About Dr. Robert Patrick Norton
Reviews for Dr. Robert Patrick Norton
I recently had a lumbar fusion surgery with Dr. Robert Norton and Florida Spine Association. I cannot say enough about the experience. From the initial consultation appointment, all the way through the post-op recovery, the staff, and Dr. Norton were professional, caring, and attentive. Dr. Norton took the time to explain the procedure and answer any questions I had. The surgery went well and the recovery process has been smooth and with minimal pain. The entire staff at Florida Spine Association was friendly, organized, and helpful. I would highly recommend Dr. Norton and the staff at Florida Spine Association
Too busy in and out of appointment Just wants to operate office busy long wait for five minutes
I very good experience with a excellent surgeon, I'm very pleased with the result and would without question recommend Dr. Norton
Very large group. Agree with others who rated this group low. Dr. Norton was OK; spent less than 5 minutes. Administration poor, disorganized, needs improvement. Billing subpar. When calling, the second option after another doctor's office is the LEGAL Department (LOL, that's assuring to patients). Overall mediocre experience.
Dr. Norton and his staff are first-rate from start to finish. I started seeing Dr. Norton 2 years ago. I was impressed when he told me that back surgery should be a last resort and he referred me to his pain partner. After 2 years, the shots were not working anymore and Dr. Norton said it was time for surgery. He calmly explained in great detail what he would have to do and took the time to answer any questions we had, explaining things and making sure we understood what he was saying. He made the whole process as “painless” as this kind of thing can be. When you have an appointment you frequently have to sit and wait quite a while for your turn, but having him help you is WELL worth the time.

If you are a federal work comp or more than likely any work comp patient trying to receive good, fair, honest and decent treatment, please STAY AWAY from this place. Dr. Norton and Dr. Burroughs both lied bold face to me in regards to my treatment and didn’t care at all in my opinion for my overall well-being. They will certainly play with your treatment and time with no regard for what you and your love ones are experiencing because of a health condition that can be or lead to being disabled permanently. After the CEO Paul Bruning called me today in regards to my treatment being discharged from this practice and emailing me the discharge letter which didn’t happen that day, but I did receive it the day after from Mr. Bruning himself on 10/2/2020. I still had to post to let others beware of these kind of practices. I’m a chronically ill less than fourty year old woman due to what started as a low back injury at work and I never knew healthcare can be so cruel before this injury happened. Don’t believe the hype up about some of these reviews because I wouldn’t want to deal with any DOCTOR who can do this to any other human being. My 92 and 84 year old parents had an appointment with Dr. Norton and were kept waiting for almost 2 hours at which point they left. My mother, the patient, is in excruciating pain and to be kept sitting there for that length of time is inexcusable.I can only hope they don’t treat all their patients this way. Perhaps an explanation or an offer to reschedule would have been a better way to handle this situation. The doctor is knowledgeable, but when making appts, Nicole has been awful to deal with. We wasted our time and drove there to see the PA, only to have to drive there again to get xrays taken. When I called to make the appt for the xrays (after having spoken to the PA), Nicole said she had to confirm with the PA that i wasn't lying about having to come in for the xrays. Nicole has been rude and unhelpful every time I have had to call, and now she basically called me a liar. I do not recommend this office unless you are ok with being treated disrespectfully, and you can direct your own care. The best spinal surgeon ever!
