Dr. Rodney Deleon Hollifield

Dr. Hollifield is a great physician. The billing department on the other hand is terrible. I called 4 weeks ago for a refund that is due to me, but as of now, have yet to receive it. I called several times and they continue to tell me that the refund request has been submitted. Demanded payment at the time of service, which I obliged although my insurance covers that visit because I am not new to the practice and it was only a follow up visit. The billing dept of this practice needs to do better

I am a music composer, so when I had the condition of a detached retina, I was very concerned how the ramifications of this might affect my ability to write music... possibly ever again! Dr. Hollifield was very professional in his diagnosis, description of what to expect from surgery and totally understood my trepidation of losing even partial sight in one of my eyes. He seemed to innately know how it could affect my life as a composer. His answers, and subsequent actions, gave me a lot of confidence in the process and recovery. Other than the few months of allowing my brain to "catch up" with my somewhat altered vision, he was completely correct. By understanding my concern, he truly instilled my sense of confidence in the surgery. I have since written a 45 minute symphonic tone poem for large orchestra. I can not speak highly enough of Dr. Hollifield's very competent and very professional abilities. I totally and completely recommend him to anyone having retina issues!

Best Doctor in the WORLD! He saved my husband's eyesight, we're forever thankful!!! Great personality too!

My first appointment with this new doctor was the highlight of my month. I moved to Nevada from New Jersey & have macula degeneration in my left eye. I normally get injections every 4-6 weeks and because of the move & other medical issues didn’t have one in almost 3 months. I didn’t expect anything from a new patient visit, but he was very thorough, asked a whole lot of questions, listened to my answers & even spoke with my prior retina specialist. He then made my day and gave me an infection which made a world of difference. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Hollifield.

Dr. Hollifield and his team are amazing. I took my mother for her first appointment. He had already reviewed her entire file from the Cleveland Clinic. He took the time to discuss everything with her in detail. Her biggest concern moving here was having to find a new Ophthalmologist. She has no concerns now. She received a full exam and her eye injection. As we walked out of the office, she told me she is so happy with her new Doctor. Thank you Dr. Hollifield.

Dr. Hollifield, can not say enough. My eyesight has improved greatly. He is kind and understanding. I do not have insurance, not only has he been helpful, his staff has worked to make treatments affordable. The wait time can be long, worth it...

This office has been extremely rude, condescending and difficult to deal with. My mother needed a diagnosis from them to get disability support because she cannot see - with diabetic retinal hemoraging she is disabled.. But with her sister on her deathbed needing 24 hour support, she has to wait to have the corrective surgery. They have the nerve to criticize her for trying to get disability for caring for her sister... they basically denied her from getting assistance.
