Dr. Ryan M Tennant

Going to the dentist is never what I would call fun, but Dr. Tennant is so funny and personable that it makes going to the dentist (almost) worth it. He and his staff always go the extra mile; they’re kind, accommodating, and do a great job! The office is clean and modern, and if you have to get a cavity, they make the experience better by having a tv on the ceiling that you can watch Netflix on :)

A fun visit, for a dentist visit. Very clean place and precautions taken. Friendly staff and Dr Ryan is always a riot and gets the job done

The best dentist and staff ever. They all really care about doing it right and not cutting corners.

I had a chipped tooth and they got me in same day and gave me a filling in less than an hour. Dr Ryan is always awesome!

Talented and awesome team!

For over 15 years, I have been getting my mouth cleaned and repaired by Dr. Ryan. The establishment is clean, professional, and great taste in music.

Fantastic dentist! Highly skilled, super friendly staff; beautiful offices with leading edge tech; and incredibly reasonable on fees.

Great experience with Dr. Ryan Tennant and his team. I made an appointment when I started having some gum problems and another dentist said that I should get a biopsy done. Dr. Tennant and his team took a lot of time and explained to me the possible reasons and made some minor changes to my care routine. The problem went away and my teeth are in much better place. Love going to this place because the setting is very relaxing with beautiful decor. Highly recommended this place.

Dr. Ryan and all the staff at 2th Studio have taken great care of my dental health. I always find a warm friendly atmosphere and professional treatment that is up to the minute on the latest advancements in dentistry. I have been going there for nearly ten years and look forward to my next visit!

My favorite dentist! I moved here out of state and feel very fortunate to get my dental work and cleanings done here. Every single staff member is professional and pleasant to talk to. The teeth cleaning was satisfactory, but they don't combine your first teeth cleaning with an oral exam so you have to do two visits. They also try to do new X-rays even if your previous dentist recently did them. I went to 2th Studio on a referral after my regular dentist had difficulties with staffing during the pandemic. During the oral exam, Dr. Ryan Tennant spent over 10 minutes bragging about how his practice is superior and what low quality of dentists work at my previous dentist, Gateway Dental, which he said is an inferior business of a collective of dentists. What was even more disappointing was 2th Studio Dental said my insurance was accepted but didn't explain that they were out-of-network prior to providing service. Instead, after both my first appointment for a pointless oral exam and the second appointment for my teeth cleaning, they surprised me with the bill for nearly $200. When I explained that this was shocking, they said they would take care of the extra charges, but they didn't and 6 months later when I went to cancel my next teeth cleaning they stuck me with the bill. I would think "top tier care" has transparent business practices by them proactively reviewing my dental insurance coverage to let me know my out of pocket costs before providing the service. I asked for them to waive the extra fees and since I'm going to another dentist, otherwise I would leave a review letting others know about this poor service. In response, they replied with the following: From Paul M. - "To clarify, we offer top tier care based on patient need and have never “designed services to ensure they will be covered by insurance” and we do “take” Regence insurance at out of network levels; I can assure you Regence’s out of network status was discussed with you. Regence EOBs sent to you after your service—as mentioned—not only showed your patient portion / out of pocket cost but also reminded you of your out of network status. We took your insurance: your appointments cost $396; Regence covered $178. Please find attached the patient contract that was reviewed with you, on the day of your appointment. Please note your signature at the top. As for your threat to use negative reviews against us in order to avoid paying your bill, we can only ask you to act ethically. Negative reviews made for monetary gain (to avoid payment of fees incurred) are against the policy of all reputable review sites and are unethical period; they can also be reported (with a record of your threat in writing) to said sites so that those reviews are removed. In the interim, we will simply reply to your review by posting your written threat. It will be clear, to all who read it, that you are slandering a provider to avoid paying your bill. Disappointing." In conclusion, I caution those considering this dentist to do your homework on your own insurance and also make sure you want to support business that treat patients this way. If I could give Dr. Ryan, Heather, and the rest of the team more than 5 stars I would. I had horrible experiences with dentists growing up and was always so anxious to go back. I slacked on dental visits while in college and grad school and it had been 3+ years since I had been checked (bad I know). One of my patients recommended Dr Ryan to me. Ryan was so non judgey about how long it’s been, made me super comfortable, and his hilarious personality actually made me look forward to my dental visits. Just got done with my 4th visit there this year and am officially caught up on my dental health and feeling great. I’ve found my dentist for life! 10 years and counting.

Dr. Ryan and his staff resolved my implant catastrophe. For the first time in over 10 years I never have to worry about my teeth. I actually look forward to visits... Not a lot of kindness in the world right now but everyone here goes out of their way to make you feel welcome.