I 100% recommend Dr. Norton
]surgery was a complete success and recovery is complete
In January of 2020, unbeknownst to me, I experienced a severe case of sciatica pain down my right leg. I visited my Chiropractor on different occasions with no relief in sight. During the middle of Covid-19, I made an appointment with a Orthopedic Surgeon, after an xray and MRI he couldn't determine what was wrong and he then requested a couple of session of PT to relieve the pain and a referral for a pain management doctor. Through my insurance plan, I found the Florida Spine Associates. I made an appointment with Dr. Burrough and within 5 minutes of our consultation, he saw on the MRI that I had a Synovial Cysts on my L1 resting againt my sciatica nerve. We did a couple of rounds of Epidural to relieve the pain, but that was just masking the pain. After several consultations via remote and with Dr. Robert Norton, we decided to have lower spine surgery to remove the cysts. It is now two weeks since my surgery and I have no pain whatsover. God bless the team of Florida Spine Associates for guiding me through this process. Folks, spine surgery works!! Dr. ROBERT NORTON IN MY OPINION IS THE BEST THERE IS, I WENT TO HIM IN OCTOBER Unable to walk, Had surgery in November Now I pray for him and his wonderful staff who were so nice and sympathetic? They all should live forever. Thank you guys.
Dr. Norton was great, he explained the surgery and the possible side effects but most of all he made me feel comfortable. Anything with your neck (ACDF 2 levels) is scary but he put my fears at ease and I am better now than before the surgery.
I am so happy I found Dr. Norton, I went to see him with severe back pain. After viewing my mri's, he said I had severe arthritis in my neck causing me to suffer from Cervical Stenosis of the spine.. Two months later I had surgery, ACDF which was a very serious procedure. From the time I went to his office, pre opt. and post opt., everyone was extremely professional and caring. Thank you Dr. Norton and all your helpful staff for getting me on the mend. I am so happy I found Dr. Norton, I went to see him with severe back pain. Dr. Norton is a consummate professional. Around May 2019, I woke up one morning with a medium degree of sciatica in my leg left, with the pain originating in my lower left back. I still cannot pinpoint exactly where or how I hurt it, whether it was in the gym, helping a friend move, developing a habit of constantly crossing my legs at my desk, or something else. Regardless, the pain just continued to get worse and worse. As I knew, despite however significant the issue in my back was (I had no idea at the time), that surgery was a last resort for me, I sought alternative methods to alleviate the pain and rectify the issue. Some of the methods I used include: constantly applying ointment (such as an icy hot roller) to my back to ease the muscle tension, chiropractic care, percussion gun therapy on myself, deep tissue massages, and extended use on an inversion table. All of these methods helped, but they were all band-aids: temporary solutions to a seemingly permanent problem, and many of them resolved the pain for no more than an hour, sometimes less. Considering how young I am, only 30 years of age, as well as how active I’ve been over the course of my life, I felt I could weather the storm without the use of surgery. I was wrong. Knowing how much of my life I still had to live, the time had come to take extreme action before this ailment overtook my entire life. I found Dr. Norton via a Google search and read reviews raving of his qualifications and also patient success after surgery. It was a no-brainer. After receiving an MRI on my lumbar spine and determining that I had a herniated disk on my L5-S1, I decided to go through with surgery. On September 23, 2020, Dr. Norton performed a lumbar microdiscectomy on my herniated disk. The thing that really stands out to me about the surgery itself was that I did not feel the need to use any painkillers whatsoever post-surgery for my incision. That spoke volumes to me about how much care Dr. Norton and the staff placed on my body that day. More importantly, after a short time of recovery (for those who undergo this procedure, the most effective way to recover is to WALK as much as possible), I was back to performing activities I was physically unable to perform a year prior, such as weight-lifting, walking long distances, and even standing in one spot for more than 30 seconds (yes, the sciatica was that bad). I went from a pain level of 10.5 to 1 in a matter of less than two months after surgery, and Dr. Norton and his staff was with me every step of the way. At 30 years old, I thought my life was over. I never use overly literal phrases like this impulsively, but I can confidently say that Dr. Norton saved my life. Thank you Dr. Norton, and God bless you. Dr. Norton is a consummate professional. Dr. Norton is an excellent surgeon who is well informed on the latest procedures and protocols. Both my husband and I have been his patients. His skills in the operating room gave us back our quality of life without the pain. We have recommended him to several people who have all had success.
