Dr. Labovitch is extremely thorough, patient and helps make it easy to understand what is going on. I was very pleased with my visit and would highly recommend Dr. Labovitch to anyone in need of his services. While I couldn't get the fix I had hoped for, Dr. Labovitch gave me hope of improving my situation without surgery.

The doctor is very personable, knowledgeable and thorough. Parking is somewhat challenging but even if late for the appt., I recommend bringing reading or crocheting before being seen.

Spends time listening and you leave his office having a full understanding of your problems.

Dr. Labovitch…..the best in his field. His up to date knowledge of the human body and injuries it sustains is something to consider. As a 57 year old former athlete and dancer, I’ve gone to him now for my knees and most currently my hip. Without skipping a beat, along with his friendly staff had me in and out with my appointments and up and out with a protocol for continued healing. Not a good experience with staff. My father is based in Florida and I tried to get a telemedicine appointment so we can review his MRI and X-ray results online. I also suggested that I can walk into Newport location and take all the documents necessary for this visit but they still didn’t take my father. Doctor explained my meniscus problem in detail, only thing is he is fast that's fine for me. There is little wait after ur appointment time, but worth it.

So far, I have found Dr. Labovitch to be attentive and easy to work with. I also appreciate how good his staff has been at managing the process. My surgery is upcoming, but I feel like I'm in good hands (and he is strongly referred by people I respect and trust).

Dr. Labovitch took the time, which is unusual these days, to listen to me and answer my questions. He did not just regurgitate what I told him, he did his own analysis to determine the real problem. Then he spoke to me in a way that I could understand without treating me like I should know all the medical terms and just believe everything he said. In addition, he is an extraordinarily skillful surgeon. All four of my rotator cuff tendons were torn, my bicep tendon frayed, and Dr. Labovitch got me back on the tennis court within months. Dr. Labovitch takes the time to go over not only my questions and concerns he explains in detail by showing you examples or models. Everyone is happy, kind and helpful. I have to say after this past year, it is rare and not commonplace to receive this type of care.

Currently have a knee injury but prior I had a shoulder injury and Dr. Labovitch was the only doctor that was able to diagnose what had happened which I had a bicep tendon tear. I have seen two other doctors prior and they cannot find the issue. It was clear on my MRI, and went and scheduled surgery within four weeks and have never had a problem with that shoulder again. After a freak basketball injury in which I tore my ACL and lateral meniscus I had no idea which doctor to see. After some searching online I came across Dr. Labovitch and his office. I scheduled an appointment for a consult and I can say I made the perfect choice. Dr. Labovitch explained my injury to me, provided additional information in what surgery I need and the recovery process. I feel extremely comfortable with doctor and knowing the years of expertise he has I will be back to doing normal activities soon. I would highly recommend Dr. Labovitch to anyone.

After I tried beating up a trail with my mountainbike and body, I called to make an appointment at Kramer Orthopedics. The trail had won. Even though it was the day after a holiday weekend (and a bunch of other MTB'ers had also gotten pummeled by the ground), they fit me in. Dr. Labovitch did a really thorough exam for any other potential injury beyond the rotator cuff that the ER suggested. As a rider himself, he knows what we get ourselves in to, and then knows what to look for. He took the time to explain the muscle / tendon / bone mechanics, and what my actual injury might be. I was referred to Dr. Labovitch by my sister due to continued knee pain and inability to perform my love of dance and hiking. My first appointment with him was impressive. He was extremely detailed in talking about how the knee functions, and very thorough in going over my x-rays with me, performed a detailed exam and knee function test, what to expect as my knees age and solutions to help me get stronger knees through exercise, strengthening, and other options when needed. They made a mistake giving my dad appointment knowing the insurance he has and when we went, they said, sorry, we don’t accept this insurance and not accepting cash or card!!! My review is about 2 issues. Pls read both as I think that you will find it very valuable. When the office called to schedule my appt., I told them I needed the Dr. to look at my knee & shoulders. The rep told me that "each body part requires a separate appt. for insurance purposes." I checked with physician friends & contacted my insurance. They said that this is NOT an insurance issue since multiple issues can be billed & addressed in one visit. This Dr. is billing the insurance and/or patient twice for a consult where more than 1 issue can be addressed in 1 visit. While this is not quite insurance fraud, it is very questionable. Forcing patients to schedule separate appts. for different body parts is similar to having an ENT specialist say that you must have a separate appt. to examine your nose & throat. This is clearly an office policy to increase revenue which should be of concern to all potential patients, insurance, & government officials. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The 2nd issue should be of interest to potential patients, are the reviews. It's interesting that this Dr. has 100 5-star reviews? It’s very odd that this is possible considering that if you look at the Dr.'s with a similar specialty, they are nowhere near that number of reviews, let alone, all 5-star. Notice that many reviews are posted by those who have only posted 1 or 2 reviews. While this is not unlikely, when you read the actual reviews, they are very similar in content. 1) Many of them clearly state the name of the physician in the review. 2) Many of the reviews talk about his knowledge, & the office staff. 3) Few reviews talk specifically about the issue that was addressed or the type of care administered or surgery. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Examples of reviews. Pay attention to the consistency of the reviews & that none mention any specific issue that was addressed but, only about the office staff & bedside manner: “The front office staff is friendly and welcoming even in the Covid world. I had a good experience this morning. A short waiting time and good service. The only reason this was a 9 out of 10 visit instead of a 10 out of 10 (5 stars) was that with Covid restrictions the instruction is to text when you arrive in the parking lot. I did this but had no reply even after texting a second time. I wasn't sure anyone realized I was waiting. Each other time I had an immediate response and was told that I would be texted again when a room was ready. I ended up calling to let them know I was there, which seemed to be wise on my part.
