The worst doctors office staff ever. They make costly mistakes, then deny they did. Then yell at you for it. Horrible experience.

Dr. Laracuente is a good physician. Period. In contrast, his support staff is by far the worst I have experienced in my life. All experiences my family, my friends, and I have had were negative. I spoke with other friends who stopped going to this good doctor, and they all tell me the reason is how they are treated by this doctor's staff. Both on the phone and face to face. Not only they are incompetent and slow, they are also extremely rude. That's a terrible combination. When you point out they made a mistake and beg for correction, they cancel you as a patient! They did that to my wife and then I found out that neither my son or I could return either! The great news is that after being cancelled, I found an even better doctor with an outstanding support staff also in Boca Raton. Ask yourself if going to this good doctor is worth the hassle and disappointment of being mistreated and ignored during every call, every visit and every interaction.

Dr Laracuente is a wonderful doctor but his office staff is a complete disaster. Instead of doing their job they constantly push the work back to the patients. And when we call back and say that they were supposed to have the right information...no apologies. Do not become a new patient. YOU will have a nightmare experience.

I love Dr Laracuente. But when I called to make an appointment for my annual - a few months late admittedly, his office staff told me that my file was closed and could not be reopened, that I could not make an appointment. After about 8 or more years of being a patient, that doesn't even make sense. I am flabbergasted. I hate to give the Dr a low review, but this is an unacceptable way to treat a patient. I just don't understand it. Now I have to find a new physician and that wasn't what I had expected to do.

This was a great office. Great doctor… But office staff is incompetent. I called 2 weeks ago to schedule and the office said I had to come in as a new patient because I had not been in since 2020. No one ever called to tell me I had to come in. Scheduled appointment but a few days later received a text message saying appointment was canceled to reschedule thru website. I did but today called to find out about lab results and Rachel said my file is closed. This is crazy. So unprofessional. Very disappointed.

I've been seeing Dr. Laracuente for years and he is my absolute favorite doctor. He truly listens to what you have to say and has great bed side manner. The staff are always really friendly. This is the one doctors visit I enjoy going to

I have been Dr Laracuentes patient for o er 10 yrs, I absolutely love him. But his staff is rude. To start with to schedule an appointment that let you wait for a long time wait. I have been trying to refill my prescription and they have been given me problems saying I have been not using my medication properly. He even had the audacity to say I have not using my prescription.i explained to her I changed pharmacies, and I also did change insurances, she literally said I was lying. And saying I neede to see the dr to get and appt. I HAVE MY CALL LOG TO PROVE i have called inumerous time to make an appt and they only have to mid June. SHE WAS TALKING TO THE PHARMACY. Very disappointing with the Clinic STAFF, I love doctor Laracuente and he is a very human type of person, but the clinic should be more understanding of life incidents and more when minors are involved. the issue was that our son got the FLU and high fever the same that we had our appointment (Wife and I), and we needed to cancel the appointment which was done but the clinic charge us a fee for $50 dollars even though we called and we showed prof of our son doctors appointment, we do understand the "no show" fee if you don't have a valid justification, but I believe this one was justify and is a minor health involve, and clinics are to help patient on their life spawn no matter the circumstances. Worst experience of my life. I have severe anxiety and they never had my prescription ready on time. Then they discharged me as a patient just cause I missed an appointment or two which I still had to pay for. Now I’m going through horrible anxiety cause I’ve been without my medication for days. I am truly disappointed. My visits with Dr. Laracuente have been awesome, he has always seemed to be very comforting, informative and has proven to be a great listener. So I have to admit Im a little saddend /disappointed that I received a letter telling me that I will no longer be permitted to come to his office. I chose to have a heart calcium test done during heart health month, simply trying to be proactive. This particular test required a script from my primary. I was told by receptionist “I would need to follow up with office and give my results”. So my results were sent to his office and when I called to get them I was told I had to make an appointment in order to get my results…..REALLY! I questioned are you really going to make me make an appointment to get results of a test I voluntarily went for. I was told she would speak to the Dr. And get back to me. The best primary doctor that I tried in my 14 years in this country, Dr Ronald take the time to talk with you and understand what is your health problem.... his staff secretaries and nurses are so kind and collaborative... totally recommended

Best Doctor in South Florida!