Let me start off by saying you won’t get a better surgeon and doctor, From his EXCELLENT bedside manner and skills, Dr Norton is the very BEST in South Florida. He’s the surgeon who all other doctors and surgeons refer their patients to AND the one who does all the complicated surgeries that all other surgeons can’t do. I had an ACDF C-6/7 with Dr Robert Norton on October, 2018. I was also lucky to have Dr Philip Saville (Florida spine associates) in the room who assisted Dr Norton with my surgery. It’s been two years since the surgery and from the minute I woke up from it, I’ve been PAIN FREE. Recovery consisted of wearing a soft neck collar brace for a couple weeks and walking a lot. I would call it a privilege to be a patient of his outstanding, warm, friendly and state of the art practice! ???? Saw this doctor today after feeling pretty hopeless. His empathy and bedside manner impressed me immediately. Not like the others who rushed me out and offered majorly crazy surgery (I am considerably young and do not want surgery). I feel confident in his approach, he took the time to thoroughly explain everything, and I finally see a light at the end of this tunnel of the worst ongoing pain of my life. Very impressed. Dr. Robert Norton and a medical resident asked a few questions about her pain, where it was and what medications she took. He never physically examined her. He looked at the MRI and talked to a voice recorder repeating what the radiologist report said. He did not talk with us. He never showed us the imagining or explain anything. We are intelligent people and needed some compassion His arrogance and poor bedside manner were frustrating and infuriating. She came to him scared and in pain, seeking some answers and he showed little compassion. Once he realized that no surgery was needed, he wanted to pass her onto his in-office colleague pain management pain doctor. My wife had unanswered questions about covering up the pain. My wife tried to ask him her question. She was frustrated with him. He got angry and yelled that this was inappropriate. He is a large man and tried too physically intimidate her. he came off like an arrogant, hot headed uncaring, egotistical bully.
I was referred to Dr Norton. I had brought in a recent MRI, CT and plain films, which were uploaded into their system. Long wait in waiting room filling out paper work. Then repeat long wait, as an assistant or PA asked same questions. X-ray tech came in and I asked what he planned to do (already uploaded all possible exams needed). Tech got confused and walked out and did nothing (but I was billed for x-ray and lab work???). Dr Norton came in, said he was the best, and said he would schedule me in 1 1/2 months for 10 hr surgery. Never looked at me, never examined me, never took a history. Most likely looked at my xray exams but you do not operate on the basis of only xray without confirmation with physical exam and findings. Usually most physicians are taught to treat based on history, examination and use lab and xray as confirmatory. I knew enough to say thank you and walked out.
Long wait time and ridiculous amount of paperwork did not bother me. I went in prepared with CD's of recent MRI's, CT's and regular spine x-rays. When an x-ray tech came to do x-rays at time of visit, he was confused as to what to do since all that needed to be done were already uploaded onto their system (although, the invoice from the visit included a bill for lab work and x-rays). Dr came in after 2 hrs, explained I needed extensive (over 10 hrs surgery) and he was going to give me a date. Having had previous appointments for my back, I typically had histories, full relevant exams that correlated with x-rays. Having medical knowledge, I wasn't going with this approach. Treat me like a patient, give me options, talk to me - don't book me and say I'll operate,. What do you plan on operate. CT's and MRI's don't necessarily give the answer so if that is what you plan to operate on, don't! PS, I walked out.
I waited close to 3 hours for a 90 second appointment, he was not able to answer my questions because he was very busy
I was suffering from a great deal of pain from sciatica in my left leg, with the pain originating in my lower left back. After undergoing an MRI on my lumbar spine, Dr. Norton performed a lumbar microdiscectomy on my herniated disk L5-S1. Within less than three months, I was back to 100% and performing activities that I couldn't perform just prior to surgery, including standing in one spot for more than 30 seconds at a time (yes, the pain was indeed that bad). Dr. Norton and the staff at Delray Medical Center, including the staff at Florida Spine Associates before, during, and after surgery, placed the utmost care on my body and got me back to my old self. At 30 years old, I thought my life was over. Dr. Norton has restored my hope for a high quality of life!
