Unfortunately, Dr. Carter didn’t listen to anything I said during my appointment on January 20, 2022. She diagnosed me before taking any vitals, blood work, or physically looking at my area of concern. She commented, “that will be addressed at another time,” when I mentioned symptoms I was having. I’m on Active Duty, and I don’t get many opportunities to leave work and care for myself, so I’m not sure what other time she was referring to. I made this appointment with her as my primary care provider to discuss all my health concerns. However, she was more concerned about me leaving than genuinely caring for me as her patient. After discrediting all of my symptoms, she left the room and dismissed me without any paperwork or support. I left feeling helpless and uncared for. I believe it was personal, so I hope she doesn’t treat all of her patients as she did me.
