Dr. Samara Friedman

dr. friedman is my go-to for any orthopedic injuries. she helped me with my scoliosis and my ankle injuries. i appreciate that she sits down, makes eye contact with me, and truly takes my experience/opinion into consideration. she is also very thorough regarding various diagnostic tests that should be done. if there's a problem, she works to find it. and she's very down-to-earth, which is something i love in a doctor

Holy misdiagnosis hell!!!. I brought my daughter to see dr Friedman yesterday after an er visit for 2 broken legs. After arriving I hear the doctor outside the room mocking my daughter claiming there was no way she could have gotten injured in such a manor. She then came in and said her legs are perfectly fine and made her walk on them. She then proceeded to tell us that she will be running in a week.... she has CP she will not be running in a week, a month, or a year. She told us oh see her pain isn’t excruciating she’s fine.... could it be the nerve damage and the fact that her legs are numb???! I guess she would only know that if she bothered to take a patient history. Typical arrogant unskilled Atlantic doctor. What a waste of 2 hours and a 15 dollar copay. We left and saw a real doctor today who said she does indeed have two fractured legs and made the right one worse by walking on it. Thankfully there’s other pediatric orthopedists in town.

She talks crap about patients right outside their door and won’t answer any questions. She never even bothered to take a history or anything. Very rude and unprofessional.

Really wonderful doctor and very clear and calm in explaining everything

Eight years ago, I slipped on ice and ended up with a brutal leg fracture. Dr. Friedman was my saving grace. She performed an incredibly intricate and successful surgery, resulting in minimal scarring and giving me full flexion of my ankle. Dr. Friedman guided me through my entire recovery and remains a close contact and support system to this day. Quite simply, Dr. Friedman is phenomenal, both as a doctor and person, and I will be grateful for her always.

When the receptionist noticed that my son was a new patient she asked if we had "the paperwork". I replied that I had not been sent any paper work to fill out prior to the appointment. She replied that we should have arrived a half hour early. I replied that I had not been told of the need to arrive early. Dr. Friedman told the receptionist that we would have to wait an hour an a half to see her. I had taken my son out of school - this was not our error. This was unacceptable and unprofessional
