I was in excruciating pain over the weekend, I had an infected tooth and pain in left ear and bad headache all weekend. Dr. Rubin texted me personally and advised to call on Monday and schedule appointment. I visited him on Monday and extracted my tooth pain free. I’ve recently had really bad pain in my mouth/jaw, especially over a weekend. I could barely open my mouth. I went to an “emergency” dentist to be evaluated as everywhere else was closed and was told they didn’t have 360 X-ray machine to truly evaluate what was going on and recommended me to an oral surgeon (not Dr. Rubin), when I called that surgeon they told me until I could open my mouth, they would not see me. Lucky enough, my girlfriend got me in touch with Dr. Rubin and his team, they immediately scheduled me and got me in. From the moment I walked in, the staff was very warm and accommodating. Dr. Rubin was extremely knowledgeable and had all of the tools needed to help me when no one else would (I can’t emphasize this enough). It turned out one of my wisdom teeth was completely sideways into my gum and caused an infection, as the tooth was decaying. That same day, he operated on me and the whole process was done very quickly. I am now in the healing process and couldn’t be any more thankful to all of them. If there is anyone on the fence about going to Dr. Rubin and his team, I promise you shouldn’t be - you can tell they truly care about their patients. I will forever recommend to anyone! On July 6 2020, dr. Rubin was the only available Surgeon in network near me. I needed my #20 infected tooth removed ASAP and he did so. However i noticed he did nothing about the infection once the tooth was pulled. Dr. Rubin refused my insurance even though I called BCBS in the Office to confirm! I paid over $320 for a $31 extraction. Had 2 other teeth removed a week later at Sage and the Surgeon said Dr. Rubin left me with an infected gum area! Words can’t express how grateful I am of getting to know of this office. First I really appreciate Tara - Dental Assistant. She was very cooperative. She even called up my other Dental Office to have my x-rays transferred. She also squeezed me in as an emergency appointment. She explained everything regarding my insurance and what my co-pay was. Dr Rubin taking his time to explain everything to me. I’m very anxious when going to the dentist & they were wonderful. The nurse also even explained everything to me which meant a lot to me. I just had two bottom impacted wisdom teeth extracted 2 days ago. Stephanie and Dr. Rubin are amazing. They told me exactly what to expect. They talked me through the surgery and Stephanie called me 2 days after to check on me and spent as much time on the phone with me to answer all my questions. I broke a tooth that needed to be extracted. I called several dentists, only some of them were oro max. surgeons. They were charging at least 3-4 times what Dr. Rubin charged. Several wanted to use general anesthesia. Dr Rubin numbed the area with a local anesthesia, removed the tooth in approximately 15 minutes. I had very little residual pain. And again, his fees were very reasonable and he did not make my experience feel like it was a major procedure. ,

Dr. Rubin has a heavy hand and caused me a lot of pain. He does know his stuff, though. The x-ray "technology" in his office is from the stone age. He actually held an x-ray up to the light. In these modern times, it's digital and you can see your whole tooth on a computer screen. He was also very short with me when I asked him a question, like he didn't want to be bothered. Won't be back. UPDATE: Amanda, Dr. Rubin's office manager, told me she put a claim in to Medicare. Guess what - I'm looking at my medicare online. Claim was never submitted. Dr. Rubin and his staff are amazing. I went in with back problems and he used this new laser therapy he offers. It was quick, minimal discomfort and I felt so much better after the first session. Nice to have something done that actually works.

Doctor is so nice and he did well on removal of wisdom tooth. They took care of me very well even the follow up on the procedure even after going home was awesome. I do recommend Dr. Ronald to any of friends and family members.

I had a procedure done in November 2017. Everything went well, and I had no complaints at that time. This afternoon (December 2018), I received a bill for just under $1,200. When I called to find out what the bill was for, I was told by Amanda that there was an oversight in what they charged me (over a year ago). I explained that I paid my copay and that my insurance covered the rest and asked why I hadn't received a bill sooner if there was an issue. Amanda told me that it was an error and kept asking me how I'd like to pay. I called my insurance provider shortly after speaking to Amanda. The representative from my insurance company called the doctor and was told that Amanda told me that the charge would be written off due to the age. Amanda never told me that when I spoke to her and kept asking me how I'd like to pay. It seems like they're trying to run some sort of scam over there. Even if there was a legitimate billing error on their part (which there wasn't), the fact that they first contacted me over a year later is absurd. 1/2/19 - I appreciate your response, but the reason for me not hearing about it being written off wasn't because I hung up (Amanda was the one who hung up on me when I told her repeatedly that the charge made no sense). The only reason that the charge was written off was because I had my insurance company contact you directly. My experience was nothing but amazing Dr.Rubin and staff are very welcoming, Dr.Rubin has the most amazing bedside manners, put you at easy and explain everything in a manner easy to understand. I recommend this office the next time you need the services preformed by this office.

I had a very unpleasant, painful experience with Dr. Rubin. He has a very heavy hand and caused me a lot of unnecessary pain in treating me for a tooth extraction gone bad. When I asked him a question about the problem I was having, he acted as though he didn't want to be bothered with me. Also, his office manager, Amanda, told me she was submitting a claim to Medicare as Dr. Rubin no longer accepts it. Well, she hasn't submitted anything. I checked. Run from this doctor, trust me.

I needed an oral surgeon to extract a tooth and I didn't like the one that my Dentist recommended so I researched online and found Dr. Rubin. And I am glad I did. He explained everything and was very professional. He told me the actual extraction would take 9 minutes but it was over in 4 minutes and I didn't feel a thing. I expected to feel pain that night but there was none. It was the easiest dental procedure I ever had. And best of all, although he specializes in implants he didn't try to sell me one. My original dentist told me I had to have an implant but Dr. Rubin didn't even try to sell me one and told me how unimportant that back tooth was. Dr. Rubin was able to see me for emergency teeth extractions right after Hurricane Irma hit Florida. He was compassionate, thorough and painless! Would definitely recommend him to anyone who requires oral surgery!

The best oral surgeon !!! I was terrified to get my wisdom teeth removed. I had to get it done ASAP! He was funny, explained surgery in great detail and the office staff was great. They called a few times to check up after and he did a great job!!!

Queen in most settings. Needles and 2 wisdom teeth pulled about 24 hours ago; you have to wonder about my experience, right? As I walked in, immediately I was welcomed with a smile by Heather, as well as a smooth process as a new patient. Heather's multi-task skills shined. Heather introduced me to Melanie. Love her! Her smile and conversation warmed my heart. Meeting Dr. Rubin is a pleasure. He has charisma and, oh, that sense of humor and wit. He made me feel at ease immediately. I so appreciate his craft; he is confident, which makes me at ease. My Dentist and the rest of the Boca community always spoke highly of Dr. Rubin, so with all said, I felt safe in that chair. I also laughed at his clever jokes. Yes, he could of been Mr A Lister Hollywood Socialite, but I am sure blessed he did not take that route. He is a professional! And, why yes, what seemed like less than 20 min, both teeth with strong bone density did not stop Rubin. He used his expertise on a curved root and got it out in record time. Dr Rubin has treated myself and 3 children (multiple times) and has it has exceeded expectations everytime. When it comes time for oral surgery, anxiety exists at many levels.
