Dr. Chod is a wonderful doctor. So knowledgeable and caring. He repaired my detached retina 3 years ago. I owe the vison in my right eye to his expertise. In the years since my surgery he has continually monitored my eyes and helped me keep them healthy. I have absolute trust in Dr. Chod and would highly recommend him to anyone needing a retina specialist.

There were many other patients in the waiting room yet Dr. Chod took the time to thoroughly examined my eyes. He made me priority when it was my turn for the exam giving me his full attention. He explained everything clearly and covered all options.

Dr. Chod restored the vision in my left eye and I will be forever grateful for his expertise and professionalism. I experienced a traumatic injury getting hit in the eye by a lacrosse stick that detached my retina almost 100%. Dr Chod was referred to me as the expert in these situations and he met with me within hours and scheduled surgery the next day. I had the surgery to repair the retina with oil and was face down for about a week. Dr Chod has great bed side manner and helped me face this surgery with optimism and I developed confidence that my vision would be restored. I had the followup surgery to take out the oil and put in gas and was able to recover nicely based on his guidance and checkups. Today almost two years since my accident I’m happy to report my vision is once again 20/20 and I am so grateful to have had Dr Chid as my surgeon and ultimately my friend who helped me overcome this terrible injury! Dr. Chod on me after emergency visit to Swedish medical centers ER for a possible detached retina. His expertise and thoroughness were top notch and coupled with his compassion and patience in explaining in layman‘s terms what was happening to my eye and the treatment going forward was invaluable and comforting. You will be in great, capable hands with Dr. Ross Chod.

Ruined my quality of life. Retina was partially detached. Accidentally cut a vessel in my eye during surgery (I heard all conversations mild sedation). I find it challenging to perform daily tasks, work,etc. no matter how strong the correction the vision in this eye is distorted. Dr Chod gave me a prescription for vitamin c (ascorbic acid) and said it would help after I returned after surgery as my vision was getting worse. Damage is done.

Dr. Ross Chod has been my doctor for the past year & I can't be more pleased. I've had 5 surgeries thus far all with major success. His skill & expertise have been great. To top it off, he is kind & compassionate which is something I needed as my eye issues were very concerning to me. I have already recommended him to other people & I know they will be just as pleased!
