It's such a shame to give a great physician a poor review. It's impossible to be unaware of how office staff is treating patients when reviews are consistent of the manner. We are in trying times, Covid has effected the way most businesses operate but all have gotten it together and figured out a way. Office staff here unfortunately have not. The automated system leaves no option for appointments and no one seems to be able to call me back to schedule. I have to call multiple times throughout a two week period to grab someone's attention. I work in an ER and understand busy, but as far as I'm concerned no one else I know has this hard a time getting ahold of their PCP. I'm so saddened as I love Dr. Fakhoury. He's an attentive doctor who doesn't ignore concerns, gives great referrals to amazing specialists, and takes his time with you during appointments. However the lengths to schedule an appointment are not worth it. It's such a shame to give a great physician a poor review. Dr Fakhoury and his team are very kind and understanding. It does get really busy as there are longer than normal wait times and hold times however you never feel rushed. Dr Fakhoury is looking out for your best care, health, and will give you his undivided attention. A big part of my family sees him and we all agree. Thank you team Fakhoury for all you do! The Dr is VERY thorough, sometimes too thorough in ordering test that are not always necessary but better be safe than sorry, I guess. 9/10 times you will not see the Dr but the nurse (Ali) instead. Ali is just as good as Dr. Fakhoury though so no problem seeing her instead. Sometimes I prefer her over him. The BIG downfall with this office is the wait times. They OVER BOOK their appointments EVERY DAY!! I have always waited no less than 30-45mins in the waiting room and then another 30-45 mins ( a few times up to an hour) in the exam room. Phone hold times are no better. I have been trying to pay a bill over the phone all morning today. Been placed on hold several times just to be disconnected, transferred to voicemails that are full and then no answer at all when calling back. The staff is always in a hurry and RX call ins and other appointments get forgotten about due to this. Mistakes happen when the staff is overwhelmed and this shows. They are all running around like chickens without heads every time I am in there and can come across as rude. It is a pain coming to this office or doing anything with this office. I have been more than patient . . . 6/7 years worth of patience. I think I'm about done here. Dr Fakhoury is great! He is very thorough and he listens to what I have to say.

Long rant, but I have to explain my situation to show how upset I was with my other doc, to how grateful I am for Dr. Fakhoury! As a prior medic in the army, I only freak out medically when it involves life, limb, or eye sight. About a week ago, I got pink eye (first time in my life). I knew it was bacterial per symptoms, but went to eye doctor to confirm and to make sure it didn't get worse(plus get meds). My eye doc (remaining nameless) looked, said "yup that's pink eye" and completely ignored my signs and symptoms. I even explained, yo, green discharge, not watery, crusted shut in morning, random onset and no one else had it in my household. She said "we will get you some antibiotics with steroids and that way if it is bacterial, it'll help, but it's probably viral". Well, the drops didn't really work except with inflammation, and a week later I seemed to get better, but that was false... My eyes started producing a white film on the lid and hurt, so I assumed it was drops. I stopped them for not even a full day, and my eye swelled, got milky, hurt like hell, and blurred vision. At 9 PM I drove to the ER where the doc said no, it was bacterial and you need something stronger for sure. I asked if steroids made it worse and he said probably yes, as steroids effects your body's response to fight off bacteria and viruses.... Well next day, called eye doc and my doc is gone for 3 weeks. No other doc except end of day. I work as a independent sales rep and had to get some work done, so this wasn't going to work as I needed to get better and get better drops like now. Called Dr. Fakhoury's office, got an appointment, and he was so amazing! Checked all vitals, even asked when I got a physical last and made sure all other main things were good. He then LISTENED to my symptoms and said " yeah it is more than likely bacterial". He did the usual dye test, but was much more thorough, saw how nasty my eye got, and then FLUSHED MY EYE!!! No one, not ER, not even my eye doc, did this!!! The relief was amazing and let me tell you, this mucus stuff is hard to clean...I mean it's in abundance and it never stops. He gave me the strongest ABX he could, told me to text him at all this weekend if it gets worse, and to come back immediately Monday no matter what as he was concerned by the white film developing! Even though he had back to back patients, he treated me like I was the only one and that's hard to find these days with corporate offices with 6 docs pushing patients thru. The best part? I live in South OC and was in IE area for work. Doc still saw me and listened. Love this office, and even though I live in OC, I will keep Doctor Fakhoury as my primary care and make the drive since I work out here anyways. Worth it! Dr. Fahkouri and his NP Ali are two of the most knowledgeable, caring, wonderful HEALTHCARE providers I've ever encountered. If you have time to see them, there is no one better within 100 miles. I agree..the wait times can be awfully long, but that is because he takes walk ins for very sick babies and they are prioritized. It's not ideal if you're in a hurry, but if you can take the afternoon then I'd say waiting an hour for someone who will go to every length to take care of you, and to help you find out what is going on with your health...its worth the wait. Ali is also smarter and more caring than any other doctor I've ever had. They are wonderful. And take their professionseriously. You can't find doctors like them anymore. Dr.Fakhoury is the most caring and intelligent doctor I've ever met (and I've met many!). He truly cares about his patient's and their health. I highly highly recommend him. Yes, there can be a wait at times, but it's because he's an amazing doctor.

