Quick Personal attention to wishes

I have dealt with gastro issues for half of my life. I have been under different gastroenterologists care for years. My doctor recently retired so I was excited to go to Dr. Kaplan thinking she would be able to give me a second opinion or new information about my issues. My first appointment, she was not personable at all. I felt like I was bothering her by asking any questions. I felt rushed. My appointment lasted probably 5 minutes. She was demeaning with her responses. She scheduled me for a colonoscopy and upper endoscopy. I went through with the procedures twice. Both times before and after the procedures, she just acted like I was wasting her time and her tone when answering questions were again demeaning. My husband asked a question, and she gave him the same attitude, saying “I can’t tell you because I don’t have her chart in front of me.” She comes across like she hates being there and doing her job. Again, her demeanor is rude, demeaning and unprofessional. I would strongly advise anyone looking for a new gastro doctor to keep looking. I will be doing the same.

Dr Kaplan and staff were all really great

Dr. Rya Kaplan was my gastroenterologist in Naples Florida and gave me several colonoscopies during the time she was my doctor for Crohn’s Disease. I was very impressed but not surprised that she was a graduate of Duke University and also a board-certified gastroenterologist. My husband and I both found her to be very compassionate and thorough during our time with her and we were very disappointed to learn she was leaving Gastroenterology Group of Naples to move to SC. She is very smart, caring and pretty~and will be GREATLY missed!

Dr. Kaplan is very knowledgeable, thorough, and professional.

I had a short consultation but left feeling informed, prepared, and comfortable with my upcoming procedure. Chose 4/5 only because I have not yet had my procedure.;)

Wondering why my previous review was deleted from Feb 2022. Still trying to get bill straightened out due to wrong code used for insurance company. Receptionist was kind of nice but the tech was very rude and seemed irritated. Between the billing issues and tech I will not be a returning patient nor will I recommend to anyone.

Great name (after my daughter) and great Doctor!!! Most knowledgeable and kind soul. I feel completely confident in Dr. Kaplan's abilities and trust her completely with the sensitive needs of the complicated GI system!

My 24 year old had an office visit with her and the doctor hardly spent any time with her . A colonoscopy was scheduled and she saw her for only a few minutes before the procedure-she did not see her after. The results of her biopsy were relayed by a nurse who was not able to answer any of her many questions.

It was routine. Quick in and out.

If you need medical advise or attention, this provider will reply to you almost immediately. Wish all doctors were as concerned and prompt as Dr. Kaplan. She seems to really care and her treatments are "spot on". I called one time at 4 AM expecting to leave a message for first thing in the morning but low and behold, the answering service connected me directly to Dr. Kaplan. She gave me excellent advise and all was resolved. If you need medical advise or attention, this provider will reply to you almost immediately. Friendly staff! Dr.Kaplan was very efficent!

The best Dr I've been to so far. Fast, informative, knowledgeable, caring, and she put an immediate plan in place that I've been trying to get for years.

Very quick and professional

Absolutely terrible. Dismissed my medical concerns then tried to send me to a $500 operation. Canceled that. Months later (after a move) they sent me to COLLECTIONS without ever giving me the courtesy of a phone call or email, both of which are on file. By the way my phone number has been the same for 15+ years. When I called to ask about this bill, the blame was put on me for not updating my address. Absolutely no sense of customer service at this office. Terrible service would NOT recommend.

Everyone at this office is so nice! I was seen on time and very efficiently. Dr. Kaplan and her staff are outstanding!

Dr Kaplan is kind and friendly. My wait time was minimal. She explained everything very clearly.

After seeing 2 other GI doctors, I found Dr Kaplan on ZocDoc. She did in 1 visit what 2 other doctors couldn't do in multiple visits! There are many doctors closer to me, but I drive over half an hour just to see her and I'm glad to have found her!

My visit went very well. Did not have to wait to see Dr. Kaplan. She explained things to me very clearly and she answered all my questions.

She is thorough & engaged. Will definitely recommend.

Dr. Kaplan is a wonderful doctor. She is so thorough in explaining the procedure and I felt completely at ease with no apprehension at all. This was my second procedure with her. The first was 7 years ago and it was as pleasant an experience as possible, so I definitely wanted her again this time. There was no discomfort afterwards what so ever.

Dr. Kaplan is a friendly, courteous and informative physician. From the outset of our interaction (at the hospital during treatment) to the follow up office visits, she has been a steady supporter of our needs. She is direct, explains in detail issues and recommended solutions and willingly goes the extra length to respond to questions and concerns. Her professional courtesy extends to her staff who are well trained in customer/patient care and it shows. Well done to Dr Kaplan and her team.

After several months of discomfort and trouble diagnosing my mother's issues at another practice we decided to try Dr. Kaplan's office. She was very compassionate and listened to our frustration with the history that brought us there. Needless to say, with Dr. Kaplan's care, my mother was feeling better in no time.

Excellent Dr, great bedside manner, very thorough and great with the patients

Dr. Kaplan is an amazing doctor. She truly listens to your concerns and addresses them each with the same level of caring you would expect from a family member! She recently broke her ankle and had surgery (requiring her to keep her ankle elevated at most times). Instead of cancelling all of her clinic appointments, she returned the following week to see patients (she did so with a huge cast and kept her leg propped up)! This is a true testament as to how dedicated she is to her patients.

Terrible, not only the doctor but the entire staff. nothing but problems anytime I try to get something done.something as simple as getting a prescription refilled took 3 days. would not recommend by any means.

She takes her time during each visit and explains everything. She diagnosed my hernia after having gone to several other doctors. She referred me to Dr. Lafond for surgery in September and i have had no problems since. Highly recommend her.
