This was my very first time looking for a surgeon I can trust to operate on my child. My son was afraid but he trust me to find someone that cared just has much has his Mother (Me). Dr. Hatley was awesome. He explain thoroughly, his staff was very knowledgeable and caring. Bedside manners means a lot to me and he has it. Thanks again Dr. Hatley, Daniel is recovery nicely. Did my daughter's surgery. Very kind and compassionate surgeon. I am a nurse of 31 years and I have seen compassionate doctors that were terrible surgeons, and vice versa. Thankfully, we found a highly skilled surgeon, who has a wonderful bedside manner. What a gem!

Removed my thyroid, took the WHOLE THING OUT at a very young age..... I was like 12 years old when he did the surgery, turns out to be the biggest nightmare of my life ..... I seriously feel 10000% worse then I did BEFORE he operated on me.... and it has been like 7 years ago now!

Thank GOD for this man & his staff! Gunshot wound 24 years ago & I'm still kicking!

When my granddaughter needed emergency surgery we were referred to the pediatric ER at .Augusta University Medical Center. I was extremely impressed with both Augusta University and Dr. Hatley. Dr. Hatley displays a degree of confidence that you can feel the minute he walks in the room. He is down to earth, explains everything in detail, and when your family member goes into surgery you know they are in good hands. Augusta University is fortunate to have Dr. Hatley.

Amazing Doctor! No other words! Him and his team saved my brothers life and we forever will be grateful! Highly recommend Dr. Hatley!

Highly recommend. He was very patient and answered all my questions based on medical data, as if he was teaching me. As a mom, it was music to my ears.