Dr Fakhoury is a wonderful dr but his staff is trash they make me wait two hours and I walked away and they didn’t even bother to do anything I’ll never go back to that office this is how drs reputation get ruined because of careless rude staff like the front desk ladies

Really cool staff, the doctor and the nurse practitioner have amazing bedside manner. I feel like an individual as opposed to some doctor's office where you're just a number.

My appointment was set at 3:00 for my daughter. We got there 2:40 and within 10 minutes the nurse took her vitals etc... Doctor was there and did a complete checkup, took time to ask questions, also lectured my teenage daughter about school and friends etc.... Highly recommended. Very personable and will take care of you. Has ordered blood test and screens that most regular doctors don't think of. Everyone I refer him to loves him. Also his staff is awesome and so is his physician's assistant

He is the most rude and unprofessional doctor I've seen very disrespectful I took my dad the other day to his office and as soon as i got in and he asked me few questions and I was explain to him how my dad doesn't listen to us to maintain his health for instance the foods that he shouldn't eat that are not helping him...and all the medication that he is giving my dad he is not taking them... omg Dr. Fakoury snapped at me started telling my i"m rude and told my dad that I was a bad daughter and no one is going to like me in front of all his employees...I was shocked I'm like oh wow what is wrong with this doctor? So my Experience with Dr. Rommie Fakhoury and his team. I don't like reviewing people badly, but this issue surely needs for people to see. I visited Dr. Fakhoury around 3 months ago, it after the first visit it was just a nightmare to get any results. First visit I paid around 120 Dollars for a consultation for me and another 120 for consultation for my mom. Bottom line I tell Dr. Fakhoury the several issues i had, and before saying anything he sent me to do several tests. So i schedule an appointment for the blood work, I go the day of the appointment, they schedule me at 11:00 am, I get there just to know that i cannot get all the tests done because there is one test that 1- i can only get done before 10:00 am, 2-they don't do the test at the clinic i had to go to the lab ; of course the day I made the appointment they did not let me know of either of these issues. I schedule a second appointment to get my blood work done, i get to the clinic to do part of the tests to then go to the lab get the one test i cannot get done there, surprisingly the nurses don't have my file, they don't know which tests I should be getting, they are totally clueless about my case, so they are just playing a guess game regarding which blood work i should get done. So they wasted another hour of my time, and I left without doing anything since i lost all trust in their work. After i leave i get a call from the office manager saying that they apologize for the inconvenience ... blah blah... and that they will accommodate me to my convenience , i make a third appointment, and i go get the blood work done, and then make an appointment for consultation. So the day of the consultation to see what's wrong with me, i paid 200 dollars again, one for me one for my mom, of course don't forget it was 3 months of work to get to that day to see what's wrong with me, so Dr. Fakhoury sees me and my mom for 10 minutes, he's in a rush, he says my thyroid is on the lower edge , that's all he addresses from all the issues i had told him on the first consultation. He doesn't address anything fo my mom so I don't know why I paid a consultation for her that day. He doesn't explain nothing about the medication to me, no side effects no nothing, bottom line , i take the medication for 7 days, and i gain 10 POUNDS! from the medication he gave me. I call after the 7 days to tell them what had happened, the secretary tells me to go back in for consultation, of course i told her am not going to pay another 100 dollars for consultation so he can see me 5 minutes and ignore all the