The doctor and staff are top notch. After my back surgery the recovery was quick and my fears of complications gone. There have been none. Thanks for a job well done. I had been in constant pain. Now it’s just occasional and I’m still only 6 months out. Highly recommend.
Dr. Norton never showed up and his assistant did and said he was tired and went home after surgery. Very unprofessional!
Dr Norton is a very personable and competent surgeon. I have consulted with him on several occasions and he has always been forthright and not alarming. I recently had cervical spinal surgery with him and am making excellent progress. I am a spinal surgery veteran, having had six previous surgeries on my lumbar spine in Manhattan. The care I have received from this doctor and this office, equals the care I received in the city. There is no need to doctor 'shop' if you are in a situation where spinal surgery is recommended. You will find everything you need right here in Florida.
Thank you dr. Norton this is the first time in almost 3 years I'm not in pain.

I thank God for Dr. Robert Norton for being a skilled surgeon and freeing me of the excruciating pain. The MRI showed a cyst on my spine compromising the sciatica nerve causing excruciating pain. Spondylolisthesis, Disk slippage L4, L5 and S1. I never in my life experience pain like this. On January 22, 2019 I had back surgery on 2 levels, spinal fusion. Dr Norton said the mri did not show everything and he found more during surgery. I had Immediate relief after surgery. The 2 incisions were sore, but I recovered quick. Physical therapy started 2 weeks after surgery. 4 weeks after surgery I did light workouts on the treadmill. I wore a bone stimulator everyday for 2 hours. It’s been over a year now since I had surgery and I am so happy to be back to normal and free of pain. Thank you Dr. Norton. Dr. Norton has performed cervical and lumbar spinal surgeries on me within the last two years. I had put them off for years and suffered constantly from severe arthritis that had done a lot of damage to my spine. I also had congenital curvature of the spine, which was excruciating at times. He has restored my life with these procedures. Two orthopedists I have seen regarding my arthritis issues have told me Dr. Norton is regarded as an excellent surgeon by his fellow doctors. I think he knows his stuff, and his assistant, Dan, is also very competent and kind. I highly recommend this practice.
Staff was friendly, and informative. The front desk, and total staff were extremely professional, and personal. I was treated exceptionally well.
The office seemed to be disorganized and unfriendly. The doctor does not respect the patient’s time- we were left waiting in exam room over an hour and no apology or explanation- while you can hear the doctor chit chatting with the staff in the office. The doctor is dismissive, condescending and so full of himself- leaving the patient confused and concerned. The quick transition from consultation to let’s schedule surgery and the negative attitude to a second opinion should have set off the red light. The topper was when we called the office to speak to the scheduling people and then the practice manager and neither called back after multiple calls and voicemails. There are many better choices for your health and safety!!
Excellent! I could not be happier. I had a very involved surgery T3 to Si. 3 previous surgeries by other physicians failed.
I went to Dr.Norton and was evaluated by his PA and given xrays, a back brace, and an order for an MRI. I subsequently received a bill for $9,333. I had never received such a bill for an office visit ever.in addition I was chsrged$50 for being a no show. They charged me for being a no show but were able to generate a 9000 plus bill The back brace alone was billed for $7000 but can be purchased for $200. orless. I find this office to be very questionable and feel I was billed in an unscrupulous manner and this practice needs watching.
Would NEVER recommend him. Operates on you and never shows up after that.
Made an appointment and Dr. Norton reviewed MRI and suggested surgery After surgery the results were truely remarcable. After one week no pain no medication no walker no brace. Thank you Dr Norton
Dr Norton and all his staff were extremely professional. I highly recommend Dr Norton for spinal surgery.
Excellent outcome after surgery. Caring and competent from initial evaluation to follow-up.

