Reviews for Dr. Ronnit Hamuy Stein
I miss Dr Stein.. She no longer accepted my ins co so I had to find another.. Yikes, the new dr is not as thorough and not as knowledgeable.. I would like to go back to her and pay out of my pocket…
I was permanently and severely injured under the "care" of Dr. Ronnit Stien at this office. Better find another doctor.
Dr. Stein is an excellent dermatologist. She listens & doesn't rush. I certainly would recommend her.
So there are 2 different suites, and 2 different staffs. The original suite staff at 306 is awesome, friendly, prompt. Suite 307... this suite is an absolute madhouse. I arrived at my appointment both times early, only to be called back over 30 minutes after my appointment time (clearly they overbook). At the end of the 2nd visit I had in which I had to have a punch biopsy performed, the lady at the counter said "you know that Dr Stein isn't covered under Cigna right?" AFTER they had already performed the procedure. So I informed her that I had been there once before, had received a bill and it was covered. She said "Ok well I guess I'll try the co-pay, but I just want to let you know. It's not showing she's covered" Isn't it their responsibility to know what insurance the doctor is covered under and to inform patients prior to seeing the doctor? The most recent visit was at 3:15. At 3:41, I asked how much longer it was going to be because I had another appointment scheduled at 4:30 that afternoon. The lady shrugged and said "I don't know, the doctor is running behind. * gestures to my chart* I mean, your chart is right there so you should be next." She was not even the least bit sympathetic. I go back to waiting, at 3:52, I get called back. The nurse said "what are you here for today?" - "to get my stitches removed." - "where are they located?" -- at this point I'm just baffled... she's looking right at my chart! I'm watching her take out a blade and tweezers, she goes to start the removal without prepping me at all for what to expect. I get sick when I see blood or there is any sort of needle or anything involved. So I ask "is this going to hurt?" she said "no you might feel a little pressure, but that's all" so halfway through, I'm feeling like I'm going to be sick. She asked "are you okay?" and I said "I wasn't feeling 100%" so she says "we're almost done" When she completed the procedure, she says "the dr will be in to take a look" and leaves me sitting on the table. I started to feel faint, so I got up to find a nurse, when I opened the door, I couldn't find anyone, so I put the table down myself and got a pillow. Dr stein came in, looked at the wound and said "looks great, we're just going to get some strips put on to make sure it doesn't open up. Have a great holiday" The nurse dabbed some glue, put the strips on and said "ok youre all set" and starts to clean up her area. I get up from the table, start to get dressed and she starts ripping the paper and cleaning the room. I was clearly in the way and I felt like I was being rushed out, so I left... she shouldn't be in this field if she doesn't like people. So I get to the nurses station before my chart even does.. .they don't even know why I'm there. "it was just cosmetic.." "do you have a copay?" at this point I'm so annoyed by this whole experience, by this point it's 4:30. Then they're like "stitch removal, oh yes, you have a copay. that's $45" so I voiced my complaint about the visit and the lady said "oh, sorry. I don't know what to say" then I TRIED to tell the lady who said I wasn't covered under Cigna that it is in fact covered and she told me I needed to calm down because she didn't know that it was. I tried to tell her I was just telling her so she knows for the future and she told me there was no reason to get defensive, she didn't know that Dr Stein was covered under that insurance. So I told her it was HER JOB to know this and it was HER JOB to inform clients PRIOR to the procedure being done... Honestly, Dr Stein is great and there was one nurse who was literally EXCEPTIONAL (I think her name was Bee), but the office staff just completely ruins this experience and I would't recommend going here unless you like being stressed out and having to be your own nurse. I loved Dr. Stein - she is so thorough and takes time to explain everything. I was so happy to find her - the 3rd dermatologist I've seen in South Fl. The other two doctors were all about pushing products, botox and plastic surgery. The staff was very professional as well.
1 hour wait every time and incredibly rude and unresponsive staff. Also attempts to upsell products and procedures suggests there is an ROI goal per visit. Dr. Is fine ..caring and competent. Displayin posting about cancelling 24 hours in advance yet operates an office that clearly overbooks patients is really disconcerting. Overall experience feels like profit center rather than medical office. Will be looking for another practice. 1 hour wait every time and incredibly rude and unresponsive staff. She treats he medical assistants terribly. Very short tempered. Always has one foot out the door. Terrible cosmetic appearance. I don't understand how people would go to get cosmetic procedures to a doctor that doesn't even look the part. If you're going to sell cosmetics and good skin please look the part as well.

I am a new patient at Palm Beach Dermatology Group and had the pleasure to be seen by Dr Stein. She was kind and understanding regarding my skin care needs. I will recommend her to all my friends.
I have been patient of Dr. Stein's for 5 years. Dr. Stein is very caring and knowledgeable. She has always taken her time to listen to my concerns and I would never seen anyone else for my skin care needs. I recently had cosmetic injections with her and I couldn't be happier with my results.
Excellent care! Very pleased with Dr. Stein.
I had several cosmetic procedures with Dr. Stein. She is very good and gentle. Highly recommend.

Dr. Stein is cheerful and supportive. She makes you feel comfortable and safe while performing procedures. Besides body check for skin cancer, she also gives me Botox injections. I am totally satisfied with the results. Thank you Dr. Stein!
