The procedure went very well , and I am happy seeing the results. The team worked very well together and during the process my wellbeing was a big priority for the team. I feel very confident the follow up visits will be just as successful.

Extremely caring service and attention. The pinnacle in hygienic standards. The staff and Dr. Mintzer are very friendly and accommodating.

Dr. Mintzer is personable and thorough. He handled the implant for bridge of my front teeth, working closely with the dentist handling the prosthetics. Everything was explained thoroughly and options made clear. I highly recommend!

Dr. Mintzer and his staff are the best in the world! I flew all of the way from Hawaii to Santa Barbara just to be able to continue to have my dental work done where I knew I'd be in the hands of exceedingly competent, caring and professional individuals -- who are also very patient with my dental anxiety! The new normal is strange for sure but all at Doc Mintzers office are great. They are only seeing one patient at a time and are going to great lengths to ensure everyone stays well. It was one of the best experiences i have had in the dentist chair. Doc Mintzer did the cleaning himself. I usually white knuckle any dental procedure due to my tooth sensitivity but it was pain free and I'm pretty sure it was a deep clean. He is the best! Dr. Roy Mintzer is the best periodontist that you will find. Not only is he extremely competant but he is genuinely concerned for the well being of his patients. I know since I have been cared for by Dr. Mintzer many years ago while he was then practicing dentistry. He is meticulous at providing the best care to all of his patients.

Dr. Mintzer is very good at listening to my concerns and being kind and helpful while providing professional care. When he worked on my teeth, he was gentle and caused me no discomfort whatsoever. He was very concerned with my well being and that was quite refreshing. Despite the fact that my gums were cut apart and later stitched back together (and my tooth was also drilled a lot), I had minimal pain from the procedure. It went way better than I expected. Dr. Mintzer even called me 6 hours after the procedure to check on how I was doing. Easy to handle procedure and a great periodontist! I highly recommend him. It gives me great pleasure to write a review for Dr. Roy Mintzer and his staff. I have been going to Dr. Mintzer for my periodontal needs for the past 12 years. His staff has always been friendly, professional and helpful in every way possible. Dr. Mintzer is a gentle and caring professional, who listens to his patients' needs, and takes the time necessary to explain what needs to be done. I would recommend Dr. Mintzer to anyone who is having periodontal issues, or who needs dental implants. Dr. Mintzer has done three implants for me, to my complete satisfaction. Dr. Mintzer has been treating me for the last six years. He has advised on a long-term strategy for dealing with my failing teeth. He has treated a series of periodontal problems over that time, and installed six implants. There is more work to do, and even though I researched low cost alternatives in India, in the end I rejected them. Dr. Mintzer has a deep understanding of the biomechanical considerations involved in replacing multiple teeth, avails himself of the latest hardware and software (analytical tools), and has involved himself deeply in my oral well being. I travel a lot, and this involvement extends to providing long distance consultation and review of x-rays. He is extremely thorough, efficient and caring, as are his staff. Roy is an amazingly friendly and thorough dentist. I also know he is well educated and takes his work very seriously. How many times have you gotten a call after oral surgery from your dentist? Roy does this every evening to make sure he/she is okay and to remind him/her to follow the instructions. He also has a great staff. I would easily give him 10 stars, if I could.

I have had two surgeries with Dr. Mintzer. The first was a crown lengthening that involved 6 front teeth. The second was an implant. Dr. Mintzer is not only a very capable dental surgeon, he is a very nice person. He takes time to explain procedures and alternatives and answer all questions. His medical and office staff is excellent, and it is obvious that they are a cohesive team.