The surgery l needed for scoliosis was necessary and serious for me to live a sound, healthy, pain free life. Dr.Robert Norton was the first Dr I chose to discuss my surgery with. Dr. Norton is a renowned surgeon for spinal deformities.Dr. Norton was very clear, companionate and to the point as he explained the surgery process to me. This was a 2 day surgery 1st day 4hours to prepare me,rest for 1day and 12hours the 3rd day. I had to get several opinions, Boston to the head of Massachusetts General Hospital, to N.Y.C. Hospital for Special Surgery and to University of Miami. After 4 doctors l knew then that Dr. Norton was the most skilled, compassionate dr for me.it was necessary for me to go to a rehabilitation facility for 2weeks. after my surgery. Disappointing! Took a peek at MRI and sad I am not a surgical candidate. Which is fine! The problem stemmed from a super long wait despite a scheduled appointment, and Dr. Norton basically had one foot out the door during the whole consult. Failed to answer my questions. I felt as if I was imposing. Especially since I was sumarily dismissed within five minutes of him walking into the room. Horrible bedside manner, non communicative, and disrespectful. Kyphosis is causing restrictive lung issues
Dr Norton was referred to me by my primary physician. I wasn’t hesitate as Dr Norton has a stellar reputation. I came in with a severe herniated disc that was giving me unbearable pain which was unrelenting, His EXPERTISE and caring concern for me made my decision to do an Anterior Cervical Discectomy with Fusion and I woke up PAIN FREE on 10/19/18. My quality of life is back. Thank you Dr Norton and your incredible staff. Big thanks to Jessica for putting up with me! I highly recommend!
I have had spinal pain issues for several years. in 2017, cervical radiculopathy from my neck to my shoulder and down might right arm into my hand. I was house bound for 7 months. The pain was excruciating until Dr.Norton performed surgery on August 27, 2018. Relief from unrelenting pain felt like a miracle to me. I have no hesitation in having performing my lumbar surgery in January 2019. Do not hesitate or live in pain, call Dr. Norton.
Worst follow up actually no follow up of a surgeon ever!!! He just wants to cut and never know the results. Should never use this man. Monster!!!!!!
Seems to have solved some major issues with minimal downtime. Pain is gone and I have no ataxia, vertigo, and my left leg works again!

I am a 31 year old male and prior to my two level disc replacement from Dr. Norton, I had experienced almost 5 years of ‘off and on’ issues with bulging disc flare ups (C5-6 and 6-7). Things continued to worsen earlier this year and another MRI showed my discs had finally fully herniated and the pain became constant and unbearable. Prior to this I had seen about a dozen orthopedic doctors, chiropractors, physical therapists, massage therapists, acupuncturists and I also had 3 epidural steroid injections which helped briefly but not long term! You name it, I tried it. Pins and needles and pain down my left arm were normal over the previous year or two, but now it was constant and extremely intense. Constant muscle spasms in chest, left arm, left trap, and upper back. I lost function of my tricep and experienced pretty severe atrophy and weakness in my left arm. Grip strength was terrible! I also lost feeling in my left thumb and index finger and experienced numbness down my forearm. At this point I knew surgery was my only option, and Thank God I was referred to Dr. Norton! Now, to get this out of the way- I have read some reviews complaining that the wait was extremely long and the office was too busy etc- well there are plenty of empty surgeon offices down here that will always see you on time- there’s a reason they are empty and so many people want to see Dr. Norton! He is amazing! As someone working in the hospitality industry- there’s a reason good restaurants are busy, and the bad are not....but enough of that! Dr. Norton is extremely thorough in his communication. So you really understand your condition, the risks involved, and your options. I met with 8 different surgeons for consultations in the area, Dr. Norton was the obvious choice! He is confident in his abilities yet very down to earth. You may wait a bit to see him but once you are with him he does not rush you at all and will answer as many questions as you can ask. For the record, I think the longest I waited past my appointment time was 20-30 minutes. Leading up to the surgery I spent 8 weeks out of work and on the couch in between numerous doctors appointments. But I’m glad I