I was seen by Dr. Hassanaly at the hospital for an emergency appointment. Right away she made me feel comfortable. She reassured me I was in good hands. She was very knowledgable and explained things thouroughly. I was impressed by how patient she was! I would highly recommend Dr. Hassanaly for her professionalism and care.

I went to see Dr. Hassanaly for a complete eye exam. She was very flexible in her availabilities, which worked out great given my busy schedule. She was very thorough and did a comprehensive exam. I appreciated her professionalism, her bedside manner, and her detailed explanations after the exam. She took time to answer all my questions and even contacted me later to make sure I was doing well. She’s a caring and knowledgeable doctor. I would recommend Dr. Hassanaly to anyone!

Dr. Hassanaly is an excellent Ophthalmologist that I would recommend without hesitation. I went to see her for an annual eye exam. I was able to get an appointment promptly and got a full exam. Her explanations were detailed, very clear and thorough. I was impressed by the quality of care I received. I felt that I was in great expert hands, from start to finish. I’m happy to have found a first-rate eye doctor.

Dr. Hassanaly assisted me with on going checkups that I started in Canada and continued in Chicago when I moved there. She was able to get all of my records and performed all of the follow up tests quickly and professionally. I'm very glad she was my opthalmologist.

Dr. Hassanaly was very helpful and knowledgeable throughout my Lasik process. She was able to answer all of my questions and concerns. After my surgery she checked in on me multiple times as well as recommended healthy eye care. I would definitely recommend her.

I was so scared of getting Lasik done and Dr. Hassanaly was so supportive and so knowledgeable on the entire process. She answered all my questions and even my mom's questions about the procedure! Dr. Hassanaly treated me when I had issues with my eyesight. She got me in the clinic to see her within 24 hours, performed a full eye exam, dilated my eyes and thoroughly checked behind my eyes. I am very appreciative, impressed and I highly recommend Dr. Hassanaly. She is thorough, takes the time to explain all exams and is very efficient.

Salima told me she wasn’t responsible for post operative drops or my contact lense fitting and “someone else” could help me with that. When I asked if there was anyone she said she could check, left the room for 20 minutes without finishing my postop exam and gave me no information at all. Laziest and most inconsiderate doctor I’ve ever worked with.
