Great visit there. On time, informative , explain condition and options to correct knee problem. I elected to have a shot in my knee to aleviate pain and it works for now. I know replacement is coming up and Dr. Thornsberry will be the one to do it. Very pleasant visit.

Service with Dr Thornsberry & his staff is excellent. Starting with Eric who greets you & takes you back to the exam room to his P.A. Melissa who is just awesome & so knowledgeable. The office is very professional yet friendly and never rushes you, however, never fails to apologize if they are running off schedule. Dr Thornsberry is always courteous & takes time to examine you, discuss questions you have & always ends the visit by reminding you to call office if you need anything.

Excellent doctor i really like dealing with him he listens to what you have to say he allows you to make the decision as to what and when you want what done. . He's busy but he listens.

I was referred to Dr. Thornsberry after relocating to the Macon area. I knew that I would need knee replacement surgery within a year or so. Both friends had Dr. Thornsberry perform their surgeries and were well pleased with their outcome. I'll be scheduled for surgery soon.

Full Right Knee Replacement 8 week follow-up was short & sweet due to my excellent range of motion, lack of pain & increased strength. I'm looking forward to having left knee replacement in the Fall of this year.

Melissa very personable. Not rushed. All questions were answered.

I did not have any problems after surgery. Recommend physical therapy was exactly what I needed and I was up and walking in a short time.

Dr. Thornsberry & the staff at Ortho Georgia are great.

He is always courteous and pleasant, and is the pinnacle of professionalism. The promptness and service of Ortho Ga. Is commendable and certainly the exception not the rule when seeing Drs. I highly recommend them.

Love Dr Thornsberry and his staff..I always feel that they and he have actually put thought into my case and it shows with the treatment I recieve.

Obviously knowledgeable, skilled, and experienced, he's also patient, listens, and is available. He cares about his patients. He is "old school" in every fine sense of that term, he feels responsibility for and cares about the larger community as a whole.

All aspects f my knee surgery , from pre-op to post-op were great.

Dr. Thornsberry possesses all of the qualities you desire in a doctor. He is timely with his appointments and procedures. His staff is high quality and attentive. He will give you as much or as a little information as you desire. He has a quiet, calm confident manner and gives you options to consider. I had total knee replacement and prior to agreeing to surgery, he tried all other methods to remedy my knee pain. After several months and no progress, we both came to the same conclusion, that it was time for surgery. I’m a big fan of Dr. Thornsberry and his team.

Dr Rob is the best. Excellent doctor, with great bedside manner. He gave me two new hips and I feel awesome.

Dr. Thornsberry is an excellent physician and has a great personality

Originally saw Dr. Thornsberry with a torn meniscus. After evaluation, he sent me to physical therapy to see if I could avoid surgical repair. Spent the time and did the exercises at home. Thankfully, everything is better at this time. I appreciate that he didn't want to rush into a surgical solution that would make it impossible to work.

I needed a hip replacement and could not figure out whether to go with the anterior or posterior approach. After being evaluated by Dr Thornsberry I knew I needed the anterior approach and him to be my surgeon. I am now almost three months post-op and very pleased. My pain was gone in the recovery room and replaced by surgical pain which improved quickly. Physical therapy with Patrick was fantastic and still doing those exercises. I am a physician and highly recommend Dr Thornsberry and his entire team.

Professional, thorough, and personable. I have had both knees and a hip replacement, and the results were much better than anticipated. I would recommend him to anyone for orthopedic work.

He gave me the news I wanted but not sure that what we doing is going to work. I just didn't want surgery. Going back in a few weeks and we'll see if I change my details.

Excellent surgeon, excellent staff!

Dr. Robert Thornsbury replaced both my knees 2 years ago. Others tell me that they have never seen anyone else that has had both knees replaced that can do as good as I can. He is a Great ortho surgeon and doctor.

Dr. Thornsberry was fantastic! The surgery went really well and he told me exactly what to expect and what to do to recover. His staff is also fantastic and every single one of them was very friendly and on time. So glad I had him do this full knee replacement.

Very informative,to the point.

Dr. Thornsberry is outstanding. My knee is as good as new. No pain and full motion.

been going to Dr Thornsberry since 2009, after a bad experience with another orthopedic for 2 years prior, but my cousin had used Dr Thornsberry for both of her knees and she is 10 years older than myself, i was not having any luck with the previous doctor and I made an appointment with Dr Thornsberry, he took one look at my knee and said , we can fix that, (it would not straighten out from the previous orthopedic operation on the meniscus, within 2 weeks, I was on Dr. Thornsberry's schedule and did not have a complete knee replacement, as what the other doctor said i had to have, but a partial replacement, I have not had any issues with it. Dr. Thornsberry is one of the best Orthopedic surgeons I have visited. I have seen many over my 50+ years of adult life. He listens, discusses options, and genuinely cares how you feel. I recommend him highly.

Ortho Georgia is the best, Dr. Thornsberry is the best and this is the second surgery I've had with him, Shoulder reconstruction and now my right knee reconstruction. I would highly recommend Dr Thornsberry to anyone.

My husband and I go to OrthoGeorgia and we are both patients of Dr. Robert Thornsberry. He operated on both of my husband’s knees. He did a wonderful job. My husband has had no problems with his new knees. The rehabilitation department is great, too. We both have had to use the rehabilitation department. The therapists are wonderful. I see Dr. Thornsberry for a couple of issues. He and his staff have helped me so much. I saw him today and was pleased with my treatment and experience. Shoulder Manipulation, great staff and care OP

Dr. Thornesberry did my total knee replacement. I consider him the best! Great experience ! I will use him again in the future for second knee!

Dr. Thornsberry assessed my problems after viewing my X-Rays and told me about my bad arthritis and how he confidently would be able to do my total knee replacement surgery. Man of few words, but all about action.

This is my third surgery here and I can’t say enough good things about these people!

Dr Thornesberry is quick and efficient and painless in his procedure. He is friendly and respectful in his demeanor. He is also considered the best in his area of Ortho, among the general public. You could not ask for a better doctor.

So far it was a great experience, friendly knowledgeable staff, surgery was not an all day event. Clean pleasant surgery center made me feel very comfortable. PT was originally planned for in home, but was moved to office since I live out in the country. Hopefully my first visit will be the only one at 8:30 am.