did my homework and found Dr. Norton. On September 5, 2017, Dr. Norton performed a two level disc replacement (C5-6,6-7) using the LDR Mobi-C device. I was able to eat solid food that night (some people can’t for weeks because of the anterior surgery process as well as breathing tube) I walked out the next morning at 9am with a lot of the nerve pain already gone. I spent another 2 weeks resting and the residual nerve pain lessened daily. I was experiencing some soreness and stiffness between my shoulder blades- but pain was significantly decreased. I was able to begin Physical Therapy in week 3! I returned to work just 3 weeks post-op. At my week 6 follow up the X-ray showed the discs were still perfectly in place and I was virtually pain free. At week 8, my left arm was 78% compared to my right (at week 3 when I started PT I was 50%). I have continued pushing myself with PT without over doing it. I have my 12 week follow up in just a couple days as can’t wait for him to see my progress! I have began my active lifestyle again and it is so amazing to have my life back- I owe it all to Dr. Norton and his team! 1 year ago, Dr. Norton performed spinal fusion surgery on my lower back. Prior to surgery, I was experiencing excruciating pain in my lower back and throughout my legs. I was even developing swelling in my legs along with constant numbness. My everyday life was a struggle. Since the surgery, I have regained those life activities most take for granted. Standing, walking and working out have become much easier with little to no pain, and the swelling doesn’t happen as often anymore. Dr. Norton and his staff are very professional and attentive, in both the office setting and before/after surgery at the hospital. I appreciate the work and attentiveness of Dr. Norton, his PA Sean and all of the staff. Dr. Norton is truly the best at what he does. He was absolutely honest with me and said ‘. as you have been told by other surgeons, your back is too bad to consider surgery.’ BUT I can stabilize your stress fractures with kyphoplasty (cement glue ) in your upper back and shoulder blades and you will have LESS PAIN. Disappointed? For sure. I wanted my straight as a board back on my back attached securely to my spine. . Dr. Norton , A surgeon! Found me an alternative ! That’s a first. True it is, my upper back has less pain.
I have suffered with back pain for 20 years. I have had epidurals, ablasions, have done therapy, work out, etc.. Nothing has worked. I came to Dr Norton and he said he could do non evasive surgery on me ...I’m 4 weeks out and I can’t say enough!! My legs are now pain free,I can feel my foot and my back feels the best it has in years!! I only wished I had found him years ago. He has made me very happy!!

Excellent patient care and follow-up Before my surgery day to day function was difficult. I am pleased to say that is no longer the case. I am now able to function normally and back to my routine of exercise.
He's an amazing surgeon, he operated on my neck & back and the results were better than I had even expected. I wouldn't let anyone else other than him operate on me in the future!

Dr. Norton just operated on my back. I entered the hospital unable to walk and walked out a new person. He is kind, compassionate and understanding. He takes his time and you never feel rushed. Other spine surgeons I had seen wanted extensive surgery . He said if I needed it he could do it but that he felt it was not necessary. Plus he called me from his cell phone to see how I was feeling a couple of days after my surgery. ''Feel free to call me you need me". He is the BEST.

Never!!! Horrible follow up with patients. Don't even know if he did a good job with my dad bc he never followed up in 6 months. Pathetic
If you would like no other options except spine surgery., give Dr . Norton a call. He is more than willing to operate rather than discuss other possiblites. After his quick rush to schedule me for a fusion surgery he could not even show me the apparatus that he would be placing on my spine. May be a great surgeon but boy does he need a class on compassion. Feeling much better after my hard work and research on spine issues. Surgery is the last resort! Money is all this guy cares
Never coming back! All the staff is clearly frustrated at this place. I'm still wondering why I waited 2 hours even though I was the only one in the lobby. The doctor was in a hurry and I had never the chance to ask questions. His focus was on convincing me to schedule a surgery and he got visibly annoyed when I mentioned that I'd rather get a second opinion prior to make a decision about surgery.
