Salud Poblete Mendoza

Dr. Mendoza was a very kind and caring psychiatrist. I was transferring from another psychiatrist I had lost trust in. She listened to problems I experienced with some of the medicines prescribed by that psychiatrist and was very responsive. She helped me get off that medicine and try other ones. She is very good working with anxiety. I found I believe in more holistic approaches for anxiety so I ultimately asked Dr. Mendoza for help in weaning off the prescribed meds she had me on. She helped me wean off the meds and said I can contact her any time if I need help in the future.

My mom and I have been seeing Dr. Mendoza for years. She has helped her regain her real personality back after a med interaction caused severe psychosis. I would not want her to have to see anyone else. Salud is very caring and takes the time needed to get to the real issue. She will also fight for what the patient really needs. I am not interested in taking my mom to any other psych doctor. I hope she never leaves her practice as long as my mom is alive. She helps me feel like mom is being cared for with working knowledge of her particular circumstances. She goes out of her way to help when we have special needs. I love her and recommend her.

Dr. Mendoza walked side by side with me throughout my mother's illness. My mother had terrible Alzheimer's Disease and was with me in my home every day for 7 years. Isn't certainly wasn't easy but it was the best decision I could have made. I honestly don't know how I would have been able to get through this time with Dr. Salud Mendoza, she was such an excellent help. Her expertise guided me as we worked together to keep my mom at home until the day she died. I always recommend her to everyone who has a loved one who is stricken with Alzheimer's.