Brand new patient, first visit this morning. I have pretty terrible gums and periodontal troubles, which has made visits to the dentist a nightmare for most of my life. Every deep cleaning/scaling session I've ever had has been white-knuckled and painful despite a battery of local numbing techniques and nitrous to calm me down. Miraculously, today's deep clean was almost entirely painless, despite a four-year gap in treatment. I'm totally shocked-- especially considering how skeptical I am each time I try a new dentist. If you're suffering from gum troubles/bone loss and terrified of the chair, I hope you see this review and pay these folks a visit. Brand new patient, first visit this morning. I have been a patient of Dr. Tennant for 10 years and have always had wonderful experiences, which is saying something considering my general level of discomfort with having dental work done! Everyone in the office is wonderfully warm and friendly and the level of care is exceptional.

Dr. Ryan and his staff are the best in town. I’m a Seattle native and have seen several dentists since childhood. I was referred to him by a friend whose father is a dentist in San Francisco and whose mother works for the Arthur School of Dentistry in SF. I dread the day Dr. Ryan retires. My whole family sees him now, as do many of my coworkers. I never thought I’d see the day when I’d get excited to see the dentist (he’s hilarious—you’ll get it when you meet him). He has a 6th sense for detecting anxiety. I have very sensitive teeth and have had some bad experiences in the past... When I’m in the chair, I swear he senses my anxiety before I do. (The first took me from an infant until I was 31 years old!) I like this practice quite a bit. Dr. Ryan is a clear expert in his field, and he invests in cutting edge dental tech. My appointments with Dana have been friendly, efficient, and positive. (Also, they'll put a movie on for you if it's a longer procedure!) I love this dentist (both the office & Dr. Ryan)! When I was younger, I went to the same dentist for over 15 years and more recently, I've been to the quick service Willamette-type dentists. Dr. Ryan is absolutely a lifer! NFOD's office is BEAUTIFUL!! It definitely caters more to the 30-something crowd with the deep house lightly playing, but the couches are comfy and I love that there is a fish tank to watch instead of a tv (or maybe there was a tv and I just didn't notice). Either way, the waiting room is inviting and comfortable. The staff were all very friendly, and I was there first thing in the morning. It was great that the 'assistant' handles everything so you are not passed back and forth between a receptionist, a dental assistant, and the doctor. Lindsey was SUPER! She answered all of my questions and even looked some stuff up for me. Dr. Ryan is a funny guy! He's real, which is what I appreciated most about him. You will not hear a customer service voice out of this guy. He's friendly and funny and he too answered all my questions (including a rather stupid one about toothpaste that is probably well below a dentist's pay grade). This is a clean and swanky dental office. Great! Dr. Ryan is pleasant, and even possesses a sense of humor. Right on! But my wife and I don't go to to him for the decor or the company. He is a stone cold pro when it comes to his practice. He gets in the zone while he works and you can see him get visually irritated if something isn't up to his standard of perfection. We don't expect everything to be done perfectly, but it's reassuring to have a dentist who aims for that. Bottom line: come for the competency and stay for the personality. If you have to go to the dentist, at least go to a friendly, professional, fun one. I have been going here 8 years and have never had a bad experience. They do their best to get you in and out as quickly as possible while still doing a great job keeping my teeth healthy and clean. Plus, Dr. Ryan is just plain nice.

Shoddy work, unprofessional attitude. Nearly filed a complaint with the Washington State Department of Health's Dental Quality Assurance Commission. After my bad experience, I subsequently learned of someone else who had a similar one. Would not recommend.

I live in Bellevue and work Woodinville and I still drive to see him. Some people wrote about his lack of "chair side" manner? That's the whole reason I go!

I cannot say enough great things about this office, the staff who run it, and Dr. Cam and Dr. Ryan. Probably unlike most people, I have always enjoyed going to the dentist - one of my quirks I guess. But my experiences living in Seattle the last almost 20 years has been ending up with dentists who came across as blatantly greedy to almost corrupt. I'm really not exaggerating. I had one office manager who tried to add-on items at point of sale like I was in a retail store (i understand that it's a money-making enterprise, but there are limits), and I had another who called me to cancel my appointment same-day because it was really nice out and the whole office wanted to take the day off. Aside from New Face of Dentistry's super-cool modern look and brand-new equipment, the staff here a professional, friendly, and polite. They also have a sense of humor and are really easy to get along with. Prices are reasonable too, and you are not inundated with requests to preform unnecessary (expensive) services that are "for your own good." I recommend them highly.