issues am having. so she puts me on hold again, and guess what? She gets back to me to tell me that the Dr. after 3 months and all the money he made me spend, he recommends i better see an Endocrinologist !!!!!! I was furious, he didn't even get to the phone to see what the issue was! he completely ignored me! So 3 months, around 1200 dollars later between consultation fees and tests, i end up 10 pounds heavier and with a "you should probably see an endocrinologist" Thank you for wasting my time, my money, my health, and making me start from point 0 again, and 10 pounds heavier. First time being here and was a walk-in. The staff checked availability and made room for me to be seen to which I respectfully understood there'll be a wait time considering i was being accommodated. The Dr, staff, environment and importantly cleanliness was GREAT! I was talked to as a real person and not another number they wanted to get in and out. I'll echo the positive reviews of Dr. Fakhoury, he's really understanding and spends time with his patients. It almost makes it worthwhile to put up with the office staff. Friendly, but incompetent. They have made the same mistakes on multiple occasions to process paperwork and are dismissive of complaints. It's a crapshoot every time if my insurance will be processed accordingly or if I get a bill that I now need to take my time to rectify their error. Aggravating every time! Additionally, the long wait times are a direct result of poorly kept office schedule. One off day is acceptable, however I have yet to have an appointment where I see the doctor within the hour (usually significantly more) of my scheduled appointment. Dr. Fakhoury is fantastic! Though you may have to wait, he is well worth the wait! He is very knowledgeable, and thorough. He takes the time needed to help you before he leaves the room. Excellent bedside manner and really cares about his patients.

Dr Fakhoury is one of the best doctors I have ever had......however every time I come here I am waiting more than 1 hour. My appointment today was at 430 today...was here at 420....and it is 650 and have not been seen yet. I have been seated in a room....but still waiting..... This is seriously absurd. I need to find another doctor...maybe not as good as Dr. Fahkoury...but I can't wait like this anymore. Almost 2.5 hours is ridiculous. The staff is great....but they need to figure out a better way to book patients. If it wasn't for the long wait I would give him and his staff five stars. Best Doctor ever! I've been going here for about 2 years. Dr. Fakhoury goes above and beyond to ensure that his patient's concerns are addressed. The staff is also helpful.

Amazing doctor and supporting staff. They will always take care of your needs and will find you the appropriate specialist if needed. The one thing I found that was very useful was the specialist because even if the doctor is good they don't always screen their specialists, Dr. Fakhoury does not recommend anyone unless he is satisfied with the specialists abilties. Just to give you an example he had sent me to a orthopedic due to an injury in my hand, a neurologist for my epilepsy, and a nephro for my wife. All of which were better than the doctors we had used for years!!! Amazing doctor and supporting staff. Great doctor, staff, and office. Wait gets long, but worth it.

Came from out-of-state and needed sutures removed and this was the only facility that would take me. Since I was a walk-in, I had to wait but it was not that long and the doctor/staff were amazing. Highly recommend!

Dr. Fakhoury is an excellent doctor. He cares about me as a patient and is interested in my well being. He reminds me of my father who was a physician with the old time characteristics of caring for his patients and having a passion for what he does. I highly recommend Dr. Fakhoury.

Absolutely my favorite doctor! I'm in my 40's and have suspected a thyroid problem for most of my life. He is the 1st doctor to actually take the time and care enough to run some additional labs and diagnosis the problem. Sometimes the wait is a bit but it is worth it.