I am pleased to say a year ago I had a life changing surgery and still re cooperating from surgery. I am entirely grateful for their precision, compassionate care, and professional demeanor. The after care was phenomenal and brought hope to my life. Day by day I push along and see myself moving mountains. Thank you Dr. Norton and Dr Foltz! Happy Holidays! Many Blessings! With Light and Love, Roxana
I was recommended to Dr. Norton by a work associate in late November of 2016 due to a 10 cm ruptured (extruded) disc that had become problematic to the point where I had lost the use of my calf muscle. Dr. Norton advised me of my options and suggested alternatives in lieu of surgery. With no improvements after 2 weeks, I was scheduled for emergency PLIF surgery of L5-S1. Calf was back to full strength in less than 6 months. Working out and back to active lifestyle again. - Thanks Dr. Norton

I can't say enough about my experience with Dr. Norton and his staff. If anyone has ever suffered extreme back pain, you know that being seen and scheduled for surgery quickly is the only thing you think and care about and "Bed Side Manner" is a luxury you could care less about. Dr. Norton and his staff were all amazing!. Yes a successful surgery is the main goal, but when you can get both you know you made the best choice. Thank you all for everything.

I am recovering from a neck fusion and a three level lumbar fusion after previous failed back surgery. Dr. Norton and his staff have been very helpful and I am in very good shape. He answers questions and his team provide good answers and good supplemental care. Boca Regional is a fine hospital. I would highly recommend him. Remember that in 2017, delivery of healthcare using para-professionals is the norm !
Required a re-do surgery by another doctor after my neck surgery.
Waited more then 2 hours for him to see me, when he finally decided to came in the room he was very brief, he didn't even looked at my previous records and ordered me x-ray before even see me, when I had brought him my recent x-ray and MRI disc and reports that he didn't even mention. He was no help at all, he referred me to his partner Dr. Burrough in the same office and I walked out, they told me this one was always on time, lies. DON'T OVERBOOK APPOINTMENTS JUST TO BILL MORE INSURANCES.

Unorganized for sure. The first time we waited 3 hours to see him and almost 2hrs for the follow up visit.
Awesome Doctor, the wait is worth it! His PA is awesome and the Doctor is amazing!!!!
Dr. Norton was awesome! One of the best experience I have ever had with a Dr. He explains everything that is going to happen, before surgery. He has a great bed side manner. I would recommend him to all!
I had been suffering with neck pain and spasms for two years. Was treated by chiropractors, massage therapist and physical therapists. I had pain specialist treat me with trigger point injections, Facet injections and RF Ablation. Finally, my chiropractor, Dr Kyzor Dahdah, suggested I speak with Dr. Robert Norton. I met with the Dr. and discussed surgery. He explained it clearly and took the least evasive option. It has now been one month and I am happier than ever. The results and recovery are better than I expected. If you are suffering with neck pain, I strongly recommend you speak with Dr. Norton. I wish I had done this sooner. If I could leave this man negative stars-- I would. Waited four hours with an appointment to see a man full of himself. Once I was taken back I waited another hour. FOUR HOURS. He ordered me to have x-rays taken before he even came in the room or looked at the MRI I brought with me. When he did finally appear he was brief. He said I needed surgery. He didn't explain the procedure, follow up, or anything. He stood up and said "I'll have my surgical girl come in to book it" and he left. So did I.

RUN AWAY! Dr is as nice until he gets paid after doing surgery. After surgery good luck talking to or seeing him. Office staff is incompetent and unorganized. My surgery was supposed to take 1 hour to 1.5 hours MAX. Over 4 hours later I came out of surgery. Dr never explained what additional work or what was going on. 5 weeks post surgery saw another surgeon who recommends surgery AGAIN. Surgery mill. You are just a number at Dr Norton's. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED
