten years. He is always attentive, answers questions and addresses concerns fully, and has excellent bedside manner with myself and the children. I refer all my friends and family with children to him, and will continue to do so. A wonderful practice.

Dr. McGahey and the other doctors we've seen at Lakeview Peds have always been great. I never feel rushed out of there and always feel that my children are cared for.

Dr. McGahey genuinely cares about every patient and has a wonderful bedside manner(office manner) that puts children at ease while at the doctor. He is thorough, listens well, and is very knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend him!

After switching doctors, I’m sad we didn’t start off going to doctor McGahey. We had such a pleasant experience for my baby girls well visit. The whole office was incredible to work with.

Dr. McGahey is always so thorough and he makes my son, who can be a bit anxious, feel comfortable. He is knowledgeable and is quick to respond to any questions that parents have.

Doctor McGahey is a really good doctor and I really feel he cares about his patients like they were his own family members. I would recommend him to all my family and friends.

My family has been seeing doctor Mcgahey for 9 years. He is very knowledgeable, makes it fun for the kids, is very kind and caring. He is patient and takes time to explain things so my kids understand and always makes time for not only my questions and concerns but my kids also. Hands down the best pediatrician in the area. He is so personable and knowledgeable and always takes the time to answer every question. My kids love him. I honestly wish he was a family doctor so we could all go to him.

Dr. McGahey always listens and takes time to answer all of our questions. My kids are comfortable and love how he explains things in a way they can understand. Great staff and experience!

We recently switched insurances and it’s been a difficult journey trying to find a dr. Dr. McGahey and his staff at the Clinton Township location have been awesome and so helpful to work with! We’ve met twice so far for appts for my sons and I appreciate his attention to detail and time spent with us as patients. I get the impression he truly cares for his patients and I am thankful we found him and this practice.

Dr McGahey is very professional and very personable. You can tell he enjoys what he does and he is extremely knowledgeable. He will take as long as you need and never in a rush. He is a blessing to know. My husband says “he’s amazing”.

We've been seeing Dr. McGahey for about 8 years now and he has always been outstanding to work with. He never rushes,a is extremely informative and amazing with my kids, he's been seeing both of them since they were babies.

Dr Mcgahey is alway professional very kind and caring. He’s been my son’s doctor for many years. He is always update on current practice. He also makes sure we are educated as well. 8/10 complaints are the patient wants an antibiotic for a virus. Please listen to the doctor’s explanation prior to writing negative reviews.

Very great experience doctor. His judgment is always 100% right. Outstanding doctor. Because of this doctor we did not move to Florida. the best doctor in Michigan .

I have been dealing with an on going issue with my 6 yr old. We normally see dr gappy (who we love) but when he got sick we could only get an appointment with dr mcgahey. We've seen him twice and I am so upset with the way he spoke to me treating me like I'm an idiot. I asked him to send my sons strep test out for a formal culture twice and he told me that was not going to prove anything different from the rapid test. Which is absolutely wrong. I can't stand doctors who treat me like I'm stupid