I’ve been a patient of Dr Laracuente for years. I think he is a great doctor however, his staff is awful. I have been calling for over a month. Every other day. I either speak to someone who says someone will call me back or I leave voicemails. I even text with the office manager and I get NO WHERE! All I’m trying to do is schedule an appt. And the staff refuses to refill my prescription until I see the doctor. This medication is medically necessary and I’ve been without it for a few weeks. I have been seeing Dr. Laracuente since Oct. 23, 2020 and couldn't have been happier. He has excellent bedside manner, he is thorough, knowledgeable, caring, kind, compassionate and takes his time to examine and analyze thoroughly your medical history and your lab reports. Dr. Laracuente’s practice probably loses patients left and right because of his staff, who are actually the ones responsible for getting you the medication and treatment you need. They are awful, uncaring, and incompetent. There are a large amount of 1 star reviews on here. And if I were him, I would be furious with my staff and do something. This office never calls back when someone leaves a voicemail. I have been calling this office for the past week and a half and noone answers. The Dr is nice but the wait time is ridiculous! Be ready to spend about 2 to 3 hrs here. Even when they do virtual call, they tell you the Dr is ready and still you end up waiting about an hr for him to get on the virtual visit. I’ve been a patient of Dr. Laracuente’s for several years. While I like the doctor and feel he has great bedside planner, his wife (the office manager) is a sorry excuse for a “Christian”. She is a nasty, rude woman. She yells at patients, has left nasty voicemails when I questioned a bill. They never call in my refills when they are supposed to. They never answer the phone or return phone calls. I’ve had to go days without my meds on several occasions. I’ve personally referred this doctor to two family members and three coworkers, until I had a question about a bill and his wife, Raquel was so rude. She demanded I pay the remaining balance on a bill or she would not call in my medications. They play games with your health. The bad reviews on here are 100% true. The doctor is well aware of what his wife is doing to this office and he turns the other cheek. These people will shove Christianity down your throat while you’re there but then refuse care when you have a question about a bill. Since my last appointment, I was told they are refusing care moving forward. They are telling me I’m not allowed to go to their office anymore, during a pandemic, with no employment and not able to get care from a new doctor since no doctors are taking new patients at this time. My husband and I have been patients of Dr Laracuente for many years. He is a great doctor. Very caring, takes his time, great bed side manners. We have also had great experience with his staff. Staff is very rude and unprofessional

He is the best but his office staffs ( his family members & friend) making it worst. One of the staff was screaming at me saying I have many problems. Seriously!! I can’t believe how rude these people at the front desk are! They even deleted my husbands review. We both were doctors patients and had few questions about the bill... Bcs we r new in this and didn’t know much and they were so unprofessional. I have a voice msg where the lady from billingdepartment is talking to me or better said screaming as if I work for her. I wanted to see the doctor so he can listen how is his staff towards patients but they wouldn’t let me talk to him. Dr. Laracuente and his staff are amazing. The doctor is very compassionate and takes his time with his patients. They were understanding enough to offer me a payment plan to pay off the balance applied towards my insurance deductible. In the planet of boca where people are so entitled, demanding, and rude; it’s almost hard to understand how the front staff can be so understanding. I can only express how extremely professional they all are. I've been going to Dr. L. for about 4yrs. I have mixed reviews. I don't like that the doc wears open-toe shoes/flip-flops -it's unprofessional and seems unsanitary. I also think he misses a few steps that my last doc always did during a physical (like look in throat, feel neck glands, look in eyes, and ears). The office is somewhat disorganized as things are in stacked crates, and -more importantly- the office staff is hit-or-miss (lab orders never seem to get to Quest Lab 3x in a row, and my physical lab order was missing a urine sample. I had it done anyway by another doc who also sent me for tests but it should be included in a routine annual physical, right?). I am always contemplating if I should switch docs and that's not a good thing to be thinking. I like him as he is friendly and doesn't rush so I'm not saying he's a bad doctor but there's a lot of room for improvment.

I would give Dr Laracuente and his staff 0 stars, but Google makes you choose at least 1. His office staff does NOT return calls, is rude, and is consistently running VERY late on all appointments. Very Unprofessional Doctor I have been recommended to this office by another online site I took my son and a friend to this office and the doctor did not get back to us regarding lab work. All around amazing as far as a provider and awesome people to top it off

He is awesome and his all staff. I recommend him to anyone. He was the only doctor to find out what was wrong with me and guide me to the best neurosurgeon. By grace of God and doctor LARACUENTE I am pain free. God bless him and his staff

I love Dr. Ronald Laracuente, He takes his time to talk to you and go over whatever may be going on and is always open to your input. I love that he explains the reason behind each treatment and is very honest. The staff is very professional and always willing to go the extra mile to help with whatever you need.

