Met wit Sarah the PA this visit. She like Dr Lugo was very professional. Sarah administered a cortisone shot for me. We discussed options including surgery.

I hear the doctor is great, too bad I couldn't see him. Made my appointment 5 weeks ago, no-one confirm the appointment and when I called repeatedly and left messages to confirm the appointment no call back so I guess you don't need any more business. Simply leaving a voicemail on someone's line is not a confirmation. I never got any message so how do you know you even had the right line? Practice manager is really rude

Dr. Lugo is an exceptional surgeon and my rotator cuff surgery was a complete success.

Today I saw Dr. Lugo's assistant. She was very engaging and consulted with him. He is an awesome doctor. I have never had a problem with his staff.

Dr. Lugo successfully completed my TK surgery 7 days ago and all has gone well; however, I did develop an allergenic reaction to adhesive. Doctor Lugo identified it immediately and resolved the issue by changing the materials, and took the time to answer all my questions regarding my progress.

Dr. Lugo is one of the most understanding, patient and kind physicians I have met. He is a diamond in the rough. His assistant Jeanna is also a gem! The office is busy, crazy and always packed.. but Dr. Lugo’s caring demeanor and expertise are worth waiting for. He takes the time necessary to listen and does not make you feel rushed or just a number!

I was always impressed by Dr Lugo himself but his staff is everything but caring. They are Stoic . Have no compassion for the people in pain and treat you like an Insurance #. I have been going to them for years religiously... only because of Dr Lugo! Yvonne is the only staff member who.will call you back with compassion and kindness. I am changing to South FL. I saw Dr. Lugo’s MA for a follow up regarding my hip replacement. My surgery was May 2021 and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Dr Lugo is amazing, a very special doctor. His MA was excellent. Very attentive.

If you are looking for the best, you’ve found him. I cannot praise Dr. Lugo enough. His bedside manner is phenomenal and his worth as an orthopedic surgeon is at least a 6+. The office staff is great!

Dr Lugo and his staff are amazing. He takes the time to listen to your concerns and addresses them. I heard he was the best in replacing ACL and his recovery times are quicker compared to other surgeons. My recovery was faster than anticipated and I know Dr. Lugo's work was a huge part of it. Highly recommend!

I’m a senior female. As a new patient, I had a trigger finger with a lot of loss if use and pain in my left hand (it was called a carpal tunnel something, I believe). Dr Lugo asked if I wanted to try a steroid injection as the first course of treatment. I agreed. He did the procedure right then and there. He was gentle and precise. The pain soon left, my finger straightened and my hand was healed in less than a month. Best decision! I’m confident and actually looking forward to having orthopedic work done on the extremely painful and debilitating areas in my body in the near future.

Alex the PA was very thorough and gave me a great deal of time and a game plan for treatment. Dr. Lugo is very competent and also willing to give time.

I have been in pain since he did the surgery June 2020. I’m still suffering …I had to resign from my job. He is not helpful

TERRIBLE OFFICE STAFF!!! Extraordinarily rude. After leaving 2 messages a week apart, finally received a call back. When asked about my insurance I explained that I have medicare primary and an out of state BCBS plan(retiree of Washington DC BCBS), though I am a Florida resident. After repeatedly explaining to receptionist that my plan was not a Florida plan, she insisted I provide the PO box number from the back of my card so she could locate the plan, rather than using the actual member ID number from front of card. The receptionist then reported she couldn't find my plan...duh...because my card is not for a Florida BCBS plan...then put me on hold for 10 minutes. Someone else then got on the line and was so incredibly rude and then told me she would refuse to to continue taking information. Will find someone who has a MUCH BETTER OFFICE STAFF. Both my wife and I had total hip replacements performed by Doctor Lugo a truly gifted surgeon!!! (4) hours after surgery I walked up a set of stairs…(2) days using a walker (3) days using a cane …Zero pain !!!

Dr. Lugo performed complete hip replacement using superpath technique ! Every person on staff from administrative to medical support was excellent ! Dr Lugo leads a professional and caring team . Dr Lugo is thorough and skillful and gives you all necessary information related to your surgery! Has a relaxed and caring manner which instills trust and confidence ! Would recommend him without reservation !

From the reception to the check out everything was really good. Got my shots in both knees. Everyone was very happy and really nice and smiling.

Dr. Lugo and Alex Starek, PA give the best orthopedic care I've ever had. The staff is also very nice and very respectful. I especially love Yvonne and Gina.

This was a follow-up to my 11/19 hip replacement. It has been such an easy recovery with perfect results. Dr Lugo and his team are the best. Everyone is so nice and professional. Listen to all your needs and take care of them. I have arthritis and have had a good deal of pain in my shoulders. They are also treating me for this and have really helped a lot. I would highly recommend them.

Dr Lugo was very attentive to my problem and took care of me with no problem. The problem I had was with the office. My appointment was at 9:30 I got there at 9:20am. I filled out the recommended paper work since it was over one year since my last visit.. Everyone that came in after me was seen before me, I wasn't seen until almost 12:00pm. No one could tell me why I had to wait so long. when other people went a head of me. I know the doctor is very busy but almost 2 1/2 hrs. is a bit much.. Professional, competent, and courteous..

Dr Lugo is a peach of a man besides being an excellent orthopedic surgeon. He just did a new right hip for me. The office is very organized. His staff is professional and friendly. My results are great.

Have told numerous peeps about own personal incredible outcome following knee replacement. Also read good reviews of hip outcomes so am making hip referrals too ! (Recently retired RN :-). Dr Lugo explained about on going recovery and advice to avoid irritating activities. Very helpful. He is an exemplary physician. Warm kind caring animated personable. Haven’t seen Alex last 2 visits but want him to know that he gave great non ortho advice re lesion on other knee. Thought it was foreign body. He asked if I had a biopsy. I had not but did. And he was spot on ! Basal cell. 2 mohs procedures. Thank you Alex. I owe you ! Congrats Pop !!

Met with Alex, Dr Lugo’s PA & one of my favorite people! Had an X-ray to see if I damaged my repaired rotator cuff.

Dr. Lugo always listens and because of that always makes a huge difference in my wellness. Even though he is so busy, He always takes all the time you need with him and never makes you feel he’s rushing

Dr. Lugo has replaced my left hip 6 years ago & he will replace my right hip in January 2022. I trust him because I had a quick recovery with no complications. He has the best bedside manner with all his patients. Outstanding personality and sincere concern about his patients.
