Very seldom have any problems. Dr Smith is one of the best cardiologist I've had.

I have been a patient of Dr. Smith for several years. He and his staff are outstanding in every respect. The check-in process, quality and efficiency of information gathering, attention to detail during visits, and check-out process are second-to-none. it is clear that everyone in Dr. Smith's office, and at the Oklahoma Heart Institute in general, have a genuine focus on patient care and a desire to heal. I have recommended Dr. Smith to many people, and continue to do so. I do not think my medical needs could be better served. And this is not some automated bot. Very informative. Great explanations. Didn't feel rushed or that I was unnecessarily taking up his time. Great listener and very caring person.

In preparation for a surgery, I needed a chemical stress test, as I can't run on a treadmill. This process was so easy for me! Every medical worker knew exactly what to do and what to tell me....it worked like a well-oiled machine. Each person was very professional and kind. I truly appreciate what they did for me.

I grew up in a family of medical professionals, but could not be more impressed with the care I receive from Dr. Smith and his nurse. He has treated me proactively, but conservatively, based on my family history. I’m not the easiest patient and value their intelligence and communication

Dr. Smith is an exceptional cardiologist and has treated my dad for more than 20 years with amazing results. I had my first visit with Dr. Smith and was impressed with the length of time explaining tests and procedures needed to find out my own cardiac issues. Staff was prompt, friendly, going above and beyond and called to check on my concerns and issues that day. Highly recommend Dr. Smith and Oklahoma Heart team for all of our families cardiac care. First visit - Friendly staff. Clean office. Dr. Smith spent time with me. Didn’t rush. He does this all day everyday but understands that I don’t. Solid treatment plan. Explained the challenges but focused on the positive. Nurse Lisa was great also. Made sure I had all the notes and understood my instructions. So glad to have this team fighting for me. DO NOT GO HERE!!! This is the worst place to go if you need a cardiologist. I have waited on hold for 15 minute trying to speak to someone. Then got disconnected ~ twice. The I contacted the after hours answering service in person I spoke to a woman who took my name and phone number.. NEVER heard back from these people. I believe they are in over their heads. They are more interest in QUANTITY rather than QUALITY. i WOULD HATE TO HAVE A SERIOUS HEART CONDITION AND NEED TO CONTACT THEM.., DO NOT GO HERE!!! I would not recommend Dr. Smith. I had a very negative experience after having been in CCU for 6 nights and following up with his office. Lack of competence from staff. Doctor rude and berating.
