Excellent hip replacement surgeon. Very personable, listens to his patients, and never seems to be in a rush while talking with you. Highly recommend Dr. Mehrle for hip replacement surgery.

My knee was in real bad shape. Dr Mehrle and his staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. Surgery was excellent without any complications.

I’ve been needing surgery & spent a great deal of time in my consideration of who would perform my TKR surgery. Dr Mehrle came highly recommended & I also watched the progress of many others where he performed their surgery. He has the best bedside manner, but even more importantly, he’s an amazing surgeon with an amazing staff. He’s kind and wants his patients to do well. Justin, his PA, was so kind and helpful as well!

When in for checkup and injection on my knee Dr. Merhle has been seeing me for last few years and has always explained my condition and working with me on my treatment very professional and knowledgeable treats you like you matter not just a number he is friendly , kind and coompassinate

Dr. Mehrle was recommended by several of my friends/acquaintances. He answered questions and relieved the major anxieties regarding upcoming hip replacement. He clearly was not rushing me through the assessment, which was comforting. So much appreciated the time he and his awesome staff devoted to me. I’ll update my review after surgery and recovery.

He listens to any problems you may have and recommends a course of action. And then schedules a follow up visit to see whether you are progressing. I would highly recommend Dr Mehrle.

Many friends and my Internist recommended Dr. Merhle. I could not be happier after my first visit. After months and months of pain, I have relief. He assured me so very compassionately and kindly about my necessary knee surgery. Dr. Merhle talked to me as a friend, and I appreciate his personable, professional demeanor. Dr. Mehrle at Mississippi Sports Medicine Took the time to discuss my MRI that showed a possible need for hip replacement. Dr Mehrle discussed the Anterior method of replacement he felt was best to perform, and how it was accomplished which was much appreciated, making me feel confident in the process as well as his abilities. It’s been 6 months since hip replacement and I find that the “NEW” hip performs even better than expected thanks to Dr. Mehrle.

I had a great visit with Dr Meshel He made me understand everything that was going on with my knees and he explain that I needed surgery and that we had a few other options to try before we get to the surgery part and I was very very very happy with the nurses as well

Very satisfactory

I really like Dr. Mehrle as a physician and he has the best bed side manners. I think we should have a choice of seeing him or his assistant.

Excessive wait time-3 hrs without any explanation or apology from staff

Excellent experience, from the parking lot to the vist with Dr. Mehrle. Dr. Mehrle and the staff are very special people and made me feel safe.

Dr. Mehrle is an excellent surgeon who genuinely cares about his patients and take time to listen to their concerns.

Kerk was very professional and considerate. Explained that I was a candidate for surgery, and said I would know when the time was right. Great staff. We Jacksonians are fortunate to have such a facility as Sports Medicine.

Have had two hip replacements by Dr. Mehrle within six month time span. Recovery went so well with first and other hip failing by same diagnosis, I was glad to be scheduled for second hip replacememt with him. Very professional. His staff is great! My recovery for both has been excellent. Comment to me by other providers in my recovery: that he is a great surgeon. He's also approachable and comes across still like a small town guy.

Dr. Mehrle has given me back my life!!! Before my hip replacement I was in pain 24/7... I wish I had booked my surgery the 1st day I met him. He is a kind, patient and caring Doctor and I have not had a pain in that hip since I opened my eyes after surgery !!! If I have to have any other surgery on any joint that he works on....no one else will do it !!!! Thankful for this professional Surgeon !!!! Thank You Dr Mehrle !!!!!

Dr. Mehrle did a knee replacement December 2013 and I have not had one bit of pain or problems with this replacement. I am very active and have taught Scuba Diving and have never had an issue with the prosthetic he used. I highly recommend Dr. Mehrle and would use him if I needed the other knee replacement surgery.
