Samer Alkhuja

I really miss Dr.Alkhuja I moved to Ga a few years ago and so far haven’t found a doctor who takes the time to explain what was going on with my condition like he did. I wish I could’ve brought him with me lol.

I have had night terrors, and sleep issues for years. Have been to many doctors and none of them could help. I was terrified to fall asleep bc I was afraid of my nightmares, and night terrors. Dr. Alkhuja answered all of my questions and FINALLY confirmed that I was not "crazy!" That what I have actually has a medical term, and that it had gotten worse due to a head injury from a car accident. He is easy to talk to, and has compassion. Dr. needs to spend more time hearing out his patients concerns. 3 minutes is just not enough. He seems overbooked all the time.

His staff is wonderful, but I can’t say the same for him. He’s abrasive and condescending towards his patient. He doesn’t want to hear what you think or have to say. He seems to have a problem with women especially outspoken ones He is threatened if challenged by a women. He is also very immature. If you challenge him or don’t agree with him, he doesn’t want you as a patient any longer. It very sad that you can’t explain your concerns when it’s your body that your concerned with. He is excellent doctor.

Very toid

Took a few years but I have grown to really like and appreciate Dr A. as I have gotten to know and understand him better. He is a very knowledgeable and caring Dr. who will go above and beyond for his patients.

From the moment I walked in this door the staff all made me feel as though I was there primary concern. The receptionist was extremely helpful with assisting in getting me all checked in and having everything ready at the end of me appointment. The medical assistant/nurse was very accommodating while retrieving/recording all results for tests. Dr. Alkhuja was nothing short of amazing. He went over every possible thing I may have questioned and when we were finished I felt completely satisfied in what he had discussed. In the end, I would highly recommend this doctor for all your pulmonary needs. I myself travel about an hour just to see him strictly because he’s that great. Unprofessional, arrogant, feels like he's above all, my husband just got out of the hospital three days ago and Dr. Alkhuja prescribed like a c-pac for my husband which he refused and informed him to find another doctor to treat him. My husband suffers from congestive heart failure and was very upset when this Dr called today and advised him to find another doctor. I think this is very unprofessional.

Dr. Alkhuja always has time for me even if his schedule is full he will somehow fit me in. He pays attention to what i have to say and doesn't make me feel like my symptoms are incorrect as some other physicians do. He treats the whole patient not just pulmonary.

I hadn't been to a pulmonologist in about 15 years...and he was excellent. However, he is no longer in practice. I did some research and came across Dr. Alkhuja. I made an appointment, and from that first visit, I knew I made the right choice. He is very personable, didn't talk over my head, and explained things in an easy to understand way. He was very thorough, and he didn't rush in and then out of the exam room. Dr. Alkhuja educated me on my pulmonary issues, and spent as much time with me as I needed. great doctor!!! spends time with you.. explains himself.. I was shocked to be treated like a human being considering health care is poor in NEPA.. Doc gave me hope that there is still doctors out there that care and have a personality with passion in what they do...

The man deserves a medal for saving lives he saved mine incredibly smart will not only answer any question but will explain it. Cares for you like your family. Professional staff friendly. Thank you sir for saving lives. Calling this man your Doctor is an honor.

What a wonderful and thorough Doctor. With a chest scan he found a large cancerous tumor on my kidney! Another time, he also found a tumor on my lung and stressed the importance of taking care of things quickly. I owe my life to this man....as a 9/11 responder, I feel comfortable with him and his decisions, it's for the patient not for the money.

Dr Alkhuja and his staff were all so friendly and easy to talk to. I had a very good experience and highly recommend him. He explained things very well, in a way I could understand.

He took the time to go over my problem and gave me options for care. He immediately put me on med and scheduled procedure to help my illness. My elderly parents have seem him as well.

I went In with stabbing chest and rib pain, he tells me it sounds like pleurisy and sends me on my way. The pain gets worse so I go back 2 days later. He comes out and says " I can't see u everyday, insurance will come after me" it was only the 2nd time I've seen him in many mnths. Then I told him I was still in pain and rite away he insults me by saying "I can't give u narcotics" insinuating that I was drug seeking. I told him that I just wanted antibiotics to treat the condition. What a jerk

I was sent for a CT scan of my chest. He received a copy of the report, handed it to me and told me it was Normal! I had a 4 cm. mass under the breastbone. It was right there in black and white. Had I not went to another specialist, I would have never known I had cancer. I wouldn't recommend him to my worst enemy!

He spoke very quickly and scared the daylights out of me. This was a first visit.

Great Doctor took the time to explain my CT, how to proceed from there. Excellent bed side manner, super friendly.