The only doctor that consistently will spend the time with you. He may be busy but when you have his time it’s yours. Not just knowledgeable but truly cares. You never get anyone but him and don’t need to re explain the same issue 3 times to 3 diffrent PAs or associate doctors. If you do end up waiting have peace in knowing it’s because he is spending time with someone and won’t rush them as he won’t rush you.

I am not a fan of Dr's offices or visits. That being said I have been a patient of Dr. Laracuente for over 15 years. He makes me feel very comfortable and always helps me figure out what I have going on. Him and his staff are very welcoming. If I'm gonna go to a doctor, it will be him.

Today is my last visit to this doctor. The doctor always runs 45mins-1hr behind schedule. If I am expected to be on time I would like the same in return. The doctor should let staff know not to schedule appointments so closely together...its always about making more money. Also, you are expected to use the public restroom on the second floor for a urine test and then carry your own cup of urine back down the hallway and hand it to the staff through the check-in window. Ridiculous and awkward.

Anyone who complains about Ron and his staff needs help. He is a doc who really listens and cares. His knowledge is second to none . Recently changed primaries. Dr Laraquente has a great personality. Unlike other doctors my wife and I have gone to he gives you the true feeling of care and concern.

I just switched to Dr. Laracuente from another primary care physician in Deerfield. I am SO GLAD I did! Dr. Laracuente is such a kind and caring doctor. He spends time with you and listens to you. I love Dr. Laracuente and the personal care he shows at all my visits. I feel he takes a vested interest in my well being, not just doling out medication. He has helped me get in the best shape of my life. I not sure about the negative reviews on the staff, they have always been courteous and helpful.

Dr.Laracuente and his staff are all great. I've always had a great experience at my visits and they treat me like family. The office is nice and you don't just feel like a number like at some practices. I would highly recommend him for any of their general doctor/internal medicine needs. After reading some of the negative reviews, I was hesitant to make an appointment. I am so thankful to my dear friend who told to go see Dr. L . I have seen many Dr in the last couple of years and none have diagnose me properly and most importantly listen to me. Dr Laracuenten has been treating me for 3 months and my life has change. His knowledge of his field is exceptional, his empathy for his patients is superb. I am forever thankful

Sad to say, I am leaving a once-great doctor and staff. Unfortunately, his business model did a 180 turn. All Dr. Laracuente wants to do is draw blood, analyze results and write prescriptions. If there is ANY problem, you have to see someone else. During my last visit, as he was entering info into the computer, his foot was tapping uncontrollably, as if he couldn't wait to run out of there. And he couldn't, he did not even examine me. I had an appointment to see Dr. Ronald Laracuente I had to wait one and a half hours to see him I told him I was very unhappy with the way I was being treated he blamed it on the staff that is a very poor excuse to throw your own people under the bus instead of taking responsibility your self . The office staff is very rude nasty and disrespectful and I do not expect to be treated that way when I go to see a doctor they are terrible and I will never ever go there again ever.

Dr. Laracuente's staff are awful. The person who took my blood pressure was mean. I asked her why nobody answers the phone or text messages. She started yelling at me, my husband was in the office with me. Her voice in a Spanish accent was interrupted me. When the doctor finally came in, he acknowledged that he is the only doctor in the office and gives his staff full control. I left his office without a next appointment date and without a blood test to take. Now I have to search for another DR.

First off you would die first before you got an appointment. Then once you get an appointment make sure you schedule 2 plus hours of a wait. The office manager is terrible and has no people skills. Maybe she is related to the doctor that's why she got the job. Don't waste you time at this office.

Dr. Laracuente is an EXCELLENT Dr. I would recommend him to anyone. However, his wife/office manager is nasty, arrogant and unprofessional. They have a leave a message and they will communicate via text msg if no one is available policy that doesn't necessarily work for everyone or every time and she will bluntly let you know they don't need your business if you can't comply with it as she did with us.

Left a doctor who could care less about my well-being and went to Dr. Laracuente, who is the exact opposite.

Dr Laracuente is a great doctor. He takes the time to listen to me and tells me what to do in regards to my health issues. I really appreciate his attentive details with me and as his patient I would gladly recommend Dr. Laracuente to anyone. He is a wonderful doctor.